Petter thanks for the words. The lesson with Kevin was a game changer for both of us. We're blessed to have the opportunity to play at Sleepy and especially with Kevin. #SprechEffect
So hard to play around Westchester NY because most golf courses are PRIVATE. Very few public courses and they are played so much and times can run from 5 to 6 hours or more to play 18 holes. Can't wait to move down South to the Pinehurst area !
Frank & Mike: Great video thanks for posting. I am so envious of you both, if I win the TS driver I am going to set-up a playing lesson with Kevin...I know I know small chance but hey I can think about it right? BTW with the courses and yardage you guys play your scores are very good. I'd be more than satisfied. Thanks for sharing, love the sleepy hollow logo on Kevin's polo!
The course looked fantastic, especially the square green par 3 with sand around. I live next to some terrific courses here in Scotland but it's nice to see something a bit funky. How much to play it?
Course is 5 mins from me, one day I’ll get out there 😩 lol do y’all do any course reviews? Could do like top north east public courses rate them condition, cost, skill level ... there are so many courses I’m trying to play Centennial, The Garrison, Ferry Point ...
like the videos.... I cant seem to get the "would ya look at that" viral video out of my head almost every time i see and hear the shorter one speak...I think its the same person!
Who comments that. Who gives a shit. Go police people on a local municipal course you pay a 400 summer membership for but tell people you belong to a CC
Noticed Kevin in the back swing he doesn't take the club way back which gives great control. I would take it back way too far, now so much better control and ball flight with the club like Kevin's!
This could be the best golf video in the history of golf videos. Can this Sprecher dude please replace some of the old guy with all the instruction props on the Golf Channel?
I'm convinced the golf gods knew I was +1 over through 5 on the back nine, and it was Icabad Crane messing with me. Place did have a spooky feel ... ended up going +4 on the last 2 holes.
Looks like it was an alarm test at the Indian Point facility that was mentioned in the video. patch.com/new-york/peekskill/entergy-test-indian-point-siren-system-1
Well June-September it’s 90+ and wet because the amount of rain. But this time of the year it’s great, always get out too the better courses this time of the year
It's overstating it to say that it's even good. If you can hit the shot that you have in mind, why do you need a playing lesson? It only make sense if you're not any good at hitting shots that you want to hit. Every one of his "play coach" examples is a great example of that theory. Aiming left with a slice hoping to land on the fairway...with the much more likely results a wicked cut that still goes way right into the weeds or a power draw from over-rotating and hitting off the heel. Or maybe you just hit it perfect, but left, because you're aiming left. The pitch shot "off the hill that drains down to the hole" all examples. The main thing is that with said coaching you're trying to hit a ball with precision laterally and lengthwise instead of just one or the other. If you're not good enough to do that, then the coaching is hopeless because you simply cannot reliably put the ball where the coach tells you to put it....but if you could, there's very little need to have or benefit in having a course-coach for most courses especially without a lot of blind shots. The best coaching that i can think of is very simple. Grab a scorecard, go to the range and play a virtual round from tee to green. It helps if you have some idea of the fairway width as a function of distance from the tee, but it's not entirely necessary, just pick a point to hit to and try to get it close to that point. The key is to avoid hitting the same club (and trying to hit the same shot) repeatedly. Yes you can't mimic real-world lies this way, but you can mimic the simple basic fact that usually you don't want to hit the same shot twice in succession, neither the same club nor the same distance. You certainly don't want to hit the same shot with the same club and feel good about getting it right 3 times in a row...out of 5, 8 or even 10 tries. If you can't get on virtual greens in regulation when hitting off a mat, then you're probably not going to get on real greens in regulation when hitting out of real lies especially when hitting around & over real obstacles. The artistry of golf, the thing that keeps us coming back, is that it's not about hitting perfect shots. It's about achieving a decent score with a lot of "less than decent" shots, some ok shots and a few very-good shots mixed together. There was a time for each and everyone of us when we were happy to average two strokes over par per hole through 18 holes. If and when we ever break 80, how much better are we, really? A stroke and a half better per hole through 18 holes. So wow, you can get down to a stroke over per hole and still not break 90. On some courses this is easy, especially in good weather. And on some it's very hard especially with strong winds and rain. The reality of golf is in between these two extremes. You don't need a "course coach" to play golf well. You need to hit your shots reliably. If you need a "course-coach" to do that then you're hopeless because all they are really doing is helping you to stay in play given your inability to choose your own shots well and make them reliably and stay in play without someone coaching you. Hire a good caddy, at least they'll carry your clubs for you.
I got better tips from this video than I have from watching hundreds of UA-cam Golf Videos...Nicely done guys
Glad I found the videos, Kevin seems like a great guy.
guys you don't know how lucky you were to play such a fantastic course. great vlog and a playing lesson is a must can save you so many shots.
Petter thanks for the words. The lesson with Kevin was a game changer for both of us. We're blessed to have the opportunity to play at Sleepy and especially with Kevin. #SprechEffect
Such a beautiful course. Everything is so lush and green. I wish I could play there on a day off.
Nothing like having a qualified set of eyes to help improve your game. Fun video. Keep these coming fellas.

Golf course is fantastic. Kevin is wonderful. Thanks for posting this.
Philip Cunningham what state is it in
I work in nukes, haven't been to Indian point yet but don't worry about a little siren. Lol they did do siren testing though.
Second favorite vid next to fitting

Thanks for tuning in Dave. Good luck!
One of my favorites by far. A good amount of tips for any level player here.
Glad the video helped! Thanks!
Terrific video guys! Thanks! And what an amazing course
Love your channel... you guys seem fun... not cocky or pompous (even though you are good enough to be).
Mike Fernandez thank you 🙏🏼
Love that you in corporateed shot tracer

Haha “if you’re gonna die, you might as well die on a golf course” ..best line ever 😆
Love this video. So helpful. Keep up the great work.
What a beautiful golf course where is this located at?
frank turcol it’s in Sleepy Hollow, NY. The place is a real jem.
That music was so intense! Great vid fellas
guys .....very good greatings from the netherlands .
Thanks Kevin!
Sounds like me, 4 pars then a 10 on a par 3. Great stuff guys
Course is 5 mins from me, one day I’ll get out there 😩 lol do y’all do any course reviews? Could do like top north east public courses rate them condition, cost, skill level ... there are so many courses I’m trying to play Centennial, The Garrison, Ferry Point ...
it would be dope to play aroumd with kevin and y'all. bet y'all learned a WHOLE lot of valuable stuff
Mr Sprecher seems to know a bit about golf. Great video.
The real question we need to know is what did Kevin shoot?
Nicholas 29
Really great stuff guys. Looked like an awesome day. :)
Another very good vid guys
Great job, really enjoyed this.
Is Kevin Sprecher using a welded center shaft Cameron? Doesnt look like it but I thought he was a Titleist guy.
Hi Jacob. You can check out Kevin's WITB on his website here: www.kevinsprecher.com/
Apparently it is a welded center shaft Cameron! Must be a California Monterey head center shaft welded. That's a pretty unique setup! I like it!
like the videos.... I cant seem to get the "would ya look at that" viral video out of my head almost every time i see and hear the shorter one speak...I think its the same person!
Just found your channel. You guys are awesome!
Thanks Brandon!
great video guys!
Great video
Hey guys, great video... make it a habit to fix your divots right after every shot!
Did you miss the caddy's walking around with them... that's what you pay them for. Better yet, the course would rather have them do it.
Who comments that. Who gives a shit. Go police people on a local municipal course you pay a 400 summer membership for but tell people you belong to a CC
This video got me to subscribe.
Noticed Kevin in the back swing he doesn't take the club way back which gives great control. I would take it back way too far, now so much better control and ball flight with the club like Kevin's!
The fact that this is free content is absurd
Solid work boy's!
I only wish I cold get top coaching like that...
This could be the best golf video in the history of golf videos. Can this Sprecher dude please replace some of the old guy with all the instruction props on the Golf Channel?
Ben Hoganblades thanks! We totally agree that Sprecher would make for a great instruction personality on GC.
is that Ed Bassmaster?
Were they wearing Titleist caps I couldn't see for all the branding... I hate when its OTT like that.
James Lovering Frank is wearing a Golficity hat.
Kevin knows his sh*t!!!
Do you know what the alarm was?
We never found out and no one at the golf course knew what it was. Kind of creepy to say the least...
I'm convinced the golf gods knew I was +1 over through 5 on the back nine, and it was Icabad Crane messing with me. Place did have a spooky feel ... ended up going +4 on the last 2 holes.

patch.com/new-york/peekskill/entergy-test-indian-point-siren-system-1
Mystery solved! Thanks Lex! Would have been nice if they warned us. Not exactly the type of test alarm you want to have sneak up on you LOL!
Guess since no one was glowing at the end of the round, it all turned out ok 🙂
How golf coaching should always be
Interesting- putting down on the ball to pop it out of the grass. I always did the opposite. I'll give that a try.
That par three is a totally American golf hole. You would never see a hole like that in the UK.
Course looks like a 'super mario' level
Never get views like this in Florida, need too move
Phenom _-_ true, but at least it’s warm there 🥶
Well June-September it’s 90+ and wet because the amount of rain. But this time of the year it’s great, always get out too the better courses this time of the year
They are definitely not 15 handicap I’m sorry
Wrong Kevin, ball up in the stance in uphil lies, and back in downhill lies.
boring video....you didn't go thru haw far you drove and how far to green what club to approach/hit green.
That creepy music he put in while going over the course ruined the whole video for me.
.
