Congratulations, I recommend anyone whose looking for an affordable Blythe to try AliExpress, They got the name fake, I’m not a fan of it, because it’s nothing fake about them in my opinion, a lot of the beautiful custom Blythe dolls are these factory Blythes from AliExpress. I’m happy to hear you are happy with her. I’m planning to purchase an original Blythe (Takara) in the near future because I would love to compare them. Enjoy your new addition.
I agree. Many people that have the aliexpress Blythes, would NOT like the 1972 Blythes at all. Ha Ha These newer ones are really made well and have a LOT of articulation. ;-) I love them! I even like the cheaper made, not so articulated, ones. I have several of those too. Or they would only like the 1972s because of today's value, ey?

If it does not say '1972 KENNER' on the back of the head, it is NOT an Original. *All* others are NON ORIGINAL. And there is NOTHING WRONG with that. These AliExpress Restyled Blythe Dolls are better made than the Originals. The truth is, the Originals were unpopular and ended up Dead, Original Blythe Dolls were not made for very long at all. Then The Kenner Toy Co., went under. Hasbro bought Kenner in 1991. Takara did not start making Blythe Dolls til 2001..... The Blythe Dolls were remade, more than once. I am not even sure if Takara BOUGHT the Patten or if time had just run out on the Patten for these Blythe Dolls. I think in some doll circles people play the Kennel Ration Dog Food Game.....do you know what that is? Remember the old Kennel Ration Dog Food Jingle??? "My dog's better than your dog, my dog's better than yours. My dog's better cause he eats Kennel Ration, my dogs better than yours." Ha Ha Ha AND *THIS* is how we doll collectors become confused.
Oh So Cute! I really like the tones, that hair, so pretty. I LOVE my aliexpress Blythe Dolls, LOVE THEM! ;-) Not Fake, "Non Original". These newer Blythes have better plastics and more articulation in their bodies than the original. The original had click bend knees. Are you sure that your Customs were not Customized on the Aliexpress Bodies? That's what most/many of the sellers use.
