It's crazy that they are pumping out such great knives at the prices they hit, definatly one of the best buys out there. Love the full size ones and the action looks sweet on all of them. Thanks for the look see and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
I’ve been rocking the large drift in vanax for a little bit now and it’s really surprised new. The knife itself is edc perfection and QC’s heat treat sense to be great so far. It can screaming sharp and I love how thin the entire knife is. Both handle and blade stock are super thin. It disappears in pocket with the profile and wire clip. I’ve hated every wire clip I’ve tried up until this thing. I LOVE how QC has done theirs. Super solid clip.
The detent on my Zen is so hard I can't front flip it at all. It fires like a gun on the regular flipper and after a while I could use the hole but the front flipper is useless for now. Might have to either weaken the lockbar or sink the detent ball in more.
Kunwu is on point with the build quality and action. I wish the detent on the hole deployment was stronger on the Zen. But I like a strong detent, so you have to mean to deploy it. Can't wait for the Tao S in the other steel they are planning for, for a wharnie and sheepsfoot work blade I want edge retention over stainlessness all day.
@@allenchhou997 I don't mind the Kunwu name. They are pretty damn affordable and I would say around the same quality as We & Bestech only they are about $100 cheaper
I have the standard Zen and the detent is too strong for me to use the front flipper. Funny thing is, detent seemed to have increased it was fine when the knife first arrived and was able to use all deployments.
One reason makers don't use Vanax is its expensive and a pain to heat treat properly. Big props to Kunwu for making a knife in it and with what looks like a solid heat treatment of 60-62hrc which is impressive since Vanax takes some effort to break 60hrc and 62 is about as hard as it can hit(maybe a bit harder but not much).
I can't believe they didn't send you IMO there best knife all though they are all good but I think the Orion 2 is the best or my favorite. Great video Kev.
@@LeftyEDC I won't hold ya to it but did you think it was as good as the ones you opened possibly better. Reason, I can't buy everyone myself to check. Keep up the great work and I still like the Truck vids.. it's orginal Og from back in the day. Put you on the map!! I remember your second or 3rd video. Been here since the beginning. Anyway good luck to you and your Knife Co.👍
@@zbaird3 thanks man! Appreciate your support. I would not put the Orion 2 with these. The one i had the detent was weak and it was flipper only. I like these for having more deployments and mostly sheepsfoot blades.
Wow. I’m impressed with KunWu. Haven’t seen a knife company produce so many beauties
Crazy multi deployment love the sheep’s foot - just ordered it - thank you lefty

Who doesn't like a good reach around especially in the morning Great video man
Great stuff as always Kevin. If you need someone to test the full size Zen for 6 or 7yrs please let me know. lol 😂
I really want to try one of these I just hate waiting weeks to get my knife 😂 I’m a next day air kinda buyer lmao
The first Kunwu I ordered took forever! However, the second one only took 2 weeks

KunWu has some amazing craftsmanship, Maxace and Rike do as well
ngl the for kevin tag was a badass touch, gotta try kunwu now...plus elmax
would be cool to see a wharnie from them. i like the multiple deployment methods and no flipper tab sticking out where you’d want to choke up
Kudos for the reversible pocket clip, which must exist for me to consider a knife. Nice!
Is the sheep's foot toa super thin behind the edge?
I dont recall but they usually do a great job
If the medium sized Tao had the thumb disks like on the X-tao, it would be amazing.
Bolster lock some of those and this lefty is on board pretty cool stuff!
I looked for the multi row bearings on the Skiff website. Didn’t see them for the Yeager. What size?
6mm 1/16 16 ball
@@LeftyEDC thanks bro. I used the chart on his website and ordered some yesterday
Do the kunwu knives come from China if you order from their website?
I think so but they switched to DHL so its much faster. Just got a package in 3 days

Kunwu needs to change their name, like TwoSun. Makes the knife sounds something cheap from Asia.

Huh strange
Wonder if Kunwu is the OEM for Quiet Carry 🤔
QC says Taiwan
Quiet Carry is Taiwan
Thanks!🤜💥🤛

Tao has the perfect blade finish imo! It's just not pocket jewelry without some shine. Downside I don't want to use.
Kunwu kills knife knisigns thanks 4 sharing kev
All this time I thought the buzz was a copy from Kunwu. You cleared it.
🤣
@@LeftyEDC Kunwu needs to change name to something more spectacular than Chinese. I have 5 Kunwu knives and they are great.
Awesome knives! Great video 👍
Those are really good looking models 👍
Nice video Man, Sweet blade you got there, Cheers!
They should change the name of it to the Kunwu footlong.
Very nice!

Kevin, you need to get that right thumbnail swapped out for a adamantium plate.
Seriously
Give them to me? 😂😂
Burping on the microphone is really gross.
🤣. Also very hard to remember where and when to edit it out. Not worth it. Excuse myself and move on.
