Hi! Resonance Ying Main here (don't roll your eyes at me! LOL).
Tbh, I definitely am more of an aggro DPS/Support player and just wanted to also contribute my own bits of knowledge to the video as well. You had mentioned it in passing before, but I also think it's really important to be able to quickly weigh out the value of healing versus damage. For example, as a support, it's important for you to continue healing your team and topping people off, but sometimes it is WAY more valuable for you to attack or use your other abilities to keep teammates alive.
Being a Resonance Ying main is probably one of the harder talents for a lot of people to juggle but I often times use my Illusions more defensively (you can also do this with Luna/IO). I'll use them to body block myself from the enemy team but also to protect my teammates if they're running low. This way if they kill off my illusions, they'd be hit with 500 burst damage on top of a teammate and probably myself attacking them as well. It's just all game sense and decision making that will come second nature with time. Don't be afraid to push and make space with your team!
Also being aware of where your teammates are as much as you can helps a great bit too. Retreating is often times the best thing you can do as a support because staying alive is the most important thing as a support.
I do have a pretty old video of me utilizing Resonance Ying on my channel (i don't have many videos 😅) but it's there if people are interested and want help with ResoYing specifically.

As a support main that has been playing since Zhin first came out, this video is amazing for new players that have a hard time with the role :)

support main here, i think you mentioned it but don't be afraid to use a healing ability for dmg (ex. damba's gourd, feria's solar beam, io's wolf) all of these can and will help you fight.

Might seem silly and obvious, but I’d say get familiar with the maps. Knowing flank routes and openings/windows to heal your teammates is huge, especially when going for a cap or final push.

And he says he's not good with giving tips Kappa
Thanks for the tips vex ♥️
These things I've learned the hard way, and I am still learning.
An important tip I got from Apxche is:
As a support, I should roll out off spawn later than my teammates and follow them, and not to dismount unless I need to.

Also worth mentioning to not be afraid to use ults in self defense as shown by Vex at 8:55

Hello, Vex30! I really enjoyed this video. I know I'm an experienced grandmaster support player, but I always enjoy going back to the basics, because we can still learn from even the most simple things.
I believe a good tip would be to always be on the opposite side of the enemy.
Thank you again and have a great day everyday!

Tip number 6: write a petition to Hirez to hire vex to create a proper in game tutorial which the game has been missing ever since it was created.
Honestly it literally was the game's job to have a tuturial which includes these basic things that people miss like card building, how hp bar changes under caut, etc. but instead the community has to rely on each other.

As a support main, my tips is to try to play support for a month (for a dps/flank main) and you will see that it's not that easy like people think...Some of this dps/flank main just spam "need healing" when they died in a bad position 1 vs 5 and they expect a support to heal them... There's just a little detail...If the support die when he try to heal that flank, THE ENTIRE TEAM DIE....so it's better if the flank die in that situation than both of them

Next video could mention tips for begginers as well as intermediate support players. Positioning, target prioritization thanks to the (as You mentioned) HUD enabled in the top part of the screen, knowing when to cap and when to get off point, cycling cooldowns. I feel like most of new support players just tunnel vision to much on tanks or become a heal bot, maybe if you would touch up on those topics that I mentioned at least some that watch your vids would improve, peace! 😀

You should have the heal feed option enabled regardless of if you play suppport, damage, flank or tank. It's always good to know if you are getting healed.

So apart from communication which is hard in eu because we get put with people who don't speak a word of English, how's a good way to to counter caut? I feel that a tank taking rejuvenate over their tank items is straight up a throw... Also tanks in this game are very inty I guess the pace is fast so they need to but they never use natural cover and they don't get when to press w or press s during a fight. Just curious what you would suggest here.. caut really just blows up tanks because they're receiving all 5 of the enemy shots especially Tyra who throws her nade ontop of your tank.
