- What makes a woman classy? What does she wear and how does she act? What does it mean to be elegant? This is the number one question I get, so I’ve compiled thoughts spanning all of the different criteria including hair, makeup, clothes, and behavior. Obviously from a man’s perspective, ladies please add on in the comments along with any other questions or thoughts.

•Picking up your feet when walking & walking with purpose
•Eye contact when crossing paths & when being spoken too.
•Slower movements / stop rushing around everywhere. There’s a lot of power in being graceful.
•NO neon colors EVER
•If you’re over the age of 13, no fruit scented, cheap body products like lotion or hair care, please! You smell like a fruit bowl!
•Accept all the compliments that are given to you. Never reject or downplay when someone says something positive about you, to you.Just simply, say thank you.
The fruit scented one is controversial now that everyone wants to wear gourmand fragrances that smell like sugar. But you’re 100% correct
I purchased a pocket book thesaurus and it has been a life saver
Congratulations on hitting over 1K subscribers!! 🎉
Thank you! I’ve been so focused on getting started over here that I hadn’t even realized.
Love it love it love it! I’m so surprised you didn’t talk about nails! There’s a lot to discuss there! 💅🏻
Nails, BBLs…I think I missed a lot
@@xavier.clb1 It's ok that leaves room for a part 2!
I know the natural hair topic was hard to discuss. But I agree. I don’t do baby hair wigs, I wear my natural hair flat irons or in a blown out braid out.
I do want honey blonde highlights on my real hair 👀😅😮💨
I went ginger for a while. Sometimes you just have to accept what it is and do it anyway lol
I don’t need to spoon feed, I trust my audience is intelligent enough to use common sense
@@xavier.clb11. “your audience” isn’t the only one on the internet. Be more careful when critiquing woc / black women’s hair & natural features- and I trust a black man understands the extensive history behind why it’s important to not publicly demonize black woman’s hair & natural features ❤️ It’s so easy to criticize when others haven’t had to have pass laws to prevent people from discriminating against you or firing you for your natural hair. 2. Plus You may not like the wigs, but what can happen to a black woman’s life when she takes it off can be even more devastating- career wise, financially, bw are forced to assimilate to ways their body doesn’t naturally conform. 3. I know you go by Mr Pretentious but I feel like there’s a lot more things to be learned about POLITE SOCIETY ❤️ 4. Not to mention, you must not have heard of “hard wig, soft life”. Caring about how laid somebody’s wig is, is very much a typical low class - blackistan talking point. The internet is FILLED to the brim with BM complaining about BW’s wigs and we are hoping your content isn’t stooping down to that black pill level. People in the upper echelon aren’t concerned about somebody’s edges or wigs . High class people, & those in other communities, don’t discuss the topic ad naseum like bm on the internet do; bm have developed the reputation of being known to have such an obsessed with downing women’s, esp black womens , hairstyles. We’re hoping your content is more elevated than that of a typical podcast bro! ❤️enjoy your day
@@Lb-jm6wi I'm sorry, but the wigs don't even look natural. In real life, full wigs have tracks that are very visible which is why BM criticize it. Also, BW have an obsession with wearing wigs in general. If you truly care about black women's hair and the discrimination of their features, then why do you try to assimilate with white people by wearing straight wigs if you want to protect our identity? You just sound like a hypocrite with cognitive dissonance. In my personal opinion, if you truly care about the demonizing of out features then you should ENCOURAGE black women to wear their natural hair.
Informative thank you. I'll be sharing this with my sisters
thank you I definitely needed this! need to work on being entitled tho🤣 , big ppl pleaser lol
I’ll have to cover people pleasing. It’s very hard to get over but it’s so bad for you
Thank youuu
“You only know 4 words” 😂😂😂 but seriously please read. Your vocabulary increases soooo quickly if you just read
Profound 💯
14:03 CONTROL AND EXPECTATION
I need to work on over explaining! I was about to comment why I do it so often, but then that in itself would be over explaining lol
How do you feel about dreadlocks on women? They're currently shoulder length. Can they be considered classy if they're retwisted and styled? Or should I opt for a wig?
I’ve filmed a video about hair since it’s a common question. It’ll be up over the next few days
@@xavier.clb1I can’t wait
@EverythingAlana I love dreadlocks on women. Not all of see it as a negative.
Okay but what are your thoughts on the frequency upper class women say, pardon, please, excuse me, and sorry. I feel like a video on the mannerism would be more in depth, any thoughts?
Manners are different from appeasement behaviors. Manners are important but shouldn’t be confused with people pleasing
How about a pixie cut. I think it’s a sweet touch!
Never heard a man like a pixie cut, including myself. Might work for some people but I wouldn’t call it classy by any means
I definitely carry a huge bag to work 😂
Bag lady ☹️
Which Diptyque perfume is best?
They’re a “safe” brand - anything you like would be in the right realm. My top 3 would be L’eau Papier, Do Son, and Eau Duelle
@@xavier.clb1 Thank you
Great video!
It’s pronounced she-inn tho
I’ll never learn the name of that place out of principle
@ and I respect that 😂😂
What do you think about Jane Birkin because your describing the opposite of even though I think she has a very beautiful style.I get that she didn’t have the most classy style, but do you think you can take inspiration.
Hmmm why do you think Jane Birkin doesn’t fit into my description? She was very chic.
what do you think about women with microlocs?
Is shopping at dillards and express okay?
Dillards is much better than Express
@ oh okay thank you
Why is natural hair down to lower back not classy?
Why would it be? Where have you seen that?
@@xavier.clb1I thought long natural hair is considered more feminine. Would recommend some classy hairstyles?
@@cheesypoofpoofs7700 Long yes, but around mid-back. Some women with naturally straight hair may have it longer but this is unusual (maybe because it is harder to keep up with, I'm not sure). I'll put together some hairstyles for reference
@@xavier.clb1 thank you 😁
Indigenous long type hair looks so tacky and poor. It’s just long for no reason like one is scared of scissors or treasure hair too much as if they can’t grow it. Hair with a cut and styled with purpose looks very beautiful. Even if it’s somewhat long, layered or with nice waves rather than looking too long and straight like if you’re from an uncontacted tribe.
I’ve met some women from powerful families. They do coke. Don’t leave that part out.
I’m light skin and I think a honey blonde looks better on me. My natural dark is just too dark.
Dark hair looks stunning on all skin tones, imo.
🤣🤣🤣
Older women should not give advice. It's overbearing.
