It's not about age, it's about the place where you live, even in such a small country like Czech Rep. people's behaviour is very different in each part, in Prague is probably the worst type. Whut? Young Czechs hate Russians? I was in CZ many times and even lived for abt 1 year and I see young Czechs pretty open-minded and I was never blamed for the 1968 or communism. Some older czechs hate when you arrogantly expect them to speak russian right away but that's it.
Yes we are very open minded, but we also have some essential principals and not liking russians is one of them.... And yes we do very arrogantly react when russians expect we might even understand a bit of russian.. I know a young guy working in the tourism industry very often with belarussians and learnt basics of Belarussian to avoid speaking in russian, but the problem is that Belarussians dont speak Belarussian, so it often lead to humorous situations, mostly the Belarussian people bursted out laughing, but thats a more complex problem of language in Belarus
LOL that young Czech is crazy. If you work for tourism/real estate things like that are just stupid it's business after all. I understand that some people hate when you are ignorant and expecting them to speak to you in russian language but it's natural people hate also when my american friends speak english in France for example. I speak czech for basic conversations and english for more complex ones and never felt young Czechs not liking me for being russian LOL. Never had any problem with young Czechs.
It is quite nonsense to hate germans and russians people because what they did to us in the past. Then we should also hate states like France, UK, Poland and even Slovakia for betraying us in 1938 but i think that ordinary czech people will never rely on states of Western Europe plus Russia or Poland because we always ment nothing for them and we always will.

Is wery important to know one thing. Who visit just Prague, Cesky Krumlov never been in Czech Republic. When You visit Vegas, LA, NY You never been in USA becouse this locations are not mirrors of the country.

it's true about Czech guys being well endowed, I lived there for 10 years and have a good sampling and I can concur. also they really don't take foreign women seriously as a long term partners.
I was born In Czechia. Some of us are into women from other countries. I think there is no border for love. Since I was a young boy, I only pictured myself with a woman from Latin America, and now I am in Mexico - living with mexican woman.

I really like your video about us Czech man. But not all Czech man are same, some of us prefer to be without woman or find woman from Poland or Slovakia. Here in Moravia some of us like Russians and Germans becouse we have there somebody from family who lived there or we are blood relatives to them.

Very nice videos.... Me personally (I am czech) and I lived abroad as well can say that women / men in general characteristics are quite similar everywhere.... In the end everyone wants just to have a good relationship/family etc. regardless of the nationality. I was dating just czech/slovak women though - slovak is my wife :-) and we met/ start to date while we were living in Spain actually. So as you can see it really does not matter where you are - I end up dating Slovak (which is not really foreign for czechs) in Spain while I knew some other czech guys/girls who were dating either Spanish or other nationalities there. So it's hard to generalize about the typical characteristics nevertheless your video is well done imho. I watched the one about Spanish men/women (as I understand spanish) and not to my surprise it's similar everywhere :-).

About marrying foreigner or not - Actually I think it all depends on the place where you live. In Prague it's more and more common to date foreigner as there are more and more people living here permanently from different countries. In the countryside it is less common as there are not many foreigners living permanently . So it's more about opportunities. Of course Czechs living abroad are naturally dating other nationalities.....It's quite expected result. I do not think Czechs are different than others in this :-). I think czechs like to travel a lot so comparing to the size of the population - Czechs in general are big lovers of outdoor and they travel a lot around the world now - our parents could not travel so much so new generations after 1989 are really travelling around the world a lot. But as I wrote - I do not watch videos primarily because of factual information - I like vlogs for emotional/entertaining reasons :-). And you do a great job - I feel you enjoy doing those vlogs and it shows off in videos :-)

"Shaky national identity??" - not in the least! It is strong. Czechs and their language have survived through centuries of occupations! The title of Our national anthem is not "Where is my home?" -as it is presented in this video and often misrepresented by Czechs themselves. It is an affirmative declarative: "Where my home is...." - Kde domov muj, voda huci po lucinach = Where my home is, water runs in the meadows..... And yes, Czechs have a very particular feeling about and attitude towards the Germans and Russians which has been shaped by their role in the Czech national history.

My friend used to play this one on acoustic guitar in a bar in Manchester UK. And it was one of the best times I had there (as a czech), with all the British regulars singing along (something that only resembled czech language), because he did this every friday.
I was born in Czech Republic. All my girlfriends were mexican because I live in Mexico. We are quite different among us, you can't draw a general stereotype. All of us aren't only into czech women, and not all of us are into meaningful relationships. And yes almost all of us are into mom's cooking, it's something important for us - good, tasty food and beer.

"Nationality" is the thing, you have written in your passport. It changes almost as easily, as girls hair-colour. And did not tell anything about the properties of the man/woman, wich are talking about it. Experience in said society is getting little bit warmer, but experiences of someone VISIBLY "different" need to BE different, and if you are telling otherwise, you lie. And still, each of old continets does have prevalent "look" of people born there. The "look" itself is almost as decieving as "nationality", but MOST of living people does better see, than think. Or at least restrain him/her-self.

Yes, there are some people who hate muslims for no reason, but I'd say it's kinda rare to see them shout at you in public. Others are like me. I judge everyone individually based on their behavoir (even though it's hard for me, because I'm gay and muslims usually do horrible things to my kind).

My family and I visited 3 other countries before arriving to Prague. We had horrible experiences in this city. The Old Town was filled with way too many people and the restaurants were super expensive. The waiters are unfriendly and in a rush. Overall the city itself is filled with unfriendly and unhelpful people. Rather visit other welcoming cities. Was crap rude people not a lot to do to be fair and not very nice places to see as people go on about wouldn't date waste my money and time again in this place
I don't like people from Prague and I'm Czech. You won't meet those in other citites, at least not so often... To be honest, really HUGE amount of people from Czech Republic don't like people from Prague, almost everybody.
You met city babies ,the good Czech men likes guns,ice hockey,football,ski,beer,good food....so thruth is if you cannot cook you are out of choice.It is old-fashioned mind but is working.

I was born in Czech Republic. All my girlfriends were mexican because I live in Mexico. We are quite different among us, you can't draw a general stereotype. All of us aren't only into czech women, and not all of us are into meaningful relationships. And yes almost all of us are into mom's cooking, it's something important for us - good, tasty food and beer.

"Nationality" is the thing, you have written in your passport. It changes almost as easily, as girls hair-colour. And did not tell anything about the properties of the man/woman, wich are talking about it. Experience in said society is getting little bit warmer, but experiences of someone VISIBLY "different" need to BE different, and if you are telling otherwise, you lie. And still, each of old continets does have prevalent "look" of people born there. The "look" itself is almost as decieving as "nationality", but MOST of living people does better see, than think. Or at least restrain him/her-self.

Hey! :) Since I'm from Czech republic, I can answer your question. I think that Czechs are kinda divided on this issue, but most of them won't be rude if you stay polite and respect our law. Yes, there are some people who hate muslims for no reason, but I'd say it's kinda rare to see them shout at you in public. Others are like me. I judge everyone individually based on their behavoir (even though it's hard for me, because I'm gay and muslims usually do horrible things to my kind).

My family and I visited 3 other countries before arriving to Prague. We had horrible experiences in this city. The Old Town was filled with way too many people and the restaurants were super expensive. The waiters are unfriendly and in a rush. Overall the city itself is filled with unfriendly and unhelpful people. Rather visit other welcoming cities.
Was crap rude people not a lot to do to be fair and not very nice places to see as people go on about wouldn't date waste my money and time again in this place
I don't like people from Prague and I'm Czech. You won't meet those in other citites, at least not so often... To be honest, really HUGE amount of people from Czech Republic don't like people from Prague, almost everybody.
