Thank you for this helpful guide. I have the K30 too. Does it have a low light feature for the screen and finger print lights? I'm concerned the LCD screen will burn out because it's constantly on.

Hi - unfortunately none of the ZKTeco products have screen dimming capabilities, or not that I am aware of, and I have been importing and selling them since 2004

They only have a screen saving feature were they will turn to an image, and also some devices like the F2S fingerprint reader does go off, and back on as soon as it detects a finger, but that one has a white light.

Thank you for the reply. Is there a way to access the attendance log file directly using Internet Explorer or MS Word without needing to install the ZKteco software?
