"The handstand is more like the dessert, it is not the main meal. What is the main meal is the practice, it's the preparation for it." Wow, that's a knockout way of saying that it's about the journey not just the destination
Hi Mollie, this came at the right time. I realize I've become a meathead dropping any handstand balance work and only doing bent arm presses to handstand (a really shallow hold on top) and wall-assisted handstand push-ups for a few months. Such a shame, just tested my free handstand and got a wobbly banana. Definitely incorporating the practice back again with a new training cycle. By the way, hiring a trustworthy movement coach is a good decision at pretty much any level of the journey. Cheers!
@@WildMollie Couldn't wait until a new training phase, so right away implemented HS balance and alignment drills as a primer to my current calisthenics sessions. At least, an increase in thoracic, shoulder and wrist mobility after a few handstands never hurts. By the way, which route do you want to follow with your hand balancing now, might be different handstand shapes, straight-arm presses, longer holds or even strength skills? I myself mostly up to nailing the freestanding handstand push-ups for clean and consistent reps.

You rock 🔥
How did you schedule in your handstand practice with other "tricky" Yoga poses?
If they aligned with the same muscle groups then definitely, if I have enough gas in me! 😅
Hi Mollie, Good Looking Guns at 1:11.
