EVE online - Capsuleer Day XXI - Calamitous Firestorm - Vexor solo

- Showcase of a fairly cheap Vexor that is running 2 T4 combat abyssals from the EVE online Capsuleer Day XXI Event back to back. My char has very high skills, but is using no implants for this run.
You can see me swapping out modules mid run at various times, you can adjust DPS and tank as you need them obviously.
I was unlucky with the Edencom drops, most T4s have 2 of those, but even with those I always get back to the Origin Conduit well before the BS dies.

My thanks for this amazing fit. Running this alone and with a mate when possible, both using this fit. Way better fit then all the other fits we found. Never thought of using wardens. So much easier. Since these filaments are now dirt cheap we are going to do these back to back and finish the event with some decent loot. Kuddos from the both of us!!
I never would have thought of refitting and swaping out drones on the fly. :-) After 20 years of EVE I still got so much to learn!

You're welcome! For the first few runs I would suggest to fit the extra shield power relay instead of the drone damage amplifier for some extra survivability until you are used to how this fit works.
Second question. Why not 4 shield extenders alltime? 3ext+recharger is less recharge than 4 ext
Because the ship runs out of CPU. At 2:00 you can see me refit a drone damage amplifier, but I'm out of CPU. One way to fix that is to swap an extender for a recharger. Another option would be to offline the drone link augmentor, but I prefer to maintain the extra drone range.
Also, I totally messed up at the end of the first room and forgot to swap the 4th extender back in. As a result of that my shield went much lower than I expected at the beginning of the second run, where the extra buffer would have bought me some more time.
Why Calday navys, not Gallentes? Sentry yea better range. But for other drones?
The Caldari Navy drones have a lot of extra shield HP. You can see them taking damage whenever frigates spawn, if I was using any other drones I'd constantly have to recall/replace them. The shield damage repairs itself.
