- IT'S MY FIRST TIME AT DISNEYLAND PARIS! Today I share my first impression of Disneyland Paris, and share my opinion about visiting the park right now. We celebrate Disney Land Paris's 30th Anniversary with parades and there new Drone show Disney D-Light.

Fun fact: Disney Dreams was the FIRST ever Disney castle night-time show to include projections, fireworks, lasers and water features all together. It originally made its debut in 2012 for Disneyland Paris's 20th Anniversary - at the time, every other Disney park still had traditional firework shows like Wishes. Shows like Happily Ever After later took inspiration from Disney Dreams :)

Disneyland Paris looks amazing! Their Big Thunder Mountain is insane, and that fireworks show...So magical!

Both the princesses gathered together at the end of the parade and the tangled scene of the fireworks show tackled me in my feels. Ooooof. You should've put a cry warning in the title.
For real though, I have multiple chronic illnesses and medical equipment that would make traveling to Paris to visit the parks, very hard, so I highly doubt I would ever get to visit. I could feel the magic through the screen while watching this! Thank you for sharing your trip with us! Watching this is the next best thing to being there.

Wow, those fireworks were the best I have ever seen with all the lighting and water effects. Such an amazing show.
It's called Disney Dreams. It was featured way back in 2012. DLP brought it back for the 30th Aniversary.

Just left DLP today and this is my new favorite Disney park. The classic rides are upgraded and more intense. I love the atmosphere.
Hey JoJo, am I wrong or have you been able to celebrate the anniversaries at Disney World’s 50th, Disneyland’s 100th, Disneyland Paris 30th and Disneyland Tokyo’s 40th? That alone is a great accomplishment!👏👏

If you want to experience what it's like to be in DLP in Fall/Winter Season (Peak Season) Go for it.
The Foods/Snacks are not great
I'd recommend you to visit during Summer Season. Less crowd

I was waiting for this! I love the 30th anniversary parades and the fireworks at DLP sooo so much!!!! The Peter Pan show makes me cry everytime 🥹🥹💖 glad you two had fun there, i miss the park so much and watching your vlog made me feel like i‘ve been back there for a little while, thank you for that!
Fun Fact: The „Disney Dreams“ fireworks show was made for the 20th anniversary of the park and got repleaced by „Illuminations“ since 2017, so it‘s so special to have this amazing show back in the park! It always makes me cry 🥹💖

Hi JoJo, oh that was so cool to watch 😍 I just love seeing yours & Jete's happy faces in my home park. I'm a massive fan of Disneyland Paris , I love everything about it. And that 30th Dream & Shine Brighter Show is just phenomenal , no-one wants it to end really. The characters, dancers, music & just the vibe is so uplifting and infectious. Thrilled that you got to ride BTM in the evening too. And those night shows with drones & fireworks are very special. Mickey saying goodnight at the end is the cutest thing ever! Thanks guys 🤩

The parade look is inspired by steampunk. Its the 25th anniverary parade, we didnt get a new one for the 30th, just dream and shine brighter which is a parade/ show. Dlp tends to do those to make use of the 4 stages on central plaza. The one fir princess and pirares season a few years back was the best. I got lost once in the maze, went out the wrong way and couldnt find the exit. Dlp is great for parades, shows and fireworks. The only miss they had was the frozen parade they had after frozen 2 came out.

You saw the end of ‘shine brighter’ which is the 30th anniversary stage show. The characters travel down main street to the hun and then do a show.

For the labyrinth, the queen used to go up over the wall, lean a bit foward and scream over people. But it has been YEARS since she did not work. And since then, she never worked as intended. So you are lucky to see her move a bit XD
Disneyland Paris was always on my low end of priorities to visit of all the Disney Parks. Only the dragon had caught my interests before, but after that night show, I may need to visit sooner than expected ;)

It definitely is, park is small but some fun rides. Handily close to us in the UK too.
People are supposed to only smoke in designated areas but the French don't really care...

I was there in ‘94 as a teen so it was brand new then. I don’t remember anything you’ve shown. I remember staying in a southwest themed hotel and there was a downtown Disney type of area and we were in a country bar/restaurant. That’s pretty much the extent of my memory. I really need to go back with my son!

The Alice's Labyrinth, the animatronics pop upwards and then angle themselves to look at you. Due to exposure to the elements (ice, snow, rain), most don't work.

We were there in April for the first time ever in a disney park. I'm 43 and I want so bad going back. I'm from germany, and my biggest wish is to go to an American disney Park to galaxys edge.
It's a shame we Europeans don't a Galaxy Edge. I heard it's suspended due to controversy goin on with Star Wars Franchise.

For me, visit every Disney Park in the world always worth. I still don’t know the chinese ones. But It’s in my bucket list! 😊 By the way, I would like Jojo had seen the big dragon besides the castle. I was told it is in maintenance right now. It’s the biggest animatronic Disney has ever created. And Disney Dreams is one of the best night shows ever, IMO. 😍

Just from what I can see and "feel", Disney Paris looks like it "feels" more like WDW MK...where as Tokyo really felt like you were somewhere else? Or am I miss-reading that vibe?

I went to this park! its the closest one to me and seeing the Alice labyrinth from a standing height is so weird(i am in a wheelchair to make this less confusing)! Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves! hopefully i'll be able to go back soon

The Queen in the maze wasn't working correctly. She's supposed to pop up above the fencing and spin around.
She's been running since 1992. So eventually she will break down If the Queen is not popping out, don't be shy to approach and report to a cast member.

Honestly i didnt stay for the firworks. Im not a fireworks guy im a rides guy so i always take advantage of that. Especially bc i know they were going through their strike when i went.

Smoking, in DLP, 50% of visitors are french and 50% from others countries so not the same culture, behaviour... some part of Europe are not strict on smoking.
