It’s not just this one judge who let this criminal go, it’s all the judges sitting on the bench every day who give too many chances to these criminals. This man really shot and killed a deputy over a traffic stop just to avoid a ticket, citation or well the Deputy just wanted to speak with him but clearly this man wasn't in the correct state of mind luckily he was stopped and can't hurt nobody no more especially having a gun clearly shows he doesn't care and he shouldn't of been out never honestly

When are we really going to do something with these courts and judges around the country besides just talking about it? Of course, "we the people" might come to a point where we elect different persons that fill these positions. Just an idea.
State district court judges are elected but many run unopposed.
To a certain degree, I get the bail part prior to sentencing. As a judge anyway. But once that person (who is a three strike menace to society) spat on the judge's leniency by not showing up for the hearing, I can't believe the bail was granted again. In this situation specifically, the judge should be impeached. Not only did the Officer lose his life, the person she tried to give a "break" to is also dead. Thanks a lot judge.

California judges have Absolute Immunity. Meaning they can't be held civilly liable for the decisions they make. In other words, nothing can be done.

Once you run a plate and it comes back as being a felon... It's wise to call for back up before you approach the vehicle. Unless of course the plate was under another person's name. Very sad situation. Our judges are making it hard on law enforcement by allowing criminals to walk the streets.
