I doubt Lexus will sell the GX550 Overtrail in Taiwan. Official Toyota/Lexus dealership in Taiwan don't even sell the current 4Runner, GX460 or the LC300 there. You'd have to get it from the grey import market which will mark up the prices even more. Plus $30k USD is like a good annual salary in Taiwan, most Taiwanese don't even make that much yearly. Who'd want to spend their annual income on a depreciating asset? Cars in Taiwan are overpriced due to import taxes. Compare to the same car in North American (US for example), you can buy the same car for 25% to 40% less.
