It's unfortunate to giggle in that setting, but we all kept looking up waiting on the bolt of lightning to come down, still giggling... Then Pops looked up(to the Heavens) and apologized to Nonna(his wife) and apologized for the " Hooligans antics" then he started giggling! For we were ALL "Nonna's Hooligans!" ♥️😂 I miss her something fierce. 😢

It's all about levity and celebrating your memories of the person! Hell... when it comes to witty wordplay jokes... the better! Growing up in my house, Mom offhand was thinking about her favorite song to play at her funeral. Mike' s comedic timing was spot on, "Ding dong the witch is dead". Mom laughed the hardest. And thought it should be the first song during the priest and gangs entrance! Levity! 🙃☘️

The laughter dominio thing actually happened to us at a wedding in Tyrone. All off my friends are proper (accountants, doctors etc) I'm far from that but travelled) The fecking priest was so boring (Mr Bean or your man Cook type priest) one of the professional people started giggling and it rolled around like the dominio. When we left the church afterward the mothers of the bride and groom made it clear it was My fault. Then maybe 400 people started to laugh, as I was the only trying to refrain from doing so in the church. Yep I literally wet myself in the church but had dark trousers 0n so no bother, but I didn't laugh inside, made up for it outside though
In any other country it is a sign of disrespect to laugh at a funeral only in Ireland is it acceptable to a degree of course were just awkward . and its acceptable to have a few drinks too . granted the last one I went to I was the taxi man ... such a harsh thing . a sober funeral

I have an unfortunate condition where I laugh when uncomfortable or seeing someone else in some sort of distress. Laughted my ass off the whole way through my grandmothers funeral whenever I saw one of my relatives upset 🤦♂️😂
There was no one pretending to not know what was happening, like meeting an old friend with him a number of people you don't know then you ask why's it that he is not giving up on life, people are crossing, that can make me laugh like I laughed at this story, I knew someone who would say he just wanted people to know that you make your life easier or harder yourself, people who don't believe in God try hard to stay relevant, but those who do what God wants don't even need to try,it happens naturally
