For those who don't understand portuguese, at minute 18:12 , you can hear a portuguese fisherman complaining because he is occupying the fishing spot, here everyone can see the sad mentality of many portuguese fishermen who think they own the places. and they do this only and exclusively because they see him taking fish because they are envious. I'm Portuguese and I'm ashamed of these people and I took the effort to write this in English so that all those who watch the video and read the comments have an idea of the sad mentality of these people
Great sport again, I'd like to think we'd get some species'like the spotted bass here in Cornwall in the next few years as the climate is unfortunately changing, we're seeing a lot of what were once rare visitors to our shores in increasing numbers. Look forward to the big autumn swells arriving here in Cornwall. Regards Chris.
Instant sub!!! Great video, that looked like a hell of lot of fun! Recently had our yearly 2-week stay near Hayle, in Cornwall. Family holiday, so didn't even attempt to get all the fishing in I desired, but had some great sport on the Ballan Wrasse up by Godrevy lighthouse! No luck on the lures tho, searching for those glorious Cornish bars of silver! Great news is that we have finally actually taken the plunge, after 20 years procrastinating, and are likely moving down in the next month or two. Any idea what the fishing is like up around Boscastle? So excited!!!!
@@lurefishingfromtheshore-gr8270 Ha! I heard your accent, saw your Bass skill, and presumed, Yep, defo Cornish! 😆 😅 😂 🤣 The lures and rod, you were using also warrant further investigation. Them cheeky locals tho, you dealt with them like a Boss, Sir!
Hi Grant Amazed how well the rod cast's 15g considering I've watched you punch out 50-70g , are you still using a swivel between the braid and leader & is this just a personal choice or have you lost bigger fish due to a braid to leader knot i.e FG, SC knots, ?
Yes its handy to be able to cast 15g one minute change spot and whack out a 70g lure or more. In Central America I cast 15g lures close to the rocks for snapper and 130g Fat minnows to the Rooster with it
Basically as I was catching lots of fish he wanted to stand in the same spot as me 😁 like it would make a difference. One of the guys was ok after and asked me about the lures!
@@lurefishingfromtheshore-gr8270 I fishing on one of the beaches out there and an old guy came and said something that sounded unpleasant to me, I smiled at him and waved in a friendly way, then he walked off about five meters, pulled down his trousers and had a dump on the sand in front of me 😂😂. Didn't wipe or bury it. Reckon it was good luck, as I caught my first Portugese bass shortly after...
Cracking bass to finish the session off. Great videos grant keep them coming 👍🏼
Thanks, yes was a great start and finish to the long weekend with 2 doubles! Couldnt have asked for better!
