    Thanks for sharing another great video.Iso love watching them all. All the baby goats have sure gotten big and beautiful. And those adorable little bunnies are getting big too for only being about a week old.
    So looking forward, to all of the new babies in the spring. Hopefully, you get your wish of having lots of baby girls.

    Oh no, my dear! I did not mean to unlike this video!!! I don’t know for sure but I heard video creators are alerted when they get an unlike and I just wanted to tell you it was an accident!🙅🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ Also, thank you for showing all the baby bunbuns!! They are SO CUTE! But where is number 5?! Did we just not see it tucked under the others or did you have a bummer moment on your farm? And will you please point out which one is the fainting goat in another video sometime? What are the differences? God bless you and thank you so much for bringing us along!✝️💛
    Danelle’s channel was the first “goat family” I ever started watching! So cool you all seem to know or at least know OF each other!😁

      You are so sweet! Unfortunately the 5th baby bunny was a bummer moment for sure. The third evening after they were born ALL of the bunnies were out of the nest, so I'm guessing something scared mama when she was nursing them. At 3 days old, they haven't even opened their eyes, so they had no way to get back. When I found them that evening, I got them back into the nest but sadly one was already gone.
      And I will definitely have to point out Amy in the next video! We originally got fainting goats as meat animals, but quickly realized that we would likely have plenty of extra bucks each year just from our dairy goats. But Amy was already a permanent family member, so she got to stay. 😁

    I am here because of Weed em and reap. I love their content. I am enjoying watching you too. I have seen all of Danielle's content and it's so cool watching you learn the same lessons she did and how you are improving your herd. With good genetics and registered babies, you will never struggle to find them good homes. Plus you have strong, healthy goats with good milk production. I don't even own goats but i love watching and learning. ❤

      I love it!! I was watching goat videos years before we ever got any. Watching other people's goats is what made me fall in love with them! Thanks for watching!! ❤️️

    Oh friend, so excited to see your babies. The season has started here as well! I have a thought... your silent girl... why doesn't she just become Archie's roomie for a month?

      That's such a good idea! I'm so stuck on wanting due dates that I hadn't considered it. But I would rather have surprise babies than no babies at all!! 😁

      @@NewDayFamilyFarm Girl, you are so good at this now, you'd just have to watch for the signs during that one month 150 days from when you put her in.

    Love your content, and can’t wait to see the spring babies! Our mini Nubian Milkshake is Due October 11th, we can not wait!
    I need more info on you keeping your doe and buck Rabbits together, we have a male and a female, and it makes me nervous lol I’ve only heard horror stories

    • @NewDayFamilyFarm
      @NewDayFamilyFarm  2 місяці тому +2

      Absolutely! I have a colony setup video in the works, because it works so great for us! I keep them together 24/7/365. They breed when they want, and I am able to free feed them because they have so much room to roam that they maintain a healthy weight all on their own. That then allows my doe to keep herself at a good weight, so she is not too pulled down by pregnancy/nursing. Colony is the way to go in my opinion! 😁

    Nubians are typically seasonal breeders which might be the reason why you aren’t seeing her cycle yet! I live in Maine so the weather cools down much faster then where you are but we still had a few does who just had their first heats a few weeks ago
    I also didn’t realize you were in Texas! There are some really wonderful Nubian breeders in your state, a few that placed very well at the adga nationals this year!

    • @NewDayFamilyFarm
      @NewDayFamilyFarm  2 місяці тому

      Yes, there are!! There are so many amazing breeders down here - I feel so fortunate to have easy access to so many awesome herds. And you're exactly right, it may just need to get a bit colder before she cycles. That's my hope! 🤞

    what about the pigs?

    • @NewDayFamilyFarm
      @NewDayFamilyFarm  2 місяці тому +1

      We have just a few left. Our breeders have moved on to other farms, but we have 4 piglets that we kept to grow out. They will stay here until next summer, and then we will be officially pig-less for a while!
