Freddie's famous quote "do what you want with my music. Just dont make it boring" inspired a lot of talented people like the struts to play the songs that inspire us
@@patrickmooney7459 I've seen Foxy live twice and while I LOVE their albums, both times Eric was breathless, scattered and vocally weak and it kills me because I know how could he can be. On the other hand the times I've seen Luke, he's been perfect. Every time.
He's certainly been influenced by Freddie, but if you want to hear Freddie's voice again (or the closest thing to it) check out Marc Martel's videos. :)
I’m a pretty big Queen fan that always believed there was no singer good enough to cover one of their songs and do it justice. The first song I ever heard by the Struts was “kiss this” on the radio. Before the song was done I was like, alright, this that dude!
The first time I saw these guys back in November 2018, I had been a fan for only about three days. I was so new to their music that I didn’t know any of their songs or the lyrics, but it was an absolutely fantastic show. I’ve always thought that Luke is like the love child of Freddie Mercury and Dr Frank N Furter, and the Queen influence is undeniable with these guys. I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing them cover Queen in the five times that I’ve seen them, but I would so love to. They totally nailed this cover, and I’m so glad that it exists. If anyone reading this is on the fence about seeing them live, this is your sign to go do it as soon as possible. Amazing band, and even more amazing shows.
Im in love. Tears in my eyes. Yes the covers are amazing but their songs are AMAZING too. Im so grateful they are confident enough to cover other artists. What a gift they are to us all.
this guy... the one guy that is one of the great personalities that measures against the greats... jagger, bowie, grohl, tyler, elton, roth... great showman, great entertainers, great voice.. gravitas...
I was at this show, in fact I was probably right behind the cameraman cause I had the most awesome spot right in front of Jed. 😍 This was one of the best shows I went to in 2019.
I'm smiling'! What a treat. Ian Hunter mentioned 'Struts' singer doing Freddie and Queen justice with his singing and stage presence....searched and found this. Nice.
Feels like a 70's comeback,Greta van fleet, this guys, and a kid i use to be with he's crazy about Guns,Queen,Guns,Queen,Guns,Queen and the thunderstruck main riff.
Wow nailed the solo sound as well as every blinkin other thing! Being old enough to have seen Freddy a few times I'm sure he'd have issued forth a 'bravo darling!' and perhaps redirected a cocaine backed dwarf in your direction!😆
Luke Spiller is a cross between Tim curry from the Rocky Horror Picture show and Freddie Mercury thank God!!! Rock is still alive what a great flamboyant frontman Luke Spiller is a Rock ⭐!!!!
Luke Spiller is so much more than a Freddie clone though... his range of pop is great and the band covers the musical styles of Dandy Warhols, Stereophonics or MUSE... great to see a new band taking the best of the past, mixing it all together, and giving us an energetic and musical performance in everything they do.
Freddie's famous quote "do what you want with my music. Just dont make it boring" inspired a lot of talented people like the struts to play the songs that inspire us
Luke is the entire package .. The best frontman vocalist to come around in 30+ years
True
I love Luke & the Struts, but anyone who has seen Foxy Shazam may have a different opinion.
Ahahahahahahahah

He's decent but Josh Kiska is way more of a better frontman
I have fallen in love with this band!! Luke is the best and most entertaining frontman!
This guy should have the queen gig. Looks like him too. 70's Freddie
I agree
He’d rather make his own way.
I swear if Freddie had a son...
What do you mean if, he has clearly sired at least one....
with Tim Curry...
So true
70's style
@@raychelmcguin Exactly XD
This is excellent! I never thought we’d have another Freddie & I am crying it’s so perfect!
My thoughts exactly..
I seen these guys in South Bend, Indiana and it was worth every penny they absolutely put in work to make it a good show. I mean that sweat is real!
Me too... 💕
He is not another Freddie, he is just Luke.
He's certainly been influenced by Freddie, but if you want to hear Freddie's voice again (or the closest thing to it) check out Marc Martel's videos. :)

Absolutely but The Struts are more like The New York Dolls than anything
I'm digging these guys ! I'm 69 .
Ha, I’m 61 sitting here thinking dam I want to go to their concert.
ME TOO !!!
Went for a drink with Luke the other day. Know him through a mutual hobby. Lives just a couple of miles from me. Really nice quiet guy off stage.
Freddie is reborn. FANTASTIC BAND.
Faithful cover and they had fun with it. These guys are a blast to watch. Luke embodies the presence of the very best 60s, 70s and 80s frontmen.
Wow! Mind blown. Freddy would be proud! Kick ass man!
Hi, I love you and Jesus does too! Try giving God a chance (if you haven’t), you won’t regret it! God bless you!

I think Freddie would approve. 😊
this guy... the one guy that is one of the great personalities that measures against the greats... jagger, bowie, grohl, tyler, elton, roth... great showman, great entertainers, great voice.. gravitas...

Im so giddy watching this, love this song and The Struts.
I'm surprised they haven't covered Queen until 4 years ago since the band is right up there alley, well done and hope to hear more Queen covers!
Luke can channel the persona of so many artists, in voice and actions.
I really didn't think I'd like this ... as a matter of fact I didn't want to like it either but wow ... impressive & exceptionally well done !
he's got the voice!
When you look so much like Freddie Mercury that your face is shaped the same way
I just found them. So much like Freddie! I can’t get enough of them.
Nice discovery...what a freaking awesome band
Awesome! One of my favorite bands covering one of my other favorite bands with one of my favorite songs of theirs. PERFECTION!
Just good music. Angelic. God gave us Freddie.

I was at this show, in fact I was probably right behind the cameraman cause I had the most awesome spot right in front of Jed. 😍 This was one of the best shows I went to in 2019.

I LIKE IT‼️
I would've died at the spot. Amazing.
This is the good stuff.
Ya baby!!!
Why he wasn't the star of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the new lead singer of Queen is an absolaute mystery. I mean come on world!
why does adam look like he's on the verge of tears ahaha
Luke Spiller is a cross between Tim curry from the Rocky Horror Picture show and Freddie Mercury thank God!!! Rock is still alive what a great flamboyant frontman Luke Spiller is a Rock ⭐!!!!

Luke Spiller is so much more than a Freddie clone though... his range of pop is great and the band covers the musical styles of Dandy Warhols, Stereophonics or MUSE... great to see a new band taking the best of the past, mixing it all together, and giving us an energetic and musical performance in everything they do.
Brillante lo de esta Banda Gran cover de Queen
Casa tua è casa mia
And why did Queen team up with Roger instead of this guy??? Bravo!
Dump Adam Lambert and replace the shows with Queen + Luke Spiller & The Struts for sure.
queen did what
A ver como no se va a parecer a Freddy. Por diooos 👌😲
Saw this tour at the Warfield , it was perfection... but they didn't do this one
And... nobody filmed with their cam/phones... and i mean nobody!
