I hope you are right, but I doubt it! All it takes is a few dunks at the end of the game, and media puppet text readers will fire up the old Jokic "worst MVP" BS.
I’ve been watching basketball nearly 40yrs and going to 30+ games yearly (center court row 9/11/13) since 1987-88 (Reggie Miller’s rookie year) and imo the best players of just the last 40yrs (so since 84-85 or so) MJ LeBron Hakeem Bird Magic Jokic Not that order necessarily but those are the 6 best overall players to ME and I’ve seen them all live 5x to 53x each! Shaq Duncan Kobe Curry Durant KG Dirk Giannis Pippen Kawhi Wade Robinson Malone Isiah Clyde Stockton Nash Kidd Reggie/Pierce/Dominque prob round of my Top25 since mid 80s (not that order necessarily…Shaq’s first 10yrs and 2000-02 prime elite too for sure). Jokic ranks higher for me all time than anyone the last 25 yrs besides LeBron (granted he needs to do it for longer but this is yr5 of one the 1-7🐐5yr primes as including playoffs since 2020-21 he’s AVERAGING 27, 12, 9, 2.1 stocks on 58/37/83 & +6.5 per game to go alone with insane analytics)! Obviously Kareem, Wilt, Russell, Big O, Jerry West, Dr J would also be somewhere in the top3/5/10/20 somewhere as all well all time and My personal starting 5 all time that I think is UNBEATABLE? LeBron MJ Bird Jokic Hakeem I’m sorry no one is > then that starting 5 with all of those 5 at their best. 5 amazing all around players! Would also love Curry MJ LeBron Jokic Hakeem
When considering the greats, remember, it's a contest. There are 10 players or more to select to make up a game. It's not a one man game. Even Wilt found that out. I recall that Jokic has water polo experience. That helps with his passing, catching, and vision. His awareness and ability to capitalize on it with the right decision is high on his list of attributes. Assists, rebounds, points, whatever you need. Even timely defense. Consistency, durability, and facility. Right there with Larry for clutch and for vision. Superior to passing to any other big man. Most efficient offensive player in history. (I think)
There will be another MJ, another LBJ, another whoever in the future. There won't be another Joker. His combination of everything-basketball is way more complex compared to any center ever.
@@ALLCITY_NBA Ain't even that spicy take tbh. - One of the greatest passer ever. - Some of the best hands ever. - One of the best shooting touches ever. - One of the most skilled post up players ever. - One of the most efficient mid range scorers ever. - Basketball savant, one of the highest BBIQs ever. - Incredible ball handling for a center. - Incredible "route running" comparable to what guards are doing. - Whole palette of passes with both hands. Stationary, on the move, touch passes, zips, full court, REAL no-look ones and not cringe look aways into spin, you name it... And there is more... All that in that big of a body, with great strength, elite positioning, elite rebounding, elite in deflections... How on Earth is someone gonna accumulate even half of it? It doesn't seem real.
@@brownhairydog6472 It's more about the player archetype with majority of skills and abilities within along with close enough quality. MJ for the large part we already saw in Kobe. Obviously not as good as greatest player ever but respectably close in terms of ability. In general it's easier to expect and there are vastly higher probabilities of someone having desired set of abilities alongside quality as player who is 6'6" like MJ or 6'9" like LBJ then having what I've mentioned with Joker's body. Having another center be considered as one of the best passers ever is just one point that seems very hard to even get remotely close. And then there are other things... I just don't see it, definitely not within our lifetimes.
He's the ultimate basketball professional... I get ball, I put ball in hole, I pass ball so that others can put it in hole! How do I do it? Doesn't matter, It gets done!
pov: You give adam mares access to all the second spectrum data stuff. "Right hand, right foot jump hooks" data is insane. *lol, i didn't know the first sombor was against Nurk, that's hilarious
he learned from the best, karim abdul jabbar, and added a monster 3p touch to it. combined with one of the best shooting touches overall its pretty much undefiable
That’s the most beautiful ugly shot I’ve ever seen
I’m glad the “Jokic is boring” narrative died out. It never made sense, he makes absolute poetry within this game🔥
Dude is so fun to watch I started to become a fan with just his foot work in the paint the more I watched seeing him shot the ball passing rebounding
The same goes for Djokovic in tennis.
I hope you are right, but I doubt it! All it takes is a few dunks at the end of the game, and media puppet text readers will fire up the old Jokic "worst MVP" BS.
It’s like ballet, his finesse is unrivaled by bigs and damn near in general.
His footwork was the main reason i became a jokic fan several years ago
Post moves like Hakeem.
Baby Sombor is just perfect name, it's gonna make dozens of thousands of new Nuggets fans in Serbia super proud 🎉
"Baby Sombor..." hahaha, what a sweet name you gave it. I love this video, bro.

He will be the new MVP when he can do what he did there are no questions asked!
What a special special Player! We got them only once in a Generation!
Love the deep dive Adam! Keep it coming!
I’d love more content like this with Adam breaking down moves and plays. And the more Nuggets shit the better!

Adam cooked with this one, great vid 😂 love the name btw 😅

I agree Joker is unique. However after 40 years there's still no one close to MJ and I'd say we'll say same for LeBron.

It’s so true. Opens up so much interesting research😊
I could pass on your music choice. 😎
Joker is amazing!
Great stuff, Adam! I love our dancing bear’s spinny Sombor and skipping Sombor as i call them lol 🥰🃏🐐
Really well Analyzed! I am Hooked!
Baby Sombor is iconic😁
Let's just call it the Sombor Hook or Joker's Hook
yeah i could see it becoming a thing in the mainstream media and anouncers if its sombor hook or jokers hook, baby sombor its just not good
Great vid. Vile music.
Name the last player that 'invented' or was known for a specific shot, it's probably Kareem, that's how long it's been, crazy.
Dirk’s fallaway
Hardens 2.5 gather step back
Manu’s Eurostep
To name a few
Alperen Sengun did perfectly at buzzer in Detroit game 3rd quarter 2.50 😅
We have a rare headband Jokic shot at 3:11 !

He makes a very high percentage of his sombor shuffle shots near the basket. I will guess 80%.
@@steverimnac526 bout 70% or so has the most incredible touch for a big in the paint
63.3% eFG on post up baby Sombors
good stuff. i guess i didnt realize other big men dont do this
Go joker!
and he also does the left foot left hand hook, he just likes shooting off the same leg
Love the video but not the background music, like a ringtone going off
Nice video buddy thank you.
Nice clickbait. No thanks.
NBA media doesn't like Jokic Because he isn't American. So sad. But BALL DON'T LIE!
Jokic using 1 leg and 1 arm is better then 95% of the league, thats how good he is...
Shout out to the person who made the baby tune beat
The only thing I can think of when I see this is a boxer who uses an off-tempo punch.
Great analysis but lose the background track
