About 7% of wars, deaths or violence are done in the name of Religion... Counting Islam that is. 3% is from Christianity and the rest are from non-religion/noninvolvement of a Deity. The total number of people killed by ALL of the crusades plus the Spanish Incuisition is something like 15 million in the span of about 500 years. Just in the last century, over 100 million have been killed by these people he mentioned plus several others, all of which denounced religion. Even this fighting in Isreal is more of a territory dispute than a religious war.

I have heard the number of wars started in the name of a religion only accounts for something like 15% of all wars in history.
The total number of people killed by ALL of the crusades plus the Spanish Incuisition is something like 15 million in the span of about 500 years.
Just in the last century, over 100 million have been killed by these people he mentioned plus several others, all of which denounced religion.
Even this fighting in Isreal is more of a territory dispute than a religious war.
