- For my first time ever I am traveling to Erbil Kurdistan (Iraq) with my friend @YadVenturess who is actually originally from Kurdistan. In this video, I fly from Milwaukee Wisconsin all the way to Erbil and take you with on my journey. We check into our hotel over at the Ankawa Royal Hotel: bit.ly/ankawar...
And then we walk around the streets in this area to find a sim card and get invited for some tea. It was a nice introduction into this place before we start exploring in the upcoming vlogs.
This is 1 video of the 20+ videos from my UA-cam vlog series about my time in Kurdistan and Iraq, you can find the entire playlist of videos here: • KURDISTAN (IRAQ) 🇮🇶

I love Kurdistan, it’s a beautiful country I spent 3 years travelling recently. Make sure to check out Zakho and the various mountain ranges, rivers. If you are still there and need to link up with someone then let me know.
It is very beautiful, I am very excited to share the content from here ! I will try and check out as many of those places as I can.
Kurdistan isn't a country though 😂😂
@@mikeletterst9882 iraqi lier with American fake account 😂😂. bad news is u have to get (iqama) for kurdistan 🥺

Ji Rojava Kurdistan 💛❤️💚
I feel like this is so brave of you to visit so many places and I'm glad you seem to always know someone. As a woman it is a scary thought to travel alone, but otherwise sounds and looks so fun.
The world is such a beautiful place and I believe all places in the world have good and evil and hopefully my journeys through these lesser known places can help share things that the media does not include. The culture, the experiences and so much more!
I am so excited to see what you are going to discover in Iraq. If you go to Mosul, you have to go to the museum. My grandfather was the Mayor of that city in the 1950s and he owned a village nearby...I had seen it more than 50 years ago...I would love to see you film it!
It is such a cool place, I am enjoying the time here visiting and exploring! I will try to visit Mosul too. So cool that your father was the mayor back then, I hope to make it there!
I can't wait for more videos..
Glad you made it there safely.
Thanks Carl! Lots more to come!
Awesome content. We Lebanese love Iraqis. ❤️😻
Thanks so much! Had such an amazing experience in Lebanon and I am really enjoying my time over here in Iraq/Kurdistan!
I do my best to keep opinions of religious, political, ethnic views or anything out of my content as it is important for me to have a community where people from all backgrounds feel welcome and comfortable to view my content. I appreciate you watching my content 🙏

im convinced you were just saying random arabic words to the taxi driver 😂
😂😂😂 doing a typical greeting, but got a little lost as I am not used to the accents here
@@worldnomac bro, we don’t speak Arabic. Our language is kurdish, so it’s better to speak English.
Iraqi proper began issuing visa on arrival to 30+ countries on March 15, 2021. Visa on arrival in Baghdad cost me $77. I toured Baghdad and southern Iraq for 2 weeks (American Passport). Iraqi Kurdistan is technically Iraq, but it’s a safe, autonomous region. Visit Iraqi proper. Visit the central marshlands and the Shia militia controlled Samarra. Then you can say you have visited Iraq.
It was a no go zone before, Was it safe? And are Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan really that different?
its not a competition bruh
I already miss Fuad! Best from Chile.
I miss him too!!
Iraq is gorgeous 👌
I agree, it was spectacular 🙏
THANK YOU VERY MUCH . THANK YOU IRAK .GOD BLESS YOU .
I àm literally holidaying lying at home unwell watching your travel in dear IRAQ. Fascinating as I love Iràq.
I hope you get well soon 🙏🏻 Iraq is an amazing place indeed 😁
I used to drive to Erbil from Mosul back in 2004-5 with the US Army. The city was in far better condition than other cities in Iraq back then, really a day and night difference along with Dohuk and Zakho - good to see the Kurds have improved it even more. Great video.
welcome to Erbil! very nice video✌u better come taste my icecreamrolls in Mrf4- 100 street😁

Wow! Unlimited internet for a month only for 12$. Here in Saudi Arabia it cost me more than 100$ for the same bundle but 5G.

There's few hostel/hotel at Citadel around $20-25/ night on a budget or other Western hotels for $80 to more expensive hotels.

I know the timing is off from posting a video to where you actually are, but you’ve been out of Lebanon a while. I just posted on your last video about the power outage the other day in Lebanon, but I guess you had been home……lol. Oh home, Milwaukee? Thought you mentioned in a video you’re from Chicago. BTW, You look like your Dad.
This video was filmed October 3 so they are delayed abut 1 week from posting as it’s a tremendous amount of work to post a daily vlog so the only way I’ve been able to manage it is delay them a little bit
Im from kurdistan
Welcome
Welcome to heaven!
Not like the old days☹️
Kurdistan ❤️
Beautiful place!! ❤️
Visiting for few days and weeks is nice but I be honest with you life there not easy.

You should visit lalish. Lalish is an amazing place in North Iraq.
اسمها كردستان مو شمال العراق ❤️
I visited it and have a vlog coming very soon ❤️❤️
Great content man! Wanna go to Erbil as well after seeing this. If you are covid vaccinated , do they require a pcr test as well or does a vaccine do?
Thank you man, I always recommend to get a PCR test even if you are vaxxed because some of the airports in Iraq and Kurdistan still want the test even if youre vaxxed
Alright understood. Thanks for the clarification man 😃
A lot of arabs and Bangladeshi people have moved to Erbil which is why you don’t get a lot of kurdish speaking people. Big diversity
لماذا لم تزر مدينة الموصل فهي حضارة اشور
You are welcome also try to Come to the south and the west of Iraq
Baghdad and karbala and Najaf
😍
Maybe soon! Thank you
Welcome ❤️
Much love ❤️
Am iraqi and please can you go to Baghdad

Show us their shawarma’s and compare them to everything you’ve tried🥰🥰🥰
Yes, I will have to take you all with me on a shawarma tour 😍😍
Oh man, I was really enjoying watching the video but it froze from 21:57.
The taxi driver asked why you are in erbil, are you traveling or are you here for business etc.
Mac, make sure you place your back up always with you in the front.
Looking forward to seeing your videos now in ERBIL. Be safe and enjoy.

Thanks for the feedback will do my best Sonia. I am glad you are looking forward to my videos, I have a lot of videos coming out from this region of the world!

Need to make a trip to Syria too at some point inshallah yallah!
@@worldnomac Gosh, was thinking the same this morning - said to my self if ever asked why, the Halloumeh cheese in Damascus is luscious. Yet the history, will be rebuilt and replicated by experts, so hold that though.
Not Iraq just kurdistan
Did you have to quarantine when you arrived there or did you just need a PCR test?
Nice
Thanks!!
This person who sell you a sim card should have to give you a korek telecom sim card and it well work in all country
Just curious - are you visiting Erbil for work or simply for fun?
I left my corporate job about 2 years ago to become a travel film maker (youtube vlogger) and this is my job to explore and make videos about the world. So it is a mix of both to answer your question.
Hi from the Philippines
Hiiiii! ❤️
Awesome video. Did you need a Covid test?
And I read they are back to lock down (11th Oct) or did this not apply?
are that still a thing
Yes you need a negative PCR to enter
@@worldnomac thanks
Hi , can you please tell if PCR test required from UK to ERBIL?
Many thanks
COVID regulations are constantly changing so I suggest checking the local laws at the time you're visiting to make sure :))
i seen AK at hotel😅
Yes they keep us safe and protected :)
Will you be going to Baghdad ?
I went to Baghdad!! 😉❤️
your dad looks like a native american. wheres Luke?

Are you visit Baghdad in last days?
I went to Baghdad my friend!
That time you spent in Lebanon taught you some arabic so you know your way around iraq
Yes it helped, I still need to learn more words!
Except hes in Kurdistan so shouldnt even be speaking arabic its like going france speaking German
@@Gutians some kurds do speak arabic so its better than nothing
@@blast6190 and some iraqi arabs speak Kurdish so does that mean when he goes Baghdad he should speak Kurdish?
@@Gutians why not ?

Was a pcr test needed to go to erbil?
I recommend checking the local laws at the time you're visiting, because COVID regulations always change all time time :))
