Kohli was essentially walking into Konstas’ line, expecting him to get out of the way and defer to his stardom, therefore avoiding any contact. Konstas didn’t, and that’s what agitated Kohli. FairPlay to him.

Has Gideon put a well placed finger print on the camera, Pete side of the video seems "smudged" a fraction......or it could be lens flare because of the light coming through the open space of trees.

Kholi just said "nice tash bro"... Konstas said "you should try just for men"

All match referee rulings should be mandated to be consistent with previous rulings for similar offenses, and punished players should be able to appeal against punishments by citing previous rulings on similar incidents, similar how legal precedents are used in the court system. Considering all the things previous Australian players have got away with, would be interesting to see. Ponting barging into 19 year old Harbhajan after getting out to him comes to mind.

The Head dismissal is a perfect example of why Steve Smith was out twice this series with DRS showing the ball hitting the bails but saved by the infamous umpire’s call rule. Head was on his toes , ball missed his pads at that height and still hit the bails. If that ball had hit his pads , feel the on field call would have been not out and DRS would have shown umpire’s call on hitting stumps leaving him not out.

Pete is starting to look quite suave on the telly. Hope the print isn’t fading from his veins.

I agree I dont mind Siraj going to batsman and saying a few words because he is getting smashed by the batsman, and he is getting his frustration out and want to see if he could intimidate the batsman and get a wicket.
But Virat's action is very unlike a seasoned sportman who has been playing the game for almost 17 years and acts like a bully in the field against a 19 year old debutant much less.

In the manual is player contact regarded as less or more serious as ball tampering ?

Are you serious? They got 1 year ban because of it. You wanna justify Kohli's pathetic behaviour by bringing up what happened 10 years ago? Lmao go right ahead little fanboy.

@@_A.t.g You need to remember the 1 year ban was not the official ICC sanction, I don't think Warner received any penalty from ICC, Steve Smith banned for 1 match, and Bancroft only got demerit points and could have played the next match. The harsh sanctions were given by Cricket Australia only.

Kohli is baggage. He does not make runs and takes focus away from cricket. He is a walking wicket!!

Media going gaga on Sam. How come a reckless, lucky 60 creates a cricket star. Aussies so desperate for a star? Didnt see a single classy, non slog boundry from him. Time will tell of his quality in Tests. Tubby by his logic of fearlessness and bazzball (on another podcast), tail end sloggers are fearless, rising batting stars as well!!

We know who "WON" when Kohli decided to ASSAULT Konstas on the field. The change of line is clear. Win for Konstas. Will any "UMPIRE" do anything? NO. BCCI dollars.....

Seeing complaints of Kohli’s behavior - easy to forget how Ricky ponting behaved after he had won - one time physically pushed the presenter off stage grabbing the trophy. Doesn’t mean Kohli needs to do the same. - but just noting the fact that we easily forget previous bad behavior from the aussies. Public memory is indeed short.
