there is many advantages with a good sliced BH. it don't cost energy. it is difficult to attack back. opponant can't read it, it can goes everywhere it gives a vey high accuracy. and it is perfect to hide dropshots :)

I feel that Barty’s slice is much more effective cause most women’s players don’t slice regularly while on male players do. It seems like in most matches I see Berretini play, it’s just a matter of time until his opponent gets used to his slice and I feel that part of the reason behind this is because many male players have an average to great slice which makes the shot very expected which is the opposite compared to female players

I would say Thiem has a better bh slice incorporated to his overall game.!
Thiem definitely does have a great slice. As is his Topspin bh, can hit winners from any position!
