Ya in the USA your lucky if you get 1 week a year and that is if your company even offers that as it is not required by law. In many states over here they don't even have laws that mandate a meal break. Nor is there really any max amount of time in law. I have looked into it. Legally speaking a company here could work you 24 hrs a day everyday if they wanted as long as they paid you the minimum wage. And in all customer facing jobs it is demanded from you to have a smile on your face and a smile in your voice at all times you are in ear shot of customers. The toxic fake positivity as you stress are you going to be pay your rent/bills and buy food.
