I only discovered how addicting watching dog agility is last week and the rescue dogs are my favourite! They’re all absolutely precious and I also love how respectful (and funny) the commentators are. Such happy doggos!
I've only just discovered CRUFTS as well. It is addictive. My favourite is also the rescue dogs. I love all the happy little chappies. I love that their enjoyment is top priority.
Not gonna lie came here to see Olly and Kratu but was truly amazed by all these beautiful, amazing dogs every single one put a smile on my my face and a lot of laughs.Happy to see these doggos having fun
We got a rescue Border Collie about 3 years ago...agency thought he was about 3 yrs old at the time, but during our 1st vet visit, we discovered he probably was barely a year old. Paperwork had him as a stray from Missouri. He's unreal...knew pretty much every basic command when we got him. He never leaves our side...at the park he's definitely the fastest around. Just loves to run. WIll try to herd anything that moves, especially kids on bikes. He's the hit of our cul-de-sac, as some of the kids enjoy being herded. Bottom line....BEST-DOG-EVER!
One of my favorite border collie stories is the one that could heard his human's parties up onto the patio and no one would notice till they were literally packed like sardines.
Hear about dogs and cats running onto football pitches, but I have never heard of a dog running into a dog agility course with a toy. Kratu going into the tunnels often reminds me of my dog if she was in a parking lot full of open car doors.
With everything going on right now, watching this make me feel so much better, the smiles on them doggoes face as the run around is just heart warming, to know that before some of them where just toss aside just because someone did not want them,
These dogs just getting a second chance at life and having fun running around wagging their tails is just pure joy to watch. So sad about their pasts. I smile and cry every time I hear and watch do this course.
Im crying sm thanks to this for giving these beauties opportunity to have this much of a fun after everything they may have gone thru such beautiful creations. My hugs and love to all the other strays and rescued doggos who need a family. Go adopt one and meet a best friend for life 🥲
I was doing an agility competition with my Abby, a Belgian Malinois, she wasn’t interested in the competition, I could tell just by looking at her, so I just laid down and we wrestled. What a great day
It would be wonderful, if Crufts did a heck of a lot more for rescued puppy farm survivors! Their rehabilitation can take years, especially for the terrified and abused ex breeding females
Wonderful, all are wonderful 😁 My most entertaining list: #2 Fergus at 19.40 UNTIL 21.52 #4 Pepper from 22.30 #5 Lollipop from24.56 #3 Olly from 27.18 #1 Kratu from 28.33
Love love love the rescues such terrific attitude! “I’ll do it my way”. Love the commentary too. So respectful and apt for these spunky yet sweet brats! Enjoyed watching the huge personality each of these rescues carry…
LOVELY! Thank you so much for highlighting the wonderful dogs (cats, birds, etc.) that are in shelters and all they are missing is loving homes. Great show!
omg that tiny small dog is adorable she just want to sniff , she is reallllly so small ❤ they are all adorable and having fun and am here for it ❤ they all want to say hi to the crowd , I wish I can adopt all of them 😭😭😭
I'm going to get a rescue after this summer. I had a whippet who lived until 13 years of age. I was going to get another but then thought of getting a rescue crossed my mind, and I realised it didn't really matter to me what breed or mix my dog would be - as long as our lives fit together. Where I live there are really few homeless dogs. Absolutely no strays. Some end up looking for a new home - though that is very uncommon - but even then people would never just abandon them. So the rescues are brought in from countries like Romania, Spain, Russia or Estonia. Sadly, there are health risks when bringing dogs from these countries, and rescue organisations have to take great care when bringing dogs in. For example, we don't have cases of rabies and we don't use antibiotics as much. There are also many kinds of parasites that aren't found here. That's why it's extremely vital to have throughout health checks for the dogs. Using antibiotics "just in case" has resulted in multi resistent bacteria in many countries. These can be tested at labs, but at the moment it's up to the future owner to get those checked. I'll keep my rescue away from other dogs until he's been proven free of them. The rescue I've been considering is from Russia. He wasn't doing great at the shelter, but has a wonderful personality, so he was brought in to a foster family. I'd love to provide him a great, loving home.
The fact that there’s rescue dog proves how much Crufts love dogs. It’s not some snobby battle for prestige blood lines. It’s the love of dogs.

nashvillenightkat Rescue dog agility isn’t a competition.
