Not only in relation to foreign affairs (particularly re the Middle East) , but also more broadly the topics he chooses to opine on, but has absolutely no knowledge of! I don't know if he realizes, but he often sounds like a mouthpiece for the US Govt! Just because he is an ex intel officer, I think it's silly for the podcasters and the viewers to assume he's an expert or has insider info on every subject!

@@wolfgang-franzkranek6146 > Jay Dyer rocks, he gives great coverage to Dave McGowan’s Laurel Canyon book which paints a pretty fair picture that CIA/intel was behind alot/most of the ‘60s hippy counterculture & music.
Also don’t forget what Gov. Jesse Ventura related upon his first day in office when he was summoned to a basement interrogation meeting with a CIA crew that demanded to know how the fuck he got into office because they had not sanctioned it; most of the CIA operatives present there were ‘normal’ members of local society i.e. librarian, clerk, dentist, store manager, etc.
When Andrew Bustamante stated that it couldn’t be CIA involved with P-Diddy’s empire because the CIA charter does not allow them to operate on USA soil I burst out laughing,

I’m from California and knew about Puff before I ever seen him. However, I’ve never been a fan of Puffy but one thing you will never hear even his enemies say is that he wasn’t smart. From Puffs early days at Howard University they said his business acumen was impeccable and unmatched and nobody worked harder than him on his craft to become who he became in the industry. From throwing the biggest college parties in the city, the clubs, and having a relationship with radio etc.. He wasn’t put in charge of Bad Boy he work his way up in Uptown Records until he was fired for creative differences which lead him to get the money to start BadBoy from Arista Records. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Black shirt is making this personal.

Puffy's father was in business and connected to Frank Lucas, the figure portrayed by Denzel Washington in American Gangster. There's nothing coincidental about Puffy's rise to fame. A key aspect often overlooked is the fear he commands. I believe his encounters and observations of Suge Knight in the '90s shaped this persona. Numerous stories circulate about Puffy asserting his power; after all, his label is called Bad Boy. His narrative of success seems orchestrated. Essentially, Puffy was constructed-similar to a fraternity recruit willing to do anything to belong. Puffy was willing to do anything for power and wealth. One could surmise that he got a lot of his connections from engaging in these acts early on, but later became a mediator for those with the true wealth and power. Basically, playing the role of a powerful male Madame
