About My Hilux (Baljeet)
After almost a decade of waiting I finally have this, this what you see here is my love, is the sole reason I have worked so hard over the last years. I have had this impossible dream of driving from New Delhi to London since 2012-2014 now, but when I see 2014 I see this as an important dream. Our first car in 2013 was a second hand Maruti Suzuki Akto and to be able to reach here today has been a lot of sweat, sleepless nights and prayers!
But you see, today I'm here and this is just the start of my impossible dream. To be able to go anywhere, live anywhere. To be free on the road & off road.. I shall have my freedom and this beast that you see here today is just what will give me my freedom.
Everyone, meet Baljeet, that is going to take me & you to lots and lots of far off places. Let the adventure begin!

suggestion - use portable kitchen also known as chuck box and keep in your trunk for cooking
when u travel to UK..try and go to Bournemouth ..its a small pretty seas side town on jurrasic coast..rest u can research online...

I was onboard with the rooftop tents but I changed my mind now.
I’m planning to get an overlander hopefully within the next 3 years, but I’ve already started thinking about the equipment I want to have. Initially, I was on board with rooftop tents, but I felt insecure about being cut off from the main cabin of the vehicle. Since then, I’ve been looking for Wranglers that can be subtly and minimally equipped with cooking and storage tools, minimizing or eliminating roof storage. My goal is to convert the back seats and boot into a cozy bed that stays protected from wild animals and bad players. Plus, in case of danger, I want to be able to quickly assume the driver’s position. The last addition I’m thinking about is installing a glass canopy roof on the back of the Wrangler so I can fall asleep gazing at the stars.

Tip- carry a clear page daory or something and use it to make collage of bills and other stuff u buy while on trip like tickets or maybe some cool items,cafe stickers or pic or bill of some cultural item rooted to that very local place..considering how long the journey is it can get alot so u can particularly sort out which ones seems worth to store (letting u skip out on basic water bottles purchases and stuff)
