Lived on the Central Estae for about 4 years now. At least 5 incidents of persons attacking/breaking into my vehicles - despite reporting these crimes a police officer has never attended the scene.
Can't belive there are only 10 coppers in Hartlepool. Its that why it's such a lawless cesspit. I lived a hard life, and that place genuinely scared me.
Crime in Hartlepool is absolutely shocking, no police presence on the streets whatsoever, constantly cars broken in and burglaries in my area which is only 10 min walk from the town centre
Nobody EVER protests against these cuts in officers though...? The people of Hartlepool need to grow some balls and protest and show some activism and SHAME the local councils.... the people of pool deserve better .... I left my home town of pool 16 years ago and I come home twice a year...in this time I see a decline in services .. no police ...high council taxes ...rubbish littering streets real poverty .... the people deserve better !!! I live down south now and though the people there are not very nice and there is zero community ...there is a lot more money poured into the south than the north and it is very very unfair and it disgusts me ...

The last cop wanted to say and do alot more.. he was visually scanning you both out you could see his eyes and the cogs turning (always pay particular attention to eyes and body language of police) and he even photographed or filmed you both probably as an intimidating tactic unless he can run you through facial recognition (without your permission.. you should of asked what he intends to do as you told him) Your nice attitude diffused him being problematic, His lack of commitment in his replies, and non verbal language showed a lot more. Not to be trusted but also you kept a good attitude Well done lads. Dont ever trust authorities
