Yep, I also think she's really great with cards such as Cyclops in an HE deck (ironic I know) or control in general. The fact she also protects your Lizard and Nebula also works really well. Alioth is another great card to combine with her too.
@shai310 I was running a just for fun deck with jean, guardians, jeff, spiderman and alioth. Turned out pretty well. Being able to have a guaranteed guardian hit and moving them on the same turn to open up for alioth was really satisfying. Kitty ran over me though. :(
You're so right about Echo. I run a Jean Gray / Echo deck that took me from 90 to Infinite and I can't tell you how many times someone would slap a Prof X or Devil Dino on the Jean/Echo lane. Both are underrated. Great video, thanks!

I know you touched on it but I'm surprised more people aren't talking about downgrades. There hasn't been a single downgrade for MONTHS! If they aren't doing downgrades anymore, then they just need to say so and remove the little "More Cards coming soon!" from the Mystery Series 3 section of the shop.
They did say they were temporarily stopping series drops back when the spotlight system was introduced. The reason they gave was to build up a pool of s4 and s5 cards so that spotlights could provide some variety, and then they'd resume series drops. It feels like they're waaaay past that point though. It really is about time for series drops to come back.
I honestly think changing Miguel to destroy a card every time he moves to a location instead of only the first time would be a sick change, might be too cracked though idk, what do you think?
I dont think it would be too strong but Im scared second dinner would think that its too oppressive, but his cost already prevent him from moving too much
i feel like cozy has the best outlook on cards in this game, he truly grinds with them in so many different shells you can always trust his decks to perform consistently and in a fun way too
Alioth is so fun! My fav deck I’ve made with him is a mix of the previously popular little movers deck with some lockdown. Got me to infinite and some infinity tickets. Cards are: Nebula, Silk, Kraven, Jeff, Daredevil, Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Shang-Chi, Legion, Prof X, Alioth, and Chavez
Thanos really lost his shine. Just really feels clunky with the Soul Stone nerf. I would prefer they took out the -1 to each card on the opponent's side and keep the cycling ability. Without the draw it's another clutter in your own deck. I played a Thanos control deck even after the nerf, and it just really felt bad.
I've won a fair share of games leaving a spot, Jean's lane and with Goose on turn 4/5, which forces the opponent to play a small card there (if they have). I've even paired with Master Mold to guarantee the condition (not really worth, but I had some fun trying)
@cozy this was a really valuable video for me to plan my collection ! thanks! would you consider putting out a followup on this video maybe once a month or so that shows us how the cards are moving up or down tiers in value? getting a sense of the temporal trend of value for these cards would be really useful for me

Jean at 3, destroy, then phoenix force at 5. You'd only be able to dictate your opponent's play for 1 turn (turn 6), not every turn... Unless they magik or something

I have Stegron saved because I love moving my opponent’s cards. Also helps that he’s series 4 and not in any data mined future caches. Last I checked, I had 5,950 tokens (can they just give folks like me 50 tokens? I got a 50 token pull that now is literally worthless) so I’m in shape to get him and of course Mobius next week!
I wish Spiderman 2099 worked like Alioth where he can destroy something that hasn't been revealed yet, befor Alioth this was something that could never make it into the game but now I see it as something that could make the card better
Taking 20% of the draw from a Thanos deck has really hurt. I have been trying for 2 days to get above 1:5 and the No Draw from Soul Stone has been bitter. Until Thanos gets buffed/returned, he is like C+; ino.
Yeah, draw on stones makes the deck function like a normal deck. It doesn't need to be on Soul, maybe draw on Power Stone? He just feels too inconsistent to get your cards when Stones don't draw
Snow guard going from F to S is something we would've never thought lol Kang should have the ability to let you see the opponents entire hand then rewind the turn. Ravona needs to be a 1 cost lol

Human torch, multiple man, carnage, venom, deathlok, phoenix force, iron lad, task master, alioth, and chavez! The last two slots can either be nimrod and Shuri to use some of the destroy package, or jubilee and dagger to try to make the combo more consistent. It’s tough to play, but you get priority last round and steal a lane with an unexpected alioth, and the cubes come rolling in!
I wish they would just make 2099 have the same ability as nightcrawler. Its simple not too OP, and has the move key work in it ability like all other spidernmans
Missed opportunity Cozy! You said people use Kang when they aren't confident, then a few minutes later you say you're not not confident in where you're placing Knull. Would have been hilarious to put it in S. Then Kang animation. Then play it again to low A. XD
I'd put Pheonix Force in C Tier, pairing her with Multiple Man is such a fun combo that nobody is prepared for. It becomes Vision but if Vision left behind copies everywhere it goes.
It's hard to answer Phoenix Force'd Multiple Man, especially since he's under the Shang-Chi threshold. If you're able to get MM down & destroyed early and then play Phoenix Force as soon as you're able to, GGs.
I think the problem with PF is that it's a pretty hefty combo. You need Multiple Man on 2/3, Destroy on 3/4, and then PF on 4/5. You can't have any other cards get destroyed or you risk messing up the combo (so you can be hit hard by location variance). And it's a very telegraphed combo so it can be countered by armor or cards that put things on your side of the board. When it works, it's great, but that's the important part, WHEN it works. Most other combos are either two card combos or soft combos. Due to the unreliability, I don't personally think it should be above C.
Oh neat, I surprisingly have all the ones under S, A, and B so I guess I'm not missing out much by not having those cards. I'm also missing Howard as well so I guess I'm missing the best card out of all of them, unfortunate.
I want Mobius but I've got Legion pinned but he's not in a spotlight any time soon. I hate using a spotlight on a 3k card, but Mobius seems super strong and not one to miss.

I opened 4 spotlight caches last week (I'm series 3 complete and had none of the cards available). The second one I opened I got 1,000 Tokens and couldn't believe it. How is there not better duplicate protection than that for someone who is missing quite a few S4/5 cards. It feels so bad to use these prized spotlight caches for card acquisition and not be guaranteed a new card - in weeks where I own a card or two I have a larger chance of getting a variant or 1,000 tokens than getting a card and that sucks. I buy a season pass every once in a while so I'm not completely free to play and I really like the game. I feel like I was increasing my collection more consistently before the spotlight cache change. Opening caches was way more fun, and yes, I pulled random cards from caches but I also got way more tokens/gold from them that allowed me to purchase the cards I wanted to target in the shop. Idk, this new system just feels worse in my opinion. I opened 30 collectors caches a while ago and it felt so bad that decided I won't open anymore until they change it again.
Master Mold is hilarious to me, because he can't even match the power of the cards he gives to the opponent. I have tried for months to make a Ronan shell work, but I've just had to face facts - it's an F-tier deck.
I was thinking the same - maybe reduce the power and make it destroy the next card played in the lane - that way you keep the card but is still countered by a sacrificial 1 cost so not broken
I made a ronan clutter deck, which the clutter/clog archetype and threw in master mold, maximus, and ronan. I love sniping players kitty’s with master mold and I’ve gotten a few raft snipes as well. I think making him a 2-3 or a 2-4 would be great, but ultimately collector and loki running around makes him bad. Remove those cards from the meta, master mold is solid C or B tier.
Gotta be honest, I was super underwhelmed by Loki and I never play against it, no one in infinite has been playing him and no one in conquest has been playing him. I don’t think he really synergizes too well with anyone but collector and I think he’s tough to make decks for too.

Phoenix Force hitting Jean Grey, while isn't busted, is a heck of a lot of fun. You can dictate where your opponent plays every turn.

New player here. Just started with a basic loki deck. I got snowguard in the spotlight and dont regret it at all.
