We human beings have short memories. Dave Allen has been in some brutal wars and it wasn't long ago, when Eddie Hearn was worried about Dave's mental and physical health.
Eddie hearn used him as cannon fodder for his upcoming prospects . He doesn't give a fuck about dave allen
So worried he kept chucking him in the deep end as long as he made a pound note
Was only worried for him once he couldn’t make a few quid and the intrest behind him dried up.
Hearn was never worried about anything apart from money.
His treatment of Allen ended up being pretty disgusting.

Eddie H deep down was more bothered about annoying Warren than looking after Dave. He manipulated Dave into not taking the Dubois fight (by asking for money after he had already agreed on a fee) just to wind up Bricktop. Eddie should have dropped Dave a bag from that bit of negligent advice.

Dave is a good man with a good heart and tough as old boots and I suppose is example of old school boxer who has had piss took out of him by people he put faith in and trusted eh? Dave is just not an elite fighter. He's just a guy who can fight. Put in with big names too early. But hey ho. I hope he gets a British champ fight. But I don't think he does it. But I love the guy
