My childhood game ...
I searched over and over trying to remember "the legend of~ the legend ~"I only remember a cat boy, fire, and frogs that I got stuck on.
This is the kind of game I would play with voice acting off.
Childhood memories. I'm glad it was remastered for PS4 with war of the monsters as well.
I just remember getting stuck in a burning village for months and i couldn't progress further so i stopped playing.
I don't care about the voice acting. The game is awesome.
Drinking = Meditation, good to know.

Personally I love the voice acting I think it's spactacular I'm so glad they kept it original
I will admit that the acting seems perfectly fine during the comic panel cutscenes. But during the in-engine cutscenes, the lines are dragged out. And unfortunately the acting is worse, depending on the characters. I would either blame it on the direction given to them, or the pauses between lines.

I just bought this game today, it's not bad, I just felt like it was interesting, it kinda is but the games are on sale so I couldn't find anything interesting so I just ended up picking this & another game on Xbox.

It's incredible how they could do such a phenomenal job on the soundtrack, but such a horrendous job on the voice acting! Nonetheless excited to relive some memories on ps4

+BrunoTomat1990 the demon portals, weapons, chests (you don't need to get all of them for the trophy as you can buy missed items in the store, but you need 15 magic and hearts (of each) total at the end)

I know it seems lackluster by today's standards but I would have loved the SHIT out of this back then. :D This was during the Jak and Ratchet era too. Bet your ass I would have been all over this. I just never knew it existed. Lol

Ich hab es jetzt insgesamt zum sechsten mal durch gespielt, von des Schwierigkeitsgrades " Leicht " , Normal und Schwer ! Also der Durchgang ergibt 3 mal und dann nochmal der Reihenfolge !!! Was mir jetzt noch fehlt ist jetzt eine Comicsseite ich meine jetzt die gezeichneten Skizzen und halt die Comicseitengeschichte das finden ich jetzt ein Beschieß bei 3234456575485 Punktensammlung bei mal 250 der Kristallensammlung !!! Sagt bloß das mir des Schwierigkeitsgrades " Alptraum " doch nicht erspart bleibt !!!!

Ich Spiele das jetzt zum Vierten mal durch, bei des Schwierigkeitsgrades " Leicht " ohne Auflösung, bei " Normal " mit Auflôsung um es Auswendig zu können, das " Schwer " des Schwierigkeitsgrades bin ich durch und hab da glaube Zwei Magiekontainer versäumt, aber ich habe da noch Experimentiert betreff den Kristallenanzahl, trotzdem fehlt einiges ! Und schon des Schwierigkeitsgrades " Alptraum " angesetzt dafür gibt es Vier Speicherplätze wo jetzt alle meines sind !!! Ich komme da jetzt wirklich in " Fahrt " und soll schon vorbei sein !!!! Dafür Sitze ich von 8 bis 9 Stunden dran des Schwierigkeitsgrades und außerdem wird das langsam Taktisch !!!! Programmierungslöcher wo ich sehen aber das sage ich nicht !!!!

Are those graphic really enhanced? I just remembered how horrible the voice acting was in videogames back then.
jacobspencer04 yeah from what I remember it does look a lot better than the PS2 version, but it's definitely PS3 level not PS4 (this is from the PS4 version) the ps2 version already looked good though

Okay thanks for the quick response. One thing I hate more than anything when it comes to gaming is collectibles, especially in a game where backtracking isn't available.

It's a shame the voice acting is so bad because the game looks really cool. I think it would have been a great idea to have the npcs just make noises when they talked and have you read the dialogue.

I think this game had so much missed potential what if it was expanded and you could choose the type of person you want to be like someone who believes the way but no one believes in you, or an option for which village and animal you want to be and each animal village would have a different weapons preference and fighting style. And seriously have these people read Usagi Yojimbo come on
