The Vector is definitely very far away from a "typical" synth and requires a bit of time to get used to and rethink things.
It is therefore less suitable for bread and butter sounds. But I have rarely experienced a tool that makes it so much fun to explore sound worlds and constantly be surprised. The hours fly by.
