Thy Kingdom Come: Archbishop Justin Welby invites you to take part

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are inviting churches to pray for the evangelisation of the nation during the week before the Day of Pentecost 2016 (May 8-15) in an event they are calling ‘Thy Kingdom Come’.
The Archbishops have written to every serving parish priest expressing their longing ‘to see a great wave of prayer across our land, throughout the Church of England and many other Churches'

In the Diocese of Blackburn, parishes are being encouraged to use this event to specifically pray for the Crossroads Mission taking place from September 8-11 this year.
Crossroads Mission will see nearly 30 Bishops from across the northern Dioceses descend on Lancashire for the four days, alongside the Archbishop of York, for an event focussed firmly on local parishes, mission and evangelism.
So, please use this opportunity, alongside Christians from across the country, as a time to pray for the success of Crossroads.
