Jasmine Mays Trusted God for a New Job and She Got It!

- Jasmine Mays, a Partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries, began trusting God for a job in her field of accounting. She had received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from University of Nevada Las Vegas and had begun working for a large, well-known firm. The company gave her and the other recruits two years to pass the CPA exam and be invited to join one of the company’s teams.
As Jasmine’s two years drew to an end, she prepared to take her CPA exam, but she had yet to be invited to join the company. As the only minority and the only Christian, she found herself in a lonely position.
“I remember sitting in [my] office hiding from people,” she said. “I didn’t want anyone to see me or know that no [team] wanted to pick me.”
To keep herself strong, Jasmine began listening to messages by Kenneth Copeland and Billye Brim. “I started having a regular diet of the Word of God every single day-listening, learning on a daily basis, letting everything go in. Sometimes I wasn’t even paying attention to what was being said, because I was working, but just I knew my spirit was feeding. And I really think that helped carry me through the whole situation.”
Jasmine decided to make a list of everything she was trusting God for in her new job. She wanted: flexibility, a good salary, excellent benefits, a boss she respects and a positive work environment. She made the list and prayed over it, trusting that God would give her the perfect job. And that’s exactly what the Lord did!

I have done the same thing 13 months ago. Writing out the job I wanted and adding scriptures and having my partners pray in agreement with me. Finally landed a temporary full time job that will end next month. My heart keeps going back to a job I interviewed twice for and was told I was still in the running for. Months later I have not heard back from them. I watched this and am encouraged to keep standing therefore until I get what I am standing there for. When they played the clip of Brother Jerry, I stood with my hands up to receive his prophesy over those needing a job.
This gives me hope for my work situation!
Awww her story is so heart breaking. I can't believe she had to go through that, people can really be awful but glory be to god. Jesus came through for her which is just amazing. Such a heartwarming and amazing beautiful end to a cruel story. Praise Jesus
This has uplifted my spirit. I'm currently working a job where I'm undervalued and where there isn't room for growth. I've been praying for a new job for a few months now and I'm trusting God to bless me beyond my wildest expectations!
