I play tenor sax I started 3 yrs ago on clarinet I still can't get notes past low D to constantly speak(on tenor) I can slur down to it sometimes but never like in a peace. Any tips... Ps love you work
When you play low, think low. Make sure that you can hear the pitch that you want before you [attempt] to play it.
Loosen up your embouchure as you hit lower notes. Make more of an oval shave with your mouth, relaxing your mouth and almost slightly pushing your lower jaw downwards (without tension, though!). It might also be a problem with the horn.
