Aw, thank you so much! These types of tasks in grooming are a bit more intense, so thank you so much for understanding what it takes! Appreciate your kindness! 🐾💕
You are so good and thorough. That poor dog hardly even has the teeth to chew his food correctly. I’m trying to do my own poodle grooming and finding it pretty difficult. But I’m pushing on thanks to your videos and skills. I’m so not sure how I should be doing my standard poodles ears. I have been just using my fingers with a little powder and getting what I can. I can’t get myself to use hemostats and getting the hair from down deeper. ✌️👍🇺🇸. Thanks again for sharing your dedication of doing a great job.
Hi John, aw, thank you for your kindness! And kudos to you for working with your Poodle. I know that it's a bit of a challenge to start, but with time and practice, I'm sure you will do great! I'm glad you brought up ear hair plucking, because out of all the subjects in grooming, this is the one that has the most controversial videos with all sorts of misinformation and incorrect procedures. My best pieces of advice on plucking ear hair: 1) Don't worry about plucking *everything* - only what comes out easily. We just want to make sure the canal is not blocked, 2) Hemostats are a bit intense. Instead of plucking, I actually use tweezers and take less strands at a time so that they pet doesn't feel any discomfort. Here's what I use as tweezers: ua-cam.com/video/xADWl5Bh6lg/v-deo.htmlsi=8PfVVYsKuO_0Q9BX. 3) Don't go deep into the canal - you can get what you need from plucking the strands where they are visible. Just in case you haven't run into it on the channel, here's more of a demo on ear hair plucking. ua-cam.com/video/xADWl5Bh6lg/v-deo.htmlsi=8PfVVYsKuO_0Q9BX Hope that helps, and thanks so much for joining the channel!
Very informative video, yes, I have to do this with 1 of my havanese, he has a bit of a deformity of his jaw, but clean it as I see it accumulates, daily if needs be. Great video Gina!
Hi Dotty, thank you so much for sharing your story! It really helps to know other owners are dealing with the same thing. Your little Hav is blessed to have such a caring family; thanks so much for your comment! 🙏🥰
Thank you ! I have had my dog for almost 7 years already and a week ago I realized a crust around her mouth and I did not know what it was or how to get rid of it , thanks for showing me :)
So glad it helped! 💕🐾 I have to share that the owners of the dog in the video recently changed his diet to soft food only - and the crust no longer builds up! Good luck with your girl, and thanks 4 watching!
Thanks so much! So, for working thru this build-up, I'm using a shampoo called Face Off: amzn.to/48uzSVZ. But for daily maintenance wiping, you can use a cloth with warm water or use wipes designed for the eyes or face: amzn.to/3UuN87i. Oh, and just to share, the client of the dog in the video changed his food to wet only, and he no longer has build-up! Hope that helps and good luck!
so gentle and patient. all of your clients are in heaven mode during grooming.😇

Hi, thank you so much! And yes, his happiness was palpable (which made me feel great - once we got thru the mess!) Appreciate your kind comment! 🙏🐾
