There is no fight, it's just a one sided massacre of Urek destroying Viole. He quite literally is the strongest in the tower as of now, apart from king Jahad but he rarely even shows up.
Urek and Bam is like the equivalent of kid Goku meeting Beerus
Ah also, the ghoul thing you saw that regenerated him - thats actually not canon, it only happened once at the start of season 2 and for some reason they decided to put it in again but now, to anime onlys, it seems like he has a regeneration cheat code which is not the case

It is kinda weird the 'red thing' doesn't appear that much in the manwha, I don't know if we ever got a proper explanation for it? There was something involving the workshop but Bam only had the blue Tyrssa, not the red one, at that point. So I can see why they'd want to make the decision to make it more present? (I mean why does it only heal him once anyway.)

I'm pretty sure the red thing is the fake needle, the bowl. Once he takes in the real needle, it gets upgraded to that hovering red needle he now wears

Urek is 4th strongest person in tog
the issue is really how the episode breaks up the encounter. Episode 6 leaves right before the fight so you're expecting something crazy, but episode 7 just ends it right after it picks up. Of course, sometimes timing can be awkward with anime translating manga/manwha, but the mistake of having Urek encounter span two episodes instead of one feels pretty negligent.
But in the context of the story, especially when paying attention to manwha, Urek is not someone Bam could ever hope to defeat anytime soon. season 1 already spoke about how urek was an overpowered irregular, unlike bam who started small, right from the getgo,. and what we learn later in the manwha bam stood absolutely no chance. Think ultra-instinct shaggy memes. I mean we do also see that Urek just one shots *rankers* when Bam couldn't even beat Love in the last test.
This last explanation goes into minor spoilers, so you can look away from here, but:
There is a ranking system in ToG for the strongest rankers. Among them, Jahaad, the kind of the tower, is rank 3.
Urek is Rank 4. And because Jahad is supposedly just hibernating, Urek very much *is* the strongest man in the tower, (Well, barring two others ranked but they aren't really relevant to the story in-so-far). he's even stronger then the other 10 family heads which are also in the same relative ballpark as Jahad. Hell the gap between Urek and Jahad probably isn't that big either since he's only ranked one below him, so the idea that a freshly trained bam could even last more then a single clash with Urek is absurd. There was no way it was going to be a fair fight.

And as someone who loves ToG and wants to defend it - the animation is really...i kept saying "theyre probably saving it for this episode, dont worry" but they didnt 😭😭
This was barely a fight even in the manwha lmao the fact you thought bam would stand a chance is funny. But since it’s an anime you have to wait to see if anything happens while in the manwha you can go to the next chapter and there wasn’t much of a fight to began with.
It’s not your fault for not liking tower of god if you only want fight scenes. Because this series is heavily focused on storytelling. Also if Mazino really threw his hand there would have been a nuclear explosion.
The fight scenes can be good, it's just the adaptation is not very good, it's animation is very mediocre.
@@savagecabbagedank3771 I know right? This is among the times when I feel like Japanese studios suck at adapting the stories. Also you can’t wish for a dynamic insane fight scene against a level 100,000,000 boss when you’re just somewhat above level 10. It can’t be helped if you’re disappointed.

@@savagecabbagedank3771 As I have said before this series is heavily focused on storytelling. It’s categorised as action and dark fantasy but I think it should have been mystery too. There are so many questions just keeps piling up. For those who are just for fights it’s a massive test of patience. I don’t mean to advise you but if I were you I’d probably forget about this anime and let my far future self hear rumours about something going down and youtube or google search those out. As for the fight scenes so far, as a webtoon reader I am disappointed too. The number of episodes and given time has not been enough to bring out the original charm.
I can kinda understand your disappointment, tbf when i first read it i didnt need to wait for new chapters so maybe i just cant relate but as you could see shortly after, he can literally disintegrate even rankers with one attack so if he properly attacked our team now, the show would have ended 😭 there is no fight to be had here at all, mazino is the strongest guy in the tower and in ToG, the difference between even rankers and the top 10 is immeasurable
So ig yeah they hyped up a fight that was never gonna happen in the first place but it'll all pay off in the long run

YEAHH there’s not alot of fights in the beginning of s2 only the latter half also expecting fights in tower of god is too funny. Tog prides itself on the story and thriller/betrayal before fights
@@mofubunsart thats also a really good point, i considered saying that but i didnt want to make it sound like there are no fights in ToG at all, the rest of the season is gonna have quite a bit of fighting after all, just not the main focus most of the time
