Very good. Thank you for the details on the diy. Love you guys. Greetings from northern New Mexico. We have lovely hot springs here, but compressed by the pandemic right now. Going to try this!
Love This! I’ve been doing lakeside tent sweats in Canada, but making a fire outside, heating rocks and then putting them in a pot and then dragging it into the tent. It’s a bit more of a traditional Native American sweat, But it takes a lot of work. I like your system much more! Thanks for sharing!
I would recommend using a infrared sauna(thing) with this plastic tent. It's safer, if electricity issnt a issue. Buuut infrared sauna has proven to help for the skin and some other health benifits, I would do so research into this if I was you. Good luck! Have fun ❤️
Great idea! I tried it today and it worked well with tarps over a wooden frame. I was in there for over 2 hours and had no problems with carbon monoxide. cost was approx $120 CDN for a 65,000 BTU propane heater and $20 to fill the propane tank. Kiitos!!!
You guys are crazy! But we love it, well done, a good idea for winter😉.. Here in Andalucia our tent on the roof is like a sauna now but we don’t need the heater, we just keep the tent closed and the sun does the rest🥵🥵xx
@@deltafour1212 Celcius, of course. 95ºF is just a hot day outside. I can take 95ºC for 20 minutes tops before needing to cool down. A small/thin person would likely need to leave sooner as they have more surface area to volume and would heat up faster. I've recently started learning to breathe and tolerate the humid air in steam rooms and I've yet to last 15 minutes in one, and they're only 40 to 45º! (110ºF or so)
That's a great solution! I've been waiting a Mobiba sauna tent for years, but they are soooo expensive! I am really going to look into this. Easy to just put in the car and drive to one of the many lakes in my part of Sweden. 😊 I've never seen that kind of burner though, where did you get that? When I was a teenager we always slept in the sauna (my best friend was Finnish and had their own sauna in the house) after a night out. Drank 1L water, sauna on a cool 50C and a good long sleep. Never got hangover at all! 👍
Can you list the equipment you have in this video? I’m curious what tent that is and what heater you’re using. Is it safe to have that heater on in an enclosed space breathing wise?
Its a hunting tent and largest lpg fire pit ring that we could find from store. Tent itself is not even near airtight and you can feel the air coming underneath the tent. If it would be airtight, then it would a dead trap.
Hello sir , for the stove .. do you use high pressure stove or just a normal pressure stove ? And the bucket .. can we use the normal bucket for placing wine ? Or we need the special bucket for boiling water ? Thk u
If you're using Stones you find you might want to heat them up quite a bit before your near them because they might trap air and explode when heated I suppose the ones you would buy have already been heated to make sure that that wouldn't happen
I love learning about the culture of other countries. Here in the states, sauna's are not a big thing. In work out facilities, they usually have them but other than that, no. Extremely hot showers with heavy steam is the closest I've come to one. I'm going to assume (which is not a good thing since I was taught that doing so can make " an ass out of u an me" ass-u-me. Anyway, I am going to assume sauna's are more prevelant to colder climate countries, which the states definitely are not. Anyway, thanks for the upload. It's always nice to see how you're doing. Missed the doggies though.
sauna may be a thing for colder countries but the funny thing is when Finnish UN soldiers make a camp in a hot country the first thing we build is a sauna even there was over +40 celsius ! :)
Some of the rocks around here explode when the water hits them. It's not always on the first use, either. I originally used shore rocks for our sauna and had to replace them.
Granite atleast is the worst stones to use in Sauna. Here is test with different kind of stones, google translator works quite good: saunologia.fi/kiuaskivet-shokkitestissa/
Not really ! Only if its not burning properly and even if that happend TENT is maybe safest place for that bacause good ventilation and carbon monoxide was moved away from roof hole so fast. when LPG is burning it make 99.9% water and carbon dioxide !
As simple as efficient! Also, thank you for showing the world that sauna is not a rich people ritual! You are awesome!
Awesome parking space and great sauna .... I know you both will enjoy the sauna so much!
I haven't laughed so much in ages. You two are great!

A very inventive sauna 😂. I like it a lot. Looks like a lovely camping spot too 👍🏻. Love the video.

LPG when burning clean it shouldnt produce carbon monoxide, thats awesome! Saw your instagram post!
What burner did you use and how hot did it get?
Kiitos tosi kiva esitys! Mekin halutaan tommonen!

Your Sauna looks great, compact and easy to use 😊
Nice the sauna in the woods and the lake.
Portable propane bucket sauna. Looks nice.
Looks like you're getting ready for a crawfish boil 👍🏽Nice!!!
Portable sauna, great idea
How great was that. you two look very happy. great personalities. I love the accent. love you both. cheers!
I like sauna about 95° and not steamy. I never thought about a tent sauna though - it's tempting!
You mean "tenting"?
@@TheAdamfee I'm tempted to get a tent sauna for my own off-grid adventures
95 is that in Celsius or Fahrenheit?

Is that the military looking tents with the stove in them? Mobiba?
I really need one in my house!
Love that
You guys are an inspiration! Keep on sweating
Thank you, we cant live without sweating. :D
Awesome!! 😍
nice.. i have to try sauna at least once in my life!
For sure. Sauna is awsome
Love it! What brand is your portable sauna stove? Greetings from Door County, WI, United States!
Its old coffee ground strainer that we dumbster dived. :)
Joni, do you have a link to were you bought the burner? 😍🥇👍
Love your sauna.
I prefer 80° and moist. And a beer or two.
Yes. How do you find the burner?
I havent seen a single drop of sweat. Was the heat enough or it needs more improvements?

Convratulations. Enjoy it !!!!! ⛺️✅🆓🔝
Finnish people are friendliest and best of all people. My travel experience.
Yes, we are modt anti-social, buy still want to be friendly to everyone. ;)

We used normal 6kW normal pressure stove. Just make sure that its metal bucket everything works great. :)
@@Vantasticvan thank u

Hei
Aweaome 😍😍
Where to buy it? Link?
Nice
What lake is that ???? It's amazing
Lake Saimaa, dozens of fine wild camping places around it. :)
Please link the tent and the oven

That tent is a hunting blind guys! You Fins love the heat... ha ha, come to Canada...
Also to take photos to nature.
Why Canada? Finland and Canada almost look the same.
Hei! Miten kuumaksi saa, saako oikeasti ihan kohtuulliset löylyt?
Tuolla uudella 9kW polttimella ilman löylyjä on vähintään 60, löylyttämällä helposti yli 80.
Bloody hilarious video guys.
Your like me, spend no money if you can make it yourself
What about carbon monoxide from stove ?
Tried with our carbon monoxide sensor from the van, it showed 0 ppm. CO is only introduced when the combustion is not pure.
Doesn't propane produce Carbon "Dioxide"? Which is still unsafe?
Carbon monoxide?
Used our Carbon monoxide detector, 0ppm.
All tent builds need an escape hatch/door cut, the zippers get stuck
That tent is not pitched to the ground so you can lift it up with one hand. :)
I think that there is a danger of intoxicacation by the gases of the camping-kitchen.
Simple liv agh maybe a alitelbit crasy ha ha watt the heg soloing it working
:)
Hei. Mistä tuota saunaa saa ja oliko hinta 120€
Motonetissä oli 60 eurolla alennuksessa kesällä.
"if we get neighbours we can just close this window" - because, thats what a finn would do :D
😆
@@Vantasticvan Where did you buy the gass thing for 10euro? What kind of shop sells that? I live in Oslo and struggle to find this thing.
We bought it from Puuilo

How come you all not dripping sweat at 75C? That's what 175F? I would be a puddle. lol. Looks like fun! 👍
75c is nothing for Finnish people
Lol, notice who is reading the directions!
Doggos. More doggos plz 🤣

I'd be worried about heating whatever plastic material the tent is made of and breathing that.
I brought a CO detector in mine to be safe, and it never went off during a 2 hour continuous burn.
Nice change from all the Covid-19 crap and BLM.
