I agree, the first master is funny! If only he never vanished, I think he and Sora would get along and probably prank the pants off of Riku and Yen Sid
Current whereabouts: Ava: ???? Other Foretellers: Keyblade Graveyard Most of the prominent characters until now: Destiny Islands *Master of Masters: TOKYO*
Anyone else think this game (movie) has the best cutscenes in terms of dialogue and execution in the whole series? Maybe it's just the Master of Masters, but these conversations flow much better than in the other games, IMO
Well considering Kingdom Hearts games are know for their ackward character dialogues this is certainly a step up in writings. They actually act like human beings in this. I actually sometimes watch full movie in 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue bc it's so good.
If you speed up the movies on UA-cam it's actually a lot better and flows nicer, except for this, but it's funny to hear their voices when it's sped up for this one in my opinion.
This was created specifically as a movie, so thank God the writing is better... Too bad the subject isn't. This movie is still garbage, it's just people talking about the series' lore and nothing being shown happening.
Knowing what Kingdom Hearts actually is would be great and all, but ANYTHING could be in the box! It could even be the knowledge of what Kingdom Hearts really is! I'll take the box
I just noticed, and i'm sure i'm late on it, but the master of master says, "you think the world can be saved by just 7 people." and we are waiting for the show down between the 13 seekers of darkness against the 7 guardians of light.
therealmfbtl notice that he never actually said whether *he* thought it was possible or not. His inflection leads you to assume he means there's no chance, but this is a very tricky guy. We don't really know much of anything about what he's thinking.
yeah I got that from it as well, 7 people saving the world is (supposedly) exactly what we're going to get with 3. Also the masters name is most likely something based on 'super' following the naming with the other 6 if he is pride.
A new game is started with 7 pieces of black chess, which most likely the role will be reversed. In the original game, light is always like a goodside and darkness is the opposite. But, if you play KHUx, you'll know that the clash between light seekers can resulting chaos.
@@MariNate1016 Glorious prequel era where (keyblade/lightsaber) wielders are a commodity and trained, chosen ones (Terra/Anakin) that are influenced by an evil overseer (Xehanort/Palpatine) that ultimately lead to the (darkness/sith) overtaking the world. (Sora/Luke), the last of the wielders that is capable of putting an end to the enemy. There's a lot of parallels.
@@sakonan4883 OH MY GOD. He who bears the sigil!! I barely realized :O I mean most likely I'm wrong but if by the sigil they meant the X... I don't I always looked for it on the masters' clothing... but Luxu's the only one with the X (I forgot the name of that sigil). So is Luxu the traitor???
Yeah, can someone explain that? Can Luxu steal people's bodies? What did Luxu tell Ava? And where is Ava? Why does my favourite character always seem to get screwed over?!
sadly they never reached the Keyblade War part of the story due to not having a default avatar for the player character who plays a very important role in the storyline and future planned storylines.
orrthehunter well... what if the Avatar is supposedly a misunderstood remembrance of a main character's memory? And they remember after meeting Sora? After all, I am still confused about the Maleficent scene from the game.
The scene was a indication of how much time has passed since the Keyblade wars since the Avatar survived the war but...... SPOILERS The Avatar lost all his or her memory about the Keyblade war and events of Unchained due to Chirithy saving the Avatar by sending him or her into the Unchained. As a result he or she must retrain to regain all the skills and memories lost. Maleficent used the Unchained to have the Avatar relive his or her life in Unchained to find the Book of Prophecy thus the entire event of Unchained was that the Avatar was reliving his or her past so Maleficent can locate the Book of Prophecy since the Avatar was the only survivor of the Keyblade wars and knows the location of the Book of Prophecy.
In the end, they only betray themself. A leader that fail to focus and focus only on lost page. A co-leader that only focus of becoming leader and think he is the righteous. A snake that fail to be mediator and cause more chaos. A leopard that cannot keep quiet and act normal. And the last - a fox that told not to be involved on something, but go to battlefield. They are failure at the first place. That is why the master chose them, because they can't keep their role. Maybe - - or at least that is what I think.
When I first heard the "Master of Masters", I was expecting some deep-toned wise dude, but I LOVE THIS DUDE!!! XD Also, another thing, Ava reminds me so much about Xion. ( o_o)
“The one who bears the sigil.” The lost page mentions that is the traitor. “As your flesh bears the sigil, so your name shall be known as that of a Recusant.” Xemnas talking about the X on Sora’s DDD outfit, the Recusant’s Sigil. Ira Aced Invi Ava Gula ...LuXu.
Yeah. Then again he also carries, as in bears, a giant black box around with the title X-Super on it, which is probably the Master's name, so who knows.
@@IllusiveSheen It's implied and then confirmed in KHUX that the MOM also gave them new names when he made them his apprentices, so the MOM gave Luxu the name bearing an X. The MOM plotted out everything.
@@Kaiheart "May your heart be your guiding Key" The Master of Master knew the information he provided to Luxu would ultimately get Luxu to tell Ava there wasn't a Traitor, and they were to be possessed by Darkness. This would cause Ava to attack him, and ring the Bell. Behold, Keyblade War.
I think what makes this so confusing isn't the story itself, but the way Nomura chooses to relay it. He leaves it all scattered, expecting people to dissect every single other entry of the series for hints. That's fine on some level, but when it gets to the point where you have to do that just to understand the basic plot, there is a bit of a problem. He'll always be one of my favorites, but I can't help but admit that I think he has some issues with writing and framing stories.
@@sleepychristv it's not "guessing", but "thinking". If you don't like it, why would you be here to follow the franchise? It means the director succeed in attracting you to follow the story and then thinking, while at the same time he make next future games for the franchise to give answers. That's why Kingdom Hearts is popular among all level of ages. You need to be passionate. This game is not for you if you are the type that do not like thinking, or being lazy.
I'm convinced the master of masters is the reason the keyblade war happened. If no one thought there was a traitor, there probably wouldn't have been chaos
But they thought there was a traitor because Ira thought so! The master only told gula about there being a traitor and gula never told anybody until Ira did and all this mess happened...
@@callmeleo9343 but the fact that the traitor page existed meant there had to be a traitor I'm with vigriff on this, the MoM even made sure to include himself in the group with Luxu. he gave everyone but Luxu and Ava conflicting and pointless roles to create a civil war, and it ended with the keyblade war just like he said it would.
CallMeLeo they thought there was a traitor because MoMtold them if someone has darkness in their hearts their Charitiy(whatever it’s called lol) would change into a nightmare and Ira saw a nightmare snooping around. MoM planted that in them
Also their body type is different, the Master is a broad man taller than Demyx and had pointed shoulders in his coat design I actually have my own theory that the Master was the physical incarnation to Kingdom Hearts and was guiding everyone to their proper place in favor of balance When the events lead to the Keyblade War disappeared, the Master disappeared I think it had something to do with Kingdom Hearts itself
Michael Filippino This isn't Nolan North, if you'd like to know some of the bigger roles he's been of course Deadpool, Nathan Drake, Sergeant Forge, and Edward Richtofen as well as many other various roles. This is a small portion but as widely as he's been used, he's never been in a Kingdom Hearts game or within Back Cover.
The Master of Master's mannerism and personality reminds me of Demyx. Also Ray Chase did the Master's voice? WOW! He's all over the place as far as his vocal range.
but remember, Gula's task was to find the one who's heart succumbed to darkness, and his pose in one of the screenshots before this released pointed to him being connected to Sora, because Sora had the same pose, also Nomura had actually stated himself that there are no coincidences in Kingdom Hearts, so Gula having the same exact pose as Sora means something, such as maybe Gula is connected to Sora somehow, such as possibly being his ancestor
The Sammich Man remember though, in BBS he said he wanted to see it, if he was there then why would he say that he wanted to see the war, and if he had already seen it then why try to recreate it?
again if that was true, why would Xehanort say he wanted to be there? if he was alive during that time then why wasn't he in the war he so very much wanted to see? (also I haven't been able to play Unchained X so thanks for that damn spoiler :/)
First the master created the spirits, bangles, unions and rules. Luxu the role to observe the future and don't interfere. Iria leadership with not knowing who this traitor is? Figured whoever has the missing page could be the one. Which that page was given to Gula from the master. Invi to watch and oversee the others their by planting doubts to one another. Aced with his pride told to be Iria right hand man but his weakness was exported by the master. Knowing that Aced longing to be the leader. Gula with the missing page knew there will be a traitor, tries to figure out who it is by the one who over steps there role. Which advised by the master. Thus couldn't figured it out who this traitor is, which leads him to break the biggest rule in order to get the master back. In order to figure all this out. Ava creates a separate organization and is told by the Master to run away when the chain reaction happens. In order to keep the little light safe. Make a new timeline after the war. Overall the Master is the traitor. Seeing in the future can lead anyone into the dark side. AKA Star Wars mambo jumbo
agreed now everytime i see Xehanort with it i think his eye .........still ......in that..keyblade... swinging.. around at aqua ven and terra and everyone else .......ewwwww thats just massed up and still watching ................. that disturbing in so many ways
My guess is that these Foretellers could potentially be used as the designated villains of the next saga of the Kingdom Hearts franchise now that the Dark Seeker Saga is over. While Xehanort was obviously evil, these Foretellers will be motivated by their relentless desire to protect the light by any means necessary, guided by ambiguous prophecies and each Foreteller's own stubborn belief that he/she is right, even when in conflict with the other Foretellers. My guess is that this will present a new front in the light vs. darkness theme of Kingdom Hearts, showing that "light" can be as destructive as "darkness" (i.e. evil and destruction can be perpetuated even by those with the best of intentions). I also hypothesize that Ava was the original founder of the Keyblade organization that survived the first Keyblade War - the same group that Master Eraqus, Master Xehanort, Ventus, Aqua and Terra all belonged to. Although that group disbanded after Xehanort's betrayal, Ava's legacy is continued by Sora, Riku, Mickey Mouse and the other surviving Keyblade wielders. Ava's role was to ensure that the light would never fade away, which would explain why Luxu said that her role was done at the end of KH3.
So basically, in their efforts to protect the light, they’ll practically become more like Master Eraqus in that they possess a black and white mortality of light is good, darkness is bad.
That would be pretty interesting given we have Riku, a keybakde weilder using darkness without issue anymore, and Terra, a keybalde wielder who fell to and returned from darkness
@@OriginalGameteer in Ux the MoM describes a world with .X. to the darkness that chided with him Riku and Terra are perfect examples of light wielders with cross overs into darkness, something that darkness cannot touch
Fun Fact: The Five Tellers, Luxu, and the Master of Masters, are all based on the Seven Deadly Sins. The Master: Pride Luxu: Lust Gula: Gluttony Invi: Envy Aced: Sloth Ava: Greed (aka, Avarice) Ira: Wrathķ
yeah, a zoom to the black box shows that there's "Super" in the red heart of it. Latin for Pride = Superbia, so yeah, that's his name. Also he explicitly count "me and you guys equals seven.... What !? You didn't count me in ?!"
Source? You shouldn't say they are based on them, from your own assumptions. Most of the tellers don't match those sins at all. How does Luxu show lust? Ava greed? Baseless. Could more likely be referring to the seven lights of the x blade.
It's not baseless , their names are the 7 Deadly Sins , only in latin. Thing is , their personalities are based on their counterpart: the 7 Heavenly Virtues , only in the end it shows a metaphorical display of the 7 sins.
FenrisZAmarok Each foreteller name almost directly translates to one sin in Latin. Aced: _acedia_ meaning *Sloth* Ava: _avaritia_ meaning *Greed* Gula: _gula_ meaning *Gluttony* Invi: _invidia_ meaning *Envy* Ira: _ira_ meaning *Wrath* Luzu: _luxuria_ meaning *Lust* The only name not given is the Master of Masters who count himself as apart of group making 7. As well as the words "X Super" on the box. _Superbia_ is pride in Latin, and the only sin left not covered. Pride is said to be the greatest of all the 7, as well as the sin that gives rise to the other 6. The Master of Masters fits Pride extremely well, training the foretellers who all represent sins themselves.
The one pretty big flaw in the Sora being MoM theory: Master of Master's seems far smarter than Sora has ever shown himself to be. If I were to pick a person who could be MoM in disguise I'd have to say... Demyx. He's similarly quirky and silly, and he's always behind the scenes. He's also deceptively smart and makes a point of making himself SEEM useless. Both Demyx and MoM have sudden shifts between playful and funny and deathly serious as well. I think it's a good fit.
Hmm, well in Dream Drop Distance Sora was almost Norted. Or at least we are lead to believe it. Perhaps a part of Xehanort did make it inside - wouldn't be the first time Sora gave someone a free ride in his body anyway. Or even the fourth. The mannerisms and way he talks just...feel like Sora. But the intelligence and mastery of manipulation are reminiscent of Xehanort himself. A final villain who is both our hero and longest running antagonist is an interesting idea. Then again I personally just want MoM to be someone who will blow our minds not, "and who is this Square anime bishie suppose to be?" Hiding his face just to reveal him as basically a no body to just seems a waste of the shock of the reveal.
Isn't it a bit hypocritical to claim that the reason Sora, who has way more evidence for being a younger version of the MoM and would fit the narrative better, isn't the MoM is because he isn't 'smart' enough and yet claim that Demyx, who has shown to be equally as dense as Sora is? That 'flaw' as you claim it to be can be solved easily enough with the simple fact that the MoM is a fully grown man who can see into the future while Sora is a 16-year-old boy who is always kept in the dark by people who honestly have no reason to not tell him things (Mickey, Yen Sid, Ansem the Wise)? If Sora was to grow up in the type of scenario the MoM is in, knowing that a war is coming and it's inevitable and if he was actually allowed to be told things he honestly should know (if certain characters weren't shady dicks), then he could actually be far smarter than he has shown if given the chance. Sora hasn't been given the chance to show his true potential when given a decent chance, such as seeing into the future and having that knowledge to set event necessary for the future into motion. Demyx has shown no moments of being 'deceptively smart' as you claim, or at least not in a way that could signify in any means other than his body language, which Sora also shares in common with the MoM and much more, that could connect him to the MoM. Go ahead and theorise what you want, you have the right to, but don't claim that Demyx has so much in common with the MoM and blatantly criticise Sora who has even more in common both character, symbolism, and narrative-wise.
A lot of viewers here like the Master of Masters because of his informal, casual, positive attitude. It just shows you that people can get easily taken in by a sociable, charismatic person, whether that person has good or ill intentions.
People often passionately act, defend and fight for charismatic people, even in opposition to their own beliefs. Charisma can be a truly frightening thing, because it can inspire many people to fight for a single ideal or goal.
The Master didn't say ANYTHING about, "not letting the apprentice fall to darkness". Just give it to someone strong who will give it to someone strong who will continue so forth so the master is able to "see the future" whatever the hell that actually means. So...nah, he actually did a good job. I mean, Xehanort is strong and is certainly gathering someone who could take up the Keyblade. Just, y'know, with Xehanort taking their bosy for a drive.
My guess he's a nobody which is why he's constantly bringing up him disappearing Plus he knows everything that's going to happen If that trunk has his heart and once it's open wouldn't he be resurrected and he may have bigger plans Also he keeps planting the seed of a traitor What if he's refering to himself
Aced's mask should have been an echidna Because he was voice by knuckles ALSO meaning this movie should have been named "Kingdom hearts back cover X and Knuckles" ...Ft Knuckles
I think some of the biggest issues is is that only Ava stayed true to both the Master's teachings as well as the role given her. Invi was to observe the others and act as the mediator. Aced was right to call her out for behaving like a spy. Invi wasn't doing anything to try and mediate between everyone. I also think she saw the teachings about balance to be a literal balance of power between the unions and not the balance between light and darkness. I also think she was jealous of the role Aced was given to be the right-hand man of Ira since she kind of took that role upon herself. Aced was supposed to be the right hand of Ira, support him and step up when Ira falls short. He, however, was jealous that Ira was chosen instead of him, not recognizing that he didn't have the qualities of a leader to make people want to follow him although no one could deny his passion. He also was the first to abandon the master's teachings but only did so trying to fulfill the role he felt the master gave him. Being told to step up doesn't mean usurp Ira's position, it means fill in the gaps where Ira falls short. However, rather than support Ira and help him act decisively Aced instead chose to berate him and immediately decide that because Ira made a decision he disagreed with it automatically meant that Ira was no longer fit to be leader. Gula tried so hard to fulfill the role he had been given to use the Lost Page to find the traitor but was also willing to break the Master's teachings in order to find out who the traitor was and he ended up finding himself in a vulnerable position, not trusted by anyone and everyone thinking he was the traitor. He went rogue to try and bring the Master back and ultimately abandoned both the Masters teachings and his role to try and get answers. Ira became obsessed with the idea that one of the five of them absolutely had to be the traitor that he dismissed any possibility that his judgement is wrong. He also honed in like a laser on the lost page and used that to justify any action he was going to take. He tried to stay true to the Master's teachings but he most certainly wasn't trying to be a leader. He wasn't trying to keep them united, he simply wanted to prevent the last passage from happening, even if it meant tearing the five of them apart to find the traitor from among all five of them. Ava stayed out of all the conflict and drama between the other four. She stayed true to the Master of Master's teachings and fulfilled her role with the Dandelions. I honestly don't know if the Master of Masters is good or evil. He definitely manipulated everyone by giving them roles which inevitably put them in conflict with each other but each and every one of them are also responsible for their failure to live up to those roles to the degree he explained them. He also warned them that the last passage in the Book of Prophecies was going to happen and that they should prepare for what comes after, but Ira was more interested in preventing it from happening rather than listen to the Master about that, even when he was told flat out that the keyblades were not meant to defend Kingdom Hearts or the light. It kind of makes me curious what the Master would have said if he was asked what the purpose of the keyblades were.
Possibly. He seems to have a similar way of talking like sora (though that might be just me overthinking it) and that eye of his is blue. Sora has blue eyes...
Ive said this before but i find it VERY interesting that when the master gives each of the foretellers their roles, hes all sarcastic as if its all one big joke and whatnot, EXCEPT with ava.. He is very serious when giving her her role and sounds very sincere too
@@jumperthehedgehog2932 Who's Streletzia? She wasn't in this, also, I heard Marluxia and Larxene's somebody's were in this game, but they weren't, do I have to play the mobile game? Please tell me I don't have to play the mobile game!
See KHX ending. Sadly.... SPOILERS Ava dies in the keyblade war by the hands of the player character along with all other Union leaders. The only one to survive the Keyblade War is the Player character who wakes up sometime around KH2 and KH3 revealing he or she has memory loss about his or her past life as a Keyblade wielder during the Keyblade Wars and now must retrain to gain back those memories.
To amend this information, 1. The player only loses their memories of the Keyblade War. They still remember being a Keyblade wielder, and, in fact, remember being asked to join the Dandelions, (and falsely remembering that they accepted). 2. While the player does indeed fight the Foretellers, (except for their own Union's Foreteller), they barely manage to drive them off, while the Foretellers walk away with barely a scratch. 3. It's not confirmed when exactly the Epilogue takes place. 4. It's also not confirmed that only the player survived the war. Hope that helps things.
I see all these theories, but I feel like people are forgetting one thing the master said, “We have to focus on what comes after.” The master may be referring to what he cannot see past the event.
The sad part of all this is that 2050 is a long time for Kingdom Hearts 3 to come out, and we didn't even knew the story of Sora shoes yet. Maybe in Kingdom Hearts 2.9, who knows.
I've only watched a couple videos and read up on a few things but from what I've gathered I actually kinda like the story and set up for Union Cross better than the main series. Prophecies, trying to fight back against inevitability, the brinkmanship and mutually assured destruction mindset of the different unions trying to maintain a balance of power despite the obvious harm in doing so, because NOT doing so is equally as dangerous. Subterfuge and paranoia all in a more streamlined set up without so many groups of characters to follow. It's complex, not convoluted. Whereas, for all it's charm, the main series is kinda the opposite. And then the player's storyline. Discovering the inevitable war and how he was one of the few chosen to survive and would you be able to live with leaving everyone else to die.
Voice actors for this movie: Master of Masters(Black-hood figure): Ray Chase Luxu: Max Mittelman Ira: Matthew Mercer Aced: Travis willingham Invi: Karissa Lee Staples Gula: Kevin Quinn Ava: Isabella Moner Ephemer: Michael Johnson Chirithy: Lara Jill Miller
My theory is Kairi is possibly Ava’s reincarnation and that’s why Namine, Kairi’s nobody, looks different from her because underneath that mask and robe, Ava looks just like Namine. And maybe Sora is a descendent of Ephemer.
A.J. DeNofa I agree with Ava and Kairi connection, and thought of Namine looking so random and different as Kairi’s nobody. Plus she has power to control memory, which is odd for just a nobody to have. But that may be because Kairi was a princess of light...hmmm. Idk. Lol
Naminé probably looks like that because of Kairi's heart being inside Sora who also carried part of Ventus' heart at the time. When he became a heartless Naminé and Roxas were created from his multiple hearts.
"The traitor is the one who bears the sigil" "As your flesh bears the sigil, so your name shall be known as that of a Recusant." Okay so it's the Recusant's Sigil. Okay so it's Luxu. OKAY SO ITS XIGBAR. THIS IS FINE.
None of them have once to stop and realize that they were being played. Its because of their given roles which created the prophecy to begin with. Ava even stated herself that people need to start thinking for themselves and start questioning shit thats being told to them. They found contradictions in their roles that their beloved master have given them. No one question the fact that their master wanted no union among the factions, the competition among the factions was what caused the issue to begin with, as long as they were divided it was easier to jump start this prophecy. Not only that, why is their master the only one rocking a black hoody while everyone else is has holy white attire? That alone should be suspect as hell, the theme of this series is Light vs Dark and he is the only guy rocking a dark hoody.
Mugen Lord the thing is I think the MOM did this to show to never trust anyone...I just theorize that since KH3 have the secrets ending with Luxu it’s probably inform there is a traitor and that is most likely Luxu...I just assume the master of master is the god that’s watching over events and seeing how it turns out he’s neither good or bad...but hey that’s just my theory
Just another mystery in the kingdom hearts fandom with no answers or hints in sight. Just obscure secret endings that could never make sense until nOmura decides they want to make sesne. Ugh, I feel like my role is to forever be confused.
Isn't It a bit scary the fact that both Luxu and MoM almost disappear at the same time? I mean, look at how Luxu turned out to be after all these years: a Master of masters lookalike, both in body shape and psyche: he's sarcastic, manipulative, like his master. We know that time travel is only possible if a certain person has another version of himself in the future, or past. So my bet Is on Luxu being MoM, they're the same person, but after his old self disappeared in the past, he couldn't keep his own body, his own existence in that exact time. Therefore he vanished without trace.
I still think the Master himself is the traitor and the one who gained a Nightmare. He gave the Foretellers each contradictory roles that would cause suspicion, and lead to the war.
Imagine if he turned out to be like 'Tobi' from Naruto? Goofy as fuck, but when things REALLY are at stake, he becomes a real piece of shit. Charatcers like that honestly terrify the shit outta me.
Luxu is the traitor. The master said that the fact the book exists is because of luxu's success, but the book exist only to tell the future and say that the light will expires and the darkness prevail. Its is going to happen because of luxu
Pretty amusing how in a group of people with animal masks on their heads, the guy wearing the black longcoat and hood is the most humorous out of them all
He took over the body of Bragi, one of their classmates. Most likely cause he knew thats where the Gazing Eye was being kept so he could get it. Then when Xehanort was given the Gazing Eye, Luxu waited till the right moment then sometime before Birth By Sleep, he took over Braigs body to track down Xehanort.
Back Cover has become my favorite KH thing ever. I wanted to hate it on principle but the well-developed characters, lore connections and intrigue won me over. Pretty thought-provoking, too. And the Master of Masters? Best KH character, hands down.
The 7 Masters's names based on the 7 Deadly Sins Found out a while ago, idk if it's true... GULA AVAritia LUXUria IRA INVIdia ACEDia The only one left is Superbia. Maybe that's the Master of Masters's name
Ok, a few things: 1. thanks for posting this. I'm an old fan of the KH series and a pc player, so obviously this movie wasn't gonna be available to me... Thank Square Enix, you guys really know how to get your games out to a wide audience... -.- 2. This is practically a classic team building exercise where a group is given a relatively easy riddle to answer with each member given a different piece of information and the instructor tells the group that there is a traitor among the group. But there is no traitor; it all comes down to no one trusting anyone unless everyone decides to ignore the whole traitor deal. 3. Jumping off point 2, this is what some would consider an "idiot plot" or a plot in which all the conflict originates from people being idiots and not properly communicating. 4. So the entire reason there was a Keyblade War was because Ira thought, "hey, if we have enough people with deadly weapons, we can prevent a war from happening". Oh dear god... Best logic ever... 5. All the keyblade wielders shown in the movie were kids; so the Keyblade War was fought with primarily child soldiers and these child soldiers were killing each other and the Keyblade Graveyard is the final resting place of a bunch of kids? OH DEAR GOOOOOOOOOOD!!! O.O Also, where are the parents, cause I'd like to imagine mom and dad say, "No Jimmy, you can't go outside and fight in the war today; you've got chores to do." 6. So everyone in the Keyblade War dies? Jeez, there's war of attrition and then there's THIS! 7. Guys, the boat is a boat, but there could be anything in the box; it could even be a boat! 8. If there were a bunch of Keyblade wielders told to run away at the start of the Keyblade War then why do we never hear about them ever? Are they like the 12th Tribe of Israel? Did they go to pre-colonial America and bury a bunch of golden plates too? GUYS, START DIGGING!!! 9. Why would the master stop writing predictions AFTER the keyblade war, but not further? To build suspense for KH3, yeah, I know. But I mean, his sight should go further considering how the entirety of the KH series happens after it. I could see him not writing after the events of KH3 (assuming his keyblade is destroyed at the end) but he should be able to see all the events all the way through. And given that he can see all the way to when the Keyblade is destroyed he can reasonably assume that light is basically saved, since he should see that the future wielder of the blade is the big darkness guy and that he'll be defeated by all our favorite not final fantasy characters. 10. This entire video is completely unnecessary. It adds to the lore, sure. But it doesn't add anything meaningful. The five main people here are dead long before the events of DDD, the Master isn't seen in half the movie and never again in the entire series, and same for sir not appearing in this film (Luxu). And really it just adds a bunch more balls for the KH story to keep in the air. 11. Really, this comes across to me as a stalling/hyping tactic for KH3; and sure, it works, but there's an old phrase that goes, "Shit or get off the pot" and the time for Square Enix to shit was something close to a decade ago. Now that KH3 has been delayed for so long in favor of a million other products created to build hype for it, there's no way it will ever live up to said hype. I eagerly await its premier, but I'm keeping my expectations well tempered.
Jesus Quiroga Well first of all number 7 killed me. That was hilarious. Secondly all of this could lead to Kingdom Hearts 4 not KH3. KH3 could be the base of where this story is going. But it’s not going to close up all of this I don’t think. Thirdly, the dandelions are not seen through the series yes but we know they were there. The rebuilt the worlds. The grandmothers story says that the heart of children rebuilt the worlds, well those children were the dandelions. They kept the light safe. Fourthly, the Keyblade War was not started just because of the traitor, it’s main reason was because keyblade wielders fought over the light/Lux. They had their own goals for gathering lux. To protect it, to help summon Kingdom Hearts, to have greater strength, and to help summon their master back. Fifthly and most importantly, do you even like the story of Kingdom Hearts or are you just here to criticize it?
Ok, that helps A LOT!!! I forgot the grandmother's story from the first game, so that really fills me back in. And yes, indeed, I love this series. I'm a kid who grew up in a disney-loving household and I've had a deep love for games for almost as long as I can remember. So it's almost as if this game was made for me. But there are a lot of problems getting in the way of my excitement: 1. The games (along with all the story here) were spread over every console of the past (not exaggerating) 13 freakin' years; it's enough to give a guy a freakin' complex. And I know it's all on the PS4 now, but screw that, I'm not buying a completely new system for all that, I've already bought/played most of the games and I'm not about to spend another $3-400 bucks to do it all again, I'll just emulate it all on my PC (Legal, since I already own copies of all the games). 2. It's been 13 stinkin' years since KH2 came out and everyone was like "Yay, KH3's coming out soon!" Hence why I bought a PS3. Low and behold no new installment of the series came out on the darned thing when every other system, down to the mother-lovin' graphing calculator, got the love. Christ, it's almost like Square Enix and Tetsuyo Nomura are as allergic to the number three as Valve! (save for FF XIII-3, what in the world was that about?...) So my patience in this matter has been severely tested. 3. Every installment in the series is meant to build more story for KH3 that wasn't already establish and didn't need to be included. Why were Terra, Ventus and Aqua necessary BEFORE BBS came out? What's the significance of (not) being a Keyblade master when you've already saved the galaxy at least twice over? What's the point of all these non-Heartless/Nobody enemies other than story/keyblade fodder for a new game? Why is Org XIII now a bunch of Xehanorts now instead of a diverse cast of interesting characters (other than to justify keeping the plot going after beating Org XIII)? What in the world is the X-blade gonna be doing now, since no one but Xehanort seems to ever have cared about it? But now that they're there, that's more balls to keep in the air. It screams "We're making this up as we go along!" to me. 4. And the ending of KH2 would have been a good ending of for the series if not for the cliff-hanger ending of it. Plus, the "secret ending" of the game was a trailer for a wholly unnecessary game. Yes, I did like BBS; but you have to admit that, in regards to story, it didn't need to exist until it added a lot more crap to keep track of in KH3. 5. What games didn't add a lot of superfluous crap to the overall story was meant to either bank on the hype or build it for KH3. What was Recoded even about? Anyway, I have a deep-seated distrust of the hype machine, so I really can't get excited to it. 6. Was 0.2 even necessary? Was anyone really THAT curious about the stuff leading to the Keyblade war? I mean, from the moment I heard "Keyblade War" and that it happened a long time ago, I thought, "Well, that happened in the past and won't really affect anything from here on anymore." And I was right, it really doesn't affect anything outside its own thing and doesn't matter in the main thrust of the series. And why even introduce the Keyblade war? It really doesn't have anything to do with anything. If it's not obvious, I like storytelling that keeps its focus. A storyteller doesn't digress into side stories that don't affect the main plot for 13 years; ESPECIALLY WHEN THE MAIN PLOT ISN'T COMPLETE YET! 7. I realized rather recently that I'm just way too critical of everything now and I can't enjoy anything anymore.
I realized I didn't really cove many of your responses; my bad. Here goes: 1. "all of this could lead to Kingdom Hearts 4 not KH3. KH3 could be the base of where this story is going. But it’s not going to close up all of this I don’t think." Storytelling: finish the stuff you've already started before starting a new story! This isn't Arabian Nights, Square shouldn't be playing the Scheherazade to our Shahryar. Although, if that's what they're trying to do, then they beat Scheherazade, since she kept the king busy for only 1001 nights. 2. "the Keyblade War was not started just because of the traitor, it’s main reason was because keyblade wielders fought over the light/Lux. They had their own goals for gathering lux. To protect it, to help summon Kingdom Hearts, to have greater strength, and to help summon their master back." Plot: What's-his-face was gathering Lux so he could summon the Master (by summoning Kingdom Hearts) because he couldn't figure out who the traitor was. The other factions were gathering Lux because they were trying to balance out the power among their factions. So yes, the Keyblade war WAS completely started just because of the traitor sub-plot. Communication: All of this could have been resolved peacefully with just a little communication. "Hey guys, the mast gave me a page that we're all missing from our books. It's about someone betraying us. I got a plan: we just need to make sure all of our operations are fully visible to everyone else. This really shouldn't be a problem cause we're all basically on the same side." And/or later "hey, there's a traitor among us, it's my job to find who it is. Clearly I can't be relied upon to do this all myself, so we should all collaborate in some way." and finally "Ok, we can't figure out who the traitor is, let's try to find the master and ask him who it is. In the mean time, let's place limits on how much power we can all have so that we don't descend into a Lux arms-race (because for some reason acquiring Lux is a zero-sum-game)." 3. "the dandelions are not seen through the series yes but we know they were there. The rebuilt the worlds. The grandmothers story says that the heart of children rebuilt the worlds, well those children were the dandelions. They kept the light safe." Given how large the "Dandelions" group was, you'd think there'd be more keyblade wielders after the Keyblade war; especially considering how easy it is to pass on being able to wield a keyblade. The only keyblade wielders we know of are Eraqus, Xehanort and their descendants. Were the Dandelions told not to teach anymore keyblade wielders, or did the process of rebuilding these worlds kill all but a couple of these keyblade wielders?
Jesus Quiroga I know where you’re coming from. I’ve been with this game for 13 years also. My mom was a super Christrain so Disney was all I was allowed to watch at the time. And I’ll try to answer your questions 1. I don’t know anything about companies and businesses but the only reasons I see as to why they’d want to spread out the games onto different consoles is to spread their game around to other people. The ones that didn’t have a PlayStation 2 at the time and to make some extra money. Trust me I know how annoying that could be. I’ve bought every console and every game relating to Kingdom Hearts. I’ve played every last one of them, even the remakes, and I bought a PS4 just for KH3. I know that pain 2. At the time of when they said that Kingdom Hearts 3 was going to come out on PS3, originally it was going to. But Nomura didn’t like where the story was going and discontinued the whole idea. At least that’s what I heard. I was only 14 or at the time so KH news was limited to me. 3. I can’t get inside their heads. I don’t what they were thinking with new installments and new characters and adding more to the plot. I just know I’ve been enjoying every last minute of it. Kingdom Hearts was popular, they knew that. So they’ve been milking it. The more story the more profit. They are not looking to stop the story. They wanted to keep it going for a long time and they’ve succeeded. 4. They don’t want it to end. Who’d actually want to see an ending to this series? It’s been fun. Solving mysteries, having theories it’s all fun. BBS was for Kingdom Hearts 3. That’s the whole reason why it was created. Also I think the point around Terra, Aqua, And Ventus was because they wanted more keyblade wielders, more characters, and more story. 5. Recoded was just a side game and to let Mickey know that they’re is still a lot more problems and pain that needs to be mended 6. The point of the Keyblade war was to not only excite the fans but to give the main villain Xehanort a goal. Everything involving the Keyblade war is all tied to Xehanort. Introducing a villain that will want to start a war and finish it with him on top. I think it was brilliant idea. It got fans hyped for the idea and gave Xehanort and very important role. 7. And to help you with your criticizing problem you’re going through my response to that is you’re a smart guy, and you know some things aren’t worth focusing on too heavily on. Games are meant to be fun not make you think so much. Lol I mean who goes on a rollercoaster just to judge and criticize every bolt and screw out of place am I right? XD Nah, you just gotta sit back and try to enjoy the ride. That’s how I feel about the game that is

SaraAliciaCaster here's a theory for ya maybe it's xigbar ;0 think about it he even kinda sort of sounds and talks like him and he's got himself an eyepatch
Well I do I think let me help In the beginning all worlds was one world, like a Pangea of a world. Keyblade Wielders led by the Master of Masters protected the one world But he had foresight because his Keyblade No Name exists in the Future He foresaw the future Keyblade War and knew it was inevitable, so he prepared to safeguard the light He assigned his 5 apprentices certain roles Chief among them, Ava was assigned to create the Dandelion Union which would stay neutral and survive the Keyblade War The other apprentices fulfilled their roles in ways they didn’t suspect as they suspected eachother for being evil, making the Keyblade War a war between eachother The Keyblade War destroyed the world, splintering it into the multiverse Sora and the others lived in The Dandelions at Union Cross continued hunting Heartless to stablize the World, eventually being succeeded by the Keyblade Wielders of Scala at Caelum that protected the Multiverse Generations later Xehanort and Eraqus were apparently among the last generation of the Scala Ad Caelum Keyblade Wielders because by Birth By Sleep they and their students were among the last known Guardians of Light left, foreshadowing a great calamity may have happened to Scala Ad Caelum in the current Dark Roads game By then Master Xehanort seemed to be moved by the past to conduct a plan to save the world by rebuilding it with the x-blade He seemed to suffer tragedies that made him give up on the world which made him want to use kingdom hearts and the x-blade to set his ambitions So he in advance made a series of plans, which chief among them he starts a Keyblade War of his own, creating 13 versions of himself to fight against Seven Guardians of Light, and use the fallen’s Hearts as material to reforge the X-blade Then like Thanos in Marvel he would set a purge that’ll recreate the world in his own image In kh 3 Sora thwarted that plan at the cost of himself which also seemed to result in the Return of the Foretellers, save for Ava, who seemed to have been summoned to the Present, as Luxu was really Xigbar Now it seems the Master of Masters May return as a new conflict may occur
Luxu: So the Book of Prophecies... Master of Masters: Bingo! The fact that it exists is proof of your success. That means you've trained a worthy apprentice, passed down that handsome Keyblade, and fulfilled your role! Congratulations! Even if he probably is the real traitor here, its hard not to like the Master of Masters.
@@daniel_cornelio it might come out on 2030 or early then that after kingdom hearts an oath to return and when It comes out I hope sora doesn't die in the last game
You can play it without spending money. I haven't spent a dime yet. It's frustrating because they're much more stingy with jewels in the Global than the Japanese version, but it's still fully playable.
I've really been enjoying the game thus far, and it's been almost a year. I also haven't spent a single cent on the game, and I'm at Quest 425. I'm also super excited for the overhaul and update of the game very soon, which by pre-registering will currently give every play either 50 or 60 thousand Jewels just for pre-registering! I think it's doing a pretty good job for filling the time in between my KH cravings, and it costs me nothing!

It's adorable, Ava was definitely my favourite out of the 5.

I just found KHx man these are written far better when it’s focused on ACTUAL lore, not just “kingdom hearts, xehanort bad! Where’s Kairi and Riku?!”
This was created specifically as a movie, so thank God the writing is better...
Too bad the subject isn't. This movie is still garbage, it's just people talking about the series' lore and nothing being shown happening.
@Alex Marx how is my perfectly calm and reasoned criticism a temper tantrum?
you've done nothing to prove me wrong either.
Coming from someone who's been a fan since his childhood... I have no idea what's happening and why.

When 7 pure light and 13 seekers of darkness clashing. The Kingdom Hearts and Xblade is create.
yeah I got that from it as well, 7 people saving the world is (supposedly) exactly what we're going to get with 3.
And also the seven princesses of heart. With their pure light
so to sum up all of what the foretellers are doing "one often meets his Destiny on the road he takes to avoid it"

sadly they never reached the Keyblade War part of the story due to not having a default avatar for the player character who plays a very important role in the storyline and future planned storylines.
orrthehunter well... what if the Avatar is supposedly a misunderstood remembrance of a main character's memory?
And they remember after meeting Sora?
After all, I am still confused about the Maleficent scene from the game.
The scene was a indication of how much time has passed since the Keyblade wars since the Avatar survived the war but......
SPOILERS
The Avatar lost all his or her memory about the Keyblade war and events of Unchained due to Chirithy saving the Avatar by sending him or her into the Unchained. As a result he or she must retrain to regain all the skills and memories lost. Maleficent used the Unchained to have the Avatar relive his or her life in Unchained to find the Book of Prophecy thus the entire event of Unchained was that the Avatar was reliving his or her past so Maleficent can locate the Book of Prophecy since the Avatar was the only survivor of the Keyblade wars and knows the location of the Book of Prophecy.
orrthehunter Huh... well now I want (Insert Avatar) to be meet Sora...

SailorSetsuna its a unless movie and game
In the end, they only betray themself. A leader that fail to focus and focus only on lost page. A co-leader that only focus of becoming leader and think he is the righteous. A snake that fail to be mediator and cause more chaos. A leopard that cannot keep quiet and act normal. And the last - a fox that told not to be involved on something, but go to battlefield. They are failure at the first place. That is why the master chose them, because they can't keep their role. Maybe - - or at least that is what I think.
All of this can actually be avoided if they told each other about their respective roles, but i guess MoM asked them to make it a secret tho

He'll always be one of my favorites, but I can't help but admit that I think he has some issues with writing and framing stories.

plus Xehanort wasn't even alive back then, the Keyblade war happened hundreds of years ago
The Sammich Man remember though, in BBS he said he wanted to see it, if he was there then why would he say that he wanted to see the war, and if he had already seen it then why try to recreate it?

@@PGOuma, That’s gross man.
@@OriginalGameteer in Ux the MoM describes a world with .X. to the darkness that chided with him

Fun Fact: The Five Tellers, Luxu, and the Master of Masters, are all based on the Seven Deadly Sins.
The Master: Pride
Luxu: Lust
Gula: Gluttony
Invi: Envy
Aced: Sloth
Ava: Greed (aka, Avarice)
Ira: Wrathķ
Glad I'm not the only one who think like that!
yeah, a zoom to the black box shows that there's "Super" in the red heart of it.
Aced: _acedia_ meaning *Sloth*
Ava: _avaritia_ meaning *Greed*
Gula: _gula_ meaning *Gluttony*
Invi: _invidia_ meaning *Envy*
Ira: _ira_ meaning *Wrath*
Luzu: _luxuria_ meaning *Lust*
The only name not given is the Master of Masters who count himself as apart of group making 7.
I was always thinking this, it's very similar to a plot in Naruto where a weak looking idiot named Tobi ends up being the major supervillain.
Yeah he gets very intimidating when he wants to be.
"Silence traitor."
When the master of masters says money and the subtitles say money instead of 'munny' 😂😂
I feel like he's the type who is so disconnected from time due to seeing the future he could make pop culture references easily.
I guess you're right.
Luxu sure did a pretty good job at picking his apprentice worlds totally weren’t lost and consumed by the darkness
That was what the masters plan lol
well, the job was for the apprentice and those who came after keeping the keyblade. so, since they did, it was a good job
Plot twist : The Master of Masters is the traitor all along. Dun dun dun!!
I now thing the traitor is Darkness wearing one of the foretellers.
But what is in the box?
"My heart!"
But why?
He heh, you'll see!
MemoryOfDarkness I agree since he already gave him his eye
+isaac navarro So will someone give Sora his appendix? Since, you know, like his heart and eye, it wasn't really useful in the first place...
My guess he's a nobody which is why he's constantly bringing up him disappearing
Plus he knows everything that's going to happen
If that trunk has his heart and once it's open wouldn't he be resurrected and he may have bigger plans
Also he keeps planting the seed of a traitor
What if he's refering to himself
Hm... May your heart be your guiding key, what it means?
Well I mean that could make sense...

Is that a Just A Pancake reference?

For real? Aced and Knuckles have the same VA?
Nomura said"in kingdom hearts 3 we will reveal the content of the box"and we said"OK I BELIEVE YOU"
No he didn't

See KHX ending. Sadly....
SPOILERS
Ava dies in the keyblade war by the hands of the player character along with all other Union leaders. The only one to survive the Keyblade War is the Player character who wakes up sometime around KH2 and KH3 revealing he or she has memory loss about his or her past life as a Keyblade wielder during the Keyblade Wars and now must retrain to gain back those memories.
orrthehunter this isn't correct. at all.
To amend this information,

That moment you realize the Chirithies are actually Dream Eaters...(mind blown)
Voice actors for this movie:
Master of Masters(Black-hood figure): Ray Chase
Luxu: Max Mittelman
Ira: Matthew Mercer
Aced: Travis willingham
Invi: Karissa Lee Staples
Gula: Kevin Quinn
Ava: Isabella Moner
Ephemer: Michael Johnson
Chirithy: Lara Jill Miller
This is the best edition of mafia i've ever seen.

Nicole Ziege who would you trust during this whole thing?
why does the master of masters have such a young, trendy style of speaking?
The master of masters is freaakinnn DEADPOOL!!
I think mom wanted a keyblade war and he will be the next antagonist in the kingdom hearts saga

The box is labeled Xsuper, super for the only of the 7 sins not represented: pride (superbia). The Master's name is Xsuper.

He took over the body of Bragi, one of their classmates. Most likely cause he knew thats where the Gazing Eye was being kept so he could get it. Ok, a few things:
1. thanks for posting this. I'm an old fan of the KH series and a pc player, so obviously this movie wasn't gonna be available to me... Thank Square Enix, you guys really know how to get your games out to a wide audience... -.-
O.O Also, where are the parents, cause I'd like to imagine mom and dad say, "No Jimmy, you can't go outside and fight in the war today; you've got chores to do."
But there are a lot of problems getting in the way of my excitement:
Here goes:
1. "all of this could lead to Kingdom Hearts 4 not KH3. KH3 could be the base of where this story is going. But it’s not going to close up all of this I don’t think."
Storytelling: finish the stuff you've already started before starting a new story!
To protect it, to help summon Kingdom Hearts, to have greater strength, and to help summon their master back."
Plot: What's-his-face was gathering Lux so he could summon the Master (by summoning Kingdom Hearts) because he couldn't figure out who the traitor was.
In the mean time, let's place limits on how much power we can all have so that we don't descend into a Lux arms-race (because for some reason acquiring Lux is a zero-sum-game)."
3. "the dandelions are not seen through the series yes but we know they were there. The rebuilt the worlds. The grandmothers story says that the heart of children rebuilt the worlds, well those children were the dandelions. They kept the light safe."
Given how large the "Dandelions" group was, you'd think there'd be more keyblade wielders after the Keyblade war; especially considering how easy it is to pass on being able to wield a keyblade.
And I’ll try to answer your questions
1. I know that pain
5. Recoded was just a side game and to let Mickey know that they’re is still a lot more problems and pain that needs to be mended
That’s how I feel about the game that is
i agree with pretty much everything, been a long time fan since i was a kid, now 21 and hearing all the news and stuff, its kinda like 'meh' feeling.. sad to say but honest
18 minutes in
still want to see the masters face
SaraAliciaCaster here's a theory for ya maybe it's xigbar ;0 think about it he even kinda sort of sounds and talks like him and he's got himself an eyepatch
SaraAliciaCaster his Demyxie personality and his Axelie voice makes me think it's Demyx and Axel's baby XD
SaraAliciaCaster. he kinda gives me axel and xigbar vibes
@@thornofroses4250 No , he wear an eyepatch because Terra scratch him on his eyes
Fabrizio What about your theory now ? Haha
KH3 Brought me here... again... and still no clue... again...
Exactly.
Well I do I think let me help
In the beginning all worlds was one world, like a Pangea of a world.
Keyblade Wielders led by the Master of Masters protected the one world
But he had foresight because his Keyblade No Name exists in the Future
He foresaw the future Keyblade War and knew it was inevitable, so he prepared to safeguard the light
He assigned his 5 apprentices certain roles
Chief among them, Ava was assigned to create the Dandelion Union which would stay neutral and survive the Keyblade War
The other apprentices fulfilled their roles in ways they didn’t suspect as they suspected eachother for being evil, making the Keyblade War a war between eachother
The Keyblade War destroyed the world, splintering it into the multiverse Sora and the others lived in
The Dandelions at Union Cross continued hunting Heartless to stablize the World, eventually being succeeded by the Keyblade Wielders of Scala at Caelum that protected the Multiverse
Generations later Xehanort and Eraqus were apparently among the last generation of the Scala Ad Caelum Keyblade Wielders because by Birth By Sleep they and their students were among the last known Guardians of Light left, foreshadowing a great calamity may have happened to Scala Ad Caelum in the current Dark Roads game
By then Master Xehanort seemed to be moved by the past to conduct a plan to save the world by rebuilding it with the x-blade
He seemed to suffer tragedies that made him give up on the world which made him want to use kingdom hearts and the x-blade to set his ambitions
So he in advance made a series of plans, which chief among them he starts a Keyblade War of his own, creating 13 versions of himself to fight against Seven Guardians of Light, and use the fallen’s Hearts as material to reforge the X-blade
Then like Thanos in Marvel he would set a purge that’ll recreate the world in his own image
In kh 3 Sora thwarted that plan at the cost of himself which also seemed to result in the Return of the Foretellers, save for Ava, who seemed to have been summoned to the Present, as Luxu was really Xigbar
Now it seems the Master of Masters May return as a new conflict may occur
Hallo bang Jooomers ketemu lagi wkwkwkkw meskipun gk bakal di reply sih wkwkkw 😂
The box contains his collection of yugioh cards
Just Letting u guys know that Ira has the same eng va as Yusuke Kitagawa and Luxu has the same eng va as Ryuji Sakamoto
Joseph Ebuen OMG!!!!
For real?
what
Luxu: So the Book of Prophecies...
Master of Masters: Bingo! The fact that it exists is proof of your success. That means you've trained a worthy apprentice, passed down that handsome Keyblade, and fulfilled your role! Congratulations!
Even if he probably is the real traitor here, its hard not to like the Master of Masters.
What if the master of masters is the real antagonist and he'll probably be the next final boss in kingdom hearts 4
I think so too, mom is the real antagonist un kingdom hearts
@@daniel_cornelio if the master of masters is the real antagonist then he's got to be the final boss in the last kingdom hearts game
@@jumperthehedgehog2932 yeah probably that game comes out un 2030 jajaja
@@daniel_cornelio it might come out on 2030 or early then that after kingdom hearts an oath to return and when It comes out I hope sora doesn't die in the last game
This makes me wanna play Kingdom Hearts Unchained X, although it's such a Cash Cow I'm conflicted about that.
you can watch the full story called Kingdom Hearts X on youtube now and see how the story ends. Unchained X is just the mobile version of KHX.
I think it's doing a pretty good job for filling the time in between my KH cravings, and it costs me nothing!
i hope we can have that monopoly mini game from bbh in unchain
Look up UA-cam user Everglow.
