Rin Arisato OH MAN I WOULD LOVE NEERUBIAN ALLIED RACE!!! Anub’arak is one of my favorite characters. That would be so totes awesome, although Mantid would probably be the easiest to make an allied race. Was extremely disappointed with Azjol’nerub in wrath. A giant underground city, and one of the shortest dungeons in all of WoW
Nope nope nope nope, Nerubians can die in Deathwing's fire and then be throne into the Firelands where the ashes shall be burnt into even more ash as the Legion takes those ashes and burns them into nothingness. Although I will agree with Anub'arak being cool, I loved him in Warcraft 3, he's my main tank in Heroes, and I always love going back to the tourny to fight and kill him. And Azjol'nerub was disappointing, it was so massive spanning most (if not all) of the northern hemisphere of Azeroth.
It was this chain that made me sad that they kinda wasted hellscream by turning him into a villian the way they did. I may be remembering wrong but it seemed like he did a complete 180 rather than give a build up to him going completely bonkers from the whispering of Y'shaarj's heart. Least I think that's what drove him nuts, might need to refresh my information.
Love your videos. About the Dirt Bros. Because Illidan was getting trained alongside Malfy and then Cenarius said he had others who had tried, they didn't have it in their hearts. In this way Malfy is still first druid and we have followers of Cenarius.(I made this name up.) I just made myself sad thinking about Cenarius and War of the Ancients.Guess I'll have to do Mt. Hyjal on my leveling series. :D
"Mercy... Chieftan, on this day, I learn from you." Goosebumps. It's awesome to see someone as hot-blooded as Garrosh have moments of humility and integrity. Makes you wanna root for your warchief
I think you should do the story of the worgen starting zone, Then Silver pine forest. The two zones are very connected story wise and I think the story also goes on into the Plague lands.
When Garrosh actually was having character development instead of butchery. Sylvannes fanboys made blizzard turn Garrosh crazy and stupid evil instead of Sylvannes. Who actually had character development into being evil. And now after they killed Garrosh they still make Sylvannes the evil person. As for the next video. I would love to see Instead of a zone. More on the full history of the scarlet crusade. Since according to the death knight order hall campaign. Their last remaining forces had yet again found shelter in the monastery. Is it really the end for them, it'd be a shame.
Garrosh was turned crazy because at the time people would literally rather have a basic campfire as war chief than him. People absolutely fucking hated him, not just Sylvanas fans, everyone. I think Garrosh had potential but they ruined him by making him war chief too soon, people didn't like him in wrath and they absolutely screwed themselves by having him replace Thrall who was still massively popular at the time. Varian had a similar problem where people didn't like him in wrath but nobody cared about Bolvar so it wasn't that big of a deal that he replaced him.
I loved Garrosh as the leader of the Horde, this may be biased as I started in Cata. I really liked his strong hand in Horde affairs and also the idea that he brought back of power to the Horde and away with the Alliance.
I hate when people call these characters "Evil" as Sylvanas especially has/have many shades of grey. Pay attention and look at it from their perspective. She isn't doing anything without a purpose. She's just not afraid to look like the bad guy if it means saving her people and progressing the Horde's power. Even in the Windrunner comic we found out she was being honest when she said she was loyal to the Horde. Please stop just throwing blame carelessly around. People like you are the reason we have this separating in the Horde.
AlexadoFeel The Scarlet Crusade members which were there was due to blizz, as they oft do, forgetting their own story threads. Lillian Voss and the player characters massacred the Monestary in cata and panda. Voss even acquired the secret membership roster and started hunting down any which were left. The last place any survivors should be is the first place Voss would trap and check for survivors. Blizz forgot that or neglected that fact though because they wanted enemies for the deathless dk to fight. They literally wrote them out of the story, and then forgot.
If you’re still taking suggestions Nobbel, why don’t we do Desolace next? That IS one of the two locations Garrosh suggests we go next after this, yes? ;)
Literally yesterday I was leveling an NElf alt and was sent to Stonetalon Mountains but couldn't really be bothered to do the zone because mountains are a pain to navigate in WoW, talk about timing.
I'd like to see a video about Desolace and Maraudon, if you already haven't, how it has changed from Classic to the Cataclysm and the quests in the zone! For example, you had to head down there for the Onyxia attunement quest on the Horde side and for a pre-quest to the Scarlet Monastery!
I absolutely hate how much of a disservice they did to Garrosh. He had massive potential to be a fair and just ruler. I also hate how the writers completely abandoned Garrosh's ideals of honor.
Stonetalon! Back in Vanilla this was the first town I ever raided. Training wheels for actual PvP I know, but we were all young and learning back then :P
Honestly this is what killed me about the 180 they did with Garrosh. They spent all this time in Northrend making him learn from Saurfang and calming him down to what you see here. It seemed like he really changed thanks to Saurfang and then Blizzard turned him generic super evil. It was like all of that never happened at all and made this scene just pointless. Edit: Southern Barrens!
I agree. Being a fan of the Alliance vs Horde rivalry, I find any zone where there is conflict between the two factions, thats where I prefer to level. Thats why Stonetalon Mountains, Southern Barrens, and Ashenvale are my favorite low level zones to level both factions in.
Let me just make this note. I was in the US Army and obviously had to follow OIF very closely. Blizzard made a parallel with what president Bush did and at 12:10 with “it was only a school for young druids-“ “-there were no weapons of mass destruction” looks like blizzard storytellers for Cata had a few veterans. :)
Does anyone else notice that In wow nowadays that the amount of xp required to level up is much higher than before yet the xp given at the end of quests seems to stay the same as before? Seriously I played through the hinterlands recently. I started at lvl 30 and finished at lvl 32 and a half full xp bar.
I still remember this storyline, and I loved it (as a horde player). I wasn't to sure about Garrosh until that point. And at the end of this story, I thought "wait... right here, he does look like he gets how the horde should be." It was a great moment for the character, showing he might be a good warchief. And then he... changed. Maybe they should have given him more situations like this, to show people his growth into a leader. I still think having him learn more from Saurfang until he gets to be warchief would have worked really well. He was "to new" and a hothead, it would have served him to get more of a character developement (also because most people like Saurfang, seeing him learn under him would have raised the acceptance of Garrosh as a leader later on) But they rushed him into the leader position to fast, people didn't like it and the rest was... a rather bad storyline (in my opinion)
How about Tanaris? Some explanation of bandits, sand trolls, Twilight's cultists and aquir bugs... ...and Caverns of Time + flooding of the zone. And quest chain for pirate's booty and drink. Or Winterspring, but nothing exciting happens in its southern region, after Cataclysm revamp.
Into the Barrens to continue the war. As BfA leads to a new Faction War, I noticed there was never really any videos specifically about the previous faction war.
I want to see the next video go to the far north. With the coming of the Burning of Teldrassil, it should be best to cover the night elf starting zones of Teldrassil and Darkshore.
Sends bomb off with dialogue...waits 30 seconds...such a LONG time of waiting, they could have done dialogue AS the bomb traveled and it would at least filled the space and not seemed fake lol
after thinking about it a bit, blizzard could make stonetalon add to garroshs story instead of be an outlier. krom'gar killed innocents. that could refer to the horde members that krom'gar had slain. laid waste to the land when garrosh wanted it to fuel the horde. remove the bit about children (unless krom'gar killed horde children) and it actually makes sense for his character. it would mean he was never against bombing a place, just the unhonorable actions taken.
Garrosh never changed Let’s not forgot that Theramore was fortified and stockpiled with tanks of peace when it was mana nuked Other than using the power of the old gods when he was cornered, Garrosh was always honorable, and even honored the rules of Mok’Gora, unlike Thrall
0:29 - well the Oracle was acutally legendary being: Thrall: To the Oracle. What is it? Cairne Bloodhoof: Legends say that it saw the strands of fate as they were woven by the Earth Mother. It alone can show you your destiny. So it can't be Medivh (in the end he is just there - he is not called 'Oracle' because Cairne know about it long before Medivh's mission to unite all Azeroth races against Burning Legion) but other mystery being.
Ok - the title. What about the legends about Oracle that Cairne talked about? I assume that those stories were known way before Medivh travel to Kalimdor. So in my opinion as Warcraft 3 campaign player - it not make sense that Oracle (mentioned by Cairne in legends) and Medivh are same beings. And as you may know it was probably made by designers later - to name Medivh as oracle. For later storyline in WoW for example it probably make sense, but for someone who know well lore before WoW - it's not. And by the way also what about topics like why if we compare Warcraft 3 maps of Azeroth and WoW there are some differences in locations of some known places? Like Vandermar Village from this first mission of Undead Campaign or Black Citadel/Temple in TFT Human Campaign or even Illidan storyline from Warcraft 3 to WoW Legion? Maybe the answer is that (as David Fried - one of the original Warcraft 3 designers answered to me about this problem): "The differences between WoW and War 3 were byproducts of being different games with different level designers and very little oversight on cohesion. It was up to the individual area designers of WoW to use or not use as much of War III as they wanted. Similarly when we made the War III maps, we loosely looked at maps and areas from Warcraft lore, but most of us just made whatever served the gameplay best." " Thrall: That voice. You're no oracle! You're the prophet! The Prophet: Very perceptive, son of Durotan. I am the prophet. And, now, that I've lured you all here, I will tell you what destiny holds. " So in the end - for me Oracle was just Oracle from legends, and Medivh was just prophet who know where Thrall and Jaina will come, and Medivh, if legends about Oracle, true or not - he came there to be "oracle" for them.
This is the Garrosh that is my warchief. He was butchered by the Blizzard devs as an easy way out. I loved this Garrosh, the one who held up honor, who asked Sylvanas how she was different from the Lich King, who only wanted land and resources for his people. His destruction of Theramore and the events in Tides of War was just Blizzard trying to turn him into an mustache- twirling, cackling Saturday morning cartoon villain. It's sad.
ey nobbel always asked me who is stronger the horde or the alliance in the military issue considering that the new expansion arrives who do you think is stronger in azeroth on this issue? you could upload a video about this
I just don't get why they changed Garrosh so much. Imagine if we still had him now, a leader ready for war, but still honorable and willing to learn (like in this video).
Grey World Yeah the Focusing Iris is one of a kind and the Kirin Tor is holding onto it new mana bombs wont be anywhere near as strong as the Theramore one.
The Kirin Tor did no make any mana bombs at all. And the mana bomb used on Theramore was special, because it hold the Focusing Iris, which severly increased its power. After the destruction of Theramore Jaina reclaimed the Focusing Iris (which seems to be a very resilient artifact). She then tried to destroy Orgrimmar with it. Thrall and Kalecgos talked her out of that endevour and convinced her to hand the artifact to the Kirin Tor.
I love how this is just a way for him to level his allied races well making vids
LOL well you know it is a good way to get kill 2 birds with 1 stone . allied race gets leveled and you get a lore video too
08:40 A Nightborne lady with a whip. Perfection.

The Desolace quest chain has heavy lore implications for the centaur. Hopefully Blizz comes back to it in the future
I love how Nobbel didnt mention Desolace as an option so he doesnt have to do it :D
Talk2theHand1993 i actually really like Desolace. The ending with the centaur clans has massive implications that still havent been touched upon
grennbalze Same with the nerubians that still live.
Centaur allied race, maybe Nerubian allied race.
WowTholyn Nope nope nope, no Nerubians, no Mantid, no A'kir or N'raqi of any kind, bugs are gross playable bugs even more so.
Rin Arisato OH MAN I WOULD LOVE NEERUBIAN ALLIED RACE!!! Anub’arak is one of my favorite characters. That would be so totes awesome, although Mantid would probably be the easiest to make an allied race.

Quizical Gin They just ruined his character, they had him do this then a year later had him nuke Theramore.
Closer to four years and i still say he was behind this bombing too.
How I wish we could go back in time and change things, so we could end up with this Garosh as WarChief. Even to this day
This zone was when Blizzard won me over with Garrosh... then they gave in to fan pressure. :(
Garrosh was a piece of shit person and a general idiot.
I loved stonetalon mountains as a horde player, just witnessing the warchief appearing and tell you what it means to be horde.
God I miss Garrosh
Love your videos.
About the Dirt Bros. Because Illidan was getting trained alongside Malfy and then Cenarius said he had others who had tried, they didn't have it in their hearts. In this way Malfy is still first druid and we have followers of Cenarius.(I made this name up.)

You could show the Worgon-Forsaken war
Robert Mills to Silverpine!
Perfect timing Nobbel!
hi Vindsvept!
Ahoy there Hayim :)
15:09
So much for that, huh Garry?
This makes me sad :"(
How about Silithus? Considering it's been destroyed in recent times, a look back on the catacylsm era of the zone might be apt.
Nothing good ever came from Silithus.
Nobbel87 - Never Stop Doing These Videos! Kind Regards, David! Thank you for Everything!
Just what I needed - new video from Nobbel :D
1:15 The Horde: The Inglorious Bastards XD
I think you should do the story of the worgen starting zone, Then Silver pine forest. The two zones are very connected story wise and I think the story also goes on into the Plague lands.

how much ya wanna bet the fanatical draenei from AU draenor convert the remenants of the scarlet crusade ?
Every time i hear Garrosh's Speach, it sends chills down my spine
I'm a simple guy. I see new Nobel lore video, I watch and like.
this was awsome, Nobbel, you are really good with the lore of warcraft and i wish you take the road to the berens :)
Nice vid nobbel, I would suggest some BC content like Bloodmyst Isle since its quest chain is related to the new races that were implemented back then
If you’re still taking suggestions Nobbel, why don’t we do Desolace next? That IS one of the two locations Garrosh suggests we go next after this, yes? ;)
I never played the alliance side of this quest but the horde side one is one of the few older quests I remember well and also enjoyed.
Literally yesterday I was leveling an NElf alt and was sent to Stonetalon Mountains but couldn't really be bothered to do the zone because mountains are a pain to navigate in WoW, talk about timing.
I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG

Why not desolece
S. F. P. Thats why i wanna know XD
Desolace is like, the most boring zone in world of warcraft.

*GIANT SWORD FROM SKY STABS DESOLACE*
13:35 I can't help but think of this as an interaction between starscream and megatron, with the voice...
Snobbel? What a name for a Nightbourne xD Love it!
I just finished both sides of Stonetallon mountain amazing
Please do the barrens next keep it horde vs alliance, because of BFA's theme
well if you do the barrens next you know you have to talk about Mankrik's Wife :3
woah, I was looking for a vid like this like a month or so ago
Does anyone else notice that In wow nowadays that the amount of xp required to level up is much higher than before yet the xp given at the end of quests seems to stay the same as before? Gnomegen is my favourite allied race idea
Garrosh: i am a murder krom'gar?
Me: ..... Oh really....
fuck, i loved this version of Garrosh. Im so mad they decided to make him a villain. At his best he was truly a great leader..
The plague lands!
As BfA leads to a new Faction War, I noticed there was never really any videos specifically about the previous faction war.
lol Garosh talking about killing of innosents. Theramore flashbacks incomming :D
Desolace would be very interesting. so much mystery in that zone
Please continue with the war in Southern Barrens!!
Hey Nobbel i would be interested in a Desolace story! :)
With BFA soon sticking with the alliance horde conflict in southern barrens might be a good option =D
I for one would like you to cover the story of the Redridge mountains.
hi Nobbel, can you do a video about the lore that you need to know going into BFA? For people like me that have missed the legion expansion.
1:19 he is a softy after all :D
I want to see the next video go to the far north. With the coming of the Burning of Teldrassil, it should be best to cover the night elf starting zones of Teldrassil and Darkshore.
#suggestion Nobble could you possible do a list of the best leveling zones that are rich in story? thank you and great video as always
0:34 - yeah, but what about Talon Den at Stonetalon Peak?
Sends bomb off with dialogue...waits 30 seconds...such a LONG time of waiting, they could have done dialogue AS the bomb traveled and it would at least filled the space and not seemed fake lol
Would you be able to cover the old zones? I would love to see a video about Vanilla Westfall
Southern Barrens, let's see if we can keep this going as if a Goblin player
after thinking about it a bit, blizzard could make stonetalon add to garroshs story instead of be an outlier. krom'gar killed innocents. that could refer to the horde members that krom'gar had slain. laid waste to the land when garrosh wanted it to fuel the horde. remove the bit about children (unless krom'gar killed horde children) and it actually makes sense for his character. it would mean he was never against bombing a place, just the unhonorable actions taken.
Okay Nobbel, next story to cover is old Silithus.
We ofc need to move on to the southern Barrens
Feralas would be interesting
As much as questing there sucks I do think Desolace would make a good video because it has interesting history after Chronicle.
Garrosh never changed
Let’s not forgot that Theramore was fortified and stockpiled with tanks of peace when it was mana nuked
Other than using the power of the old gods when he was cornered, Garrosh was always honorable, and even honored the rules of Mok’Gora, unlike Thrall
Continue with The Barrens, please! I need to know where Mankrik's wife is.
0:29 - well the Oracle was acutally legendary being:
Thrall: To the Oracle.
Medivh was the oracle. ua-cam.com/video/jMR0VE2WXTw/v-deo.htmlm37s & title given to him in the uvg
Ok - the title. What about the legends about Oracle that Cairne talked about? I assume that those stories were known way before Medivh travel to Kalimdor. "
Thrall: That voice. You're no oracle! You're the prophet!
The Prophet: Very perceptive, son of Durotan. I am the prophet. And, now, that I've lured you all here, I will tell you what destiny holds.
"
So in the end - for me Oracle was just Oracle from legends, and Medivh was just prophet who know where Thrall and Jaina will come, and Medivh, if legends about Oracle, true or not - he came there to be "oracle" for them.
Southern Barrens. Never forget Camp Taurajo.
Overlord Krom'gar Starscream
have a great day :D
Hey @nobble87 i was wondering if you can do some lore off The Doomwalker in Shadowmoon Vally ( Outland ) And the Fel Reaver tnx
Tell us a story of a tricky zone, Wintergrasp.
garrosh>> am i a murderer gromgar? me>> YES!
I don't like how they just dropped his planned development. It was a huge promising path for him.
The lore master Nobel
you should do tanaris
Slaap lekker alvast
"THEY CAME FROM...behind!"
I actually loved this garrosh wish they didn't need to change him for the sake of ending an expansion
Any chance you are going/have done a video on Magni Bronzebeard?
You should do a vid on the venture co.
It's sad.
ey nobbel always asked me who is stronger the horde or the alliance in the military issue considering that the new expansion arrives who do you think is stronger in azeroth on this issue? you could upload a video about this
i think i read somewhere that there is an ancient evil buried beneath the mountains, might be wrong though
Silverpine and Gilneas next!
Vote for Barrans here, so much there with pre and after cata I'm sure I did not find out.
*whispers in Nobbel's ear*: WHO IS SUSAN WINDRUNNER!
Garrosh said the choice is yours, do as your warchief says xD
you could do the Forsaken Invation over gilneas ?
Barrens next please :)
if ONLY Garrosh stayed that way I'd be 100% behind him
So is the earth mother really just the world soul? Its not the elemantal lord of earth. Shes called the stone mother
Duskwood Lore!!
I just don't get why they changed Garrosh so much. Imagine if we still had him now, a leader ready for war, but still honorable and willing to learn (like in this video).
Gnome worgens..?? Aren't we getting the vulpera anyways during BFA?
Barren Chat!
Is this bomb bigger then the mana bomb?
Can we get another history of character video?
Runicknight wait I thought that eye that the bomb was made from was the only one.
Grey World Yeah the Focusing Iris is one of a kind and the Kirin Tor is holding onto it new mana bombs wont be anywhere near as strong as the Theramore one.
Reign oh ok but when did the Kirin tor make another? And why?
The Kirin Tor did no make any mana bombs at all. And the mana bomb used on Theramore was special, because it hold the Focusing Iris, which severly increased its power. After the destruction of Theramore Jaina reclaimed the Focusing Iris (which seems to be a very resilient artifact). She then tried to destroy Orgrimmar with it. Thrall and Kalecgos talked her out of that endevour and convinced her to hand the artifact to the Kirin Tor.
Kyōjin oh right now I remember. Thanks.
