- Lakers News has circled that Jaxson Hayes is Favored over Christian Wood but that could be a mistake for Lakers Nation. Wood was disappointing last season but under JJ Redick he could thrive for the Lakers. If Lakers Trade goes down, depending on what the trade looks like and who is traded, Lakers might end up needing Wood more.

when Cwood and AD were playing together our defense was AMAZING and offense were good. But once he got injured out for the whole season. Our defense were dog shit. Offense went up though. Cwood plays the role like what Bam does with AD in the Olympics. We need Wood he is still really good. Hayes doesn't play defense and can't block shots.

Idk what you saw i watched almost ever game and saw completely the opposite. I paid for every channel the Lakers played on. And Hayes definitely played better defense than cwood of course Hayes can't shoot 3s but , nether is what we need a center.
Christian wood got potential he was held back by ham and also take into account woods was in the news because of his baby mamma drama his baby mamma was smashing his vehicles and stuff so he was distracted
If they Keep Vando they have to Keep Woods. The issue is Hayes being out there without shooting is an issue. So you can’t have Hayes, Vando, and Christie on the court at the same time because neither can create. Woods with Vando helps for Vando inability to create and score.

Finally somebody that was spot on on how Wood was misused.. It was so hard to watch him have to catch the ball on the perimeter from 35 feet out and try to get all the way to the basket.. He never got good mins with AD on the floor too
Keep both! Wood is Rui insurance and Hayes can fill the McGee role if given a fair chance.
Wood recently player above average defense ! And the dude can shoot, he averaged 17 just a season ago ! Let's see if JJ can get the best out of him
Wood is more versatile than Hayes, we needed to see more of him. Mistake to trade him unless it's like Markkenen we're getting.

A Draymond green like player who would be good with AD i say Bobby Portis from Milwaukee he's crazy good on defense and can get buckets for himself without problems
I don't know what it is with you people who don't know basketball. Do you remember what Christian wood as a player was before he came to the Lakers his ability to play and score was not his problem. What's the right coaching a player with his ability can thrive with the Lakers. It was the other issues locker room non-basketball where he had problems

i personally like keeping both wood and hayes. becaise wood should be playing powrer forward or even small forward
chrisrian should not be made primarily a three point shooter. hes too good down low. with woods ability to score and rebound and with him having the third best defensive rating on the team he could even start at small forward. hes way bettrr than people think

@@adamhurley751 dude you can't switch him against wings in the perimeter. he is slow as traditional center. wings and guards will just blow by him. yeah you can put him in the paint as rim protector but guess what? he's weak too. can't handle post up against true centers. I don't know where did you get that 3rd best defensive rating thing. against who and who's in lineup with him? he's always a lazy defender. he's a rhythm player too the reason he was forcing shots when he's shots was off with that very slow pace offense he have. lazy on defense and needs rhythm? yeah, he acts and think like superstar.
Wood is a Power Forward & Jaxson is a Center!!!
LBJ is Our Starting PF so, if We keep Rui He is Our 2nd PF and We should move Wood however, if We trade Rui then, Wood is Our #2 PF.

Wood is not good at rebounding or traditional 5. He is great with AD, nothing else. With or without AD, Wood is average as a 4, not great as a 5.

I know, what was Ham thinking. Wood is obviously a point guard, JK. Totally Rui insurance. They have enough PF options (LBJ, AD3 after trading for a bigger, part-time center, and Wood).

Just keep Woods because you can't find someone to produce what he gives you for that price. The Lakers are getting a bad reputation of acting like they don't guys that are good players which makes these want to go to other teams. Another team then turn around and show really how to use these same players.
This how I would do it if I were rob pelinka which the options we have left this how the lineups would be
Pg- Spencer dinwiddie/gabe Vincent or go get tyus jones
Sg- Reaves/Christie Dalton knecht
Sf-possibly still Cam Johnson/Jared Vanderbilt
Pf- Lebron James/Rui Hachimura
C- Anthony Davis/ Wendell Carter jr and Christian wood can be backup or move him to the forward
If needed add one more center

wrong dumbo. wood scored and rebounded well. obviously ham used him wrong. because hes a big man. so he shouldnt be shooting threes all day. we missed his rebounding big time in the playoffs. and te argumsent could be made that we lost the denver series because we were missing wood and vanso. our bench coukdnt score. and we were majorly outrebounded
