I use NAPA Gold #1348 which also supports local people and is made in USA. The 1348 fits in all my small engines but is longer than what you are using giving more filter area and cost a lot less than those short ones. Even painted black just like you used and I can assure you J.D. buys from different filter companies. There is also a few vids where they cut open new filters from different companies and compare what's inside. Well worth watching. Yes, I do buy most of my stuff from J.D. but not everything. It is suprising that some parts from J.D. are not that expensive. Belts and blades are best to be bought from J.D. as they last longer.
Hey buddy, i need to change my oil soon . Can you tell me what size cap wrench you're using to remove your oil filter ? I have everything already except the cap. Thanks!
@@davisfarmandorchard6160 Thank you so much! That's where I was looking last week ,but I didn't know what size to get. Yeah, it's the Hyper Tough brand. I just added it to my cart. It's $3.68 online.😃
most cats like a nice soft comfy bed. but he looked totally comfy on that brick bed
Dak sleeps everywhere- his newest spot is on the hood of a Dodge truck 🐈

Is that John Deere oil filter made in U.S.A.?
Yes- made in USA 🇺🇸 on the box
@@davisfarmandorchard6160 did that oil filter cao wrench come with it or did you buy separately?
@@brianseppa4900 - I bought several different sizes of those cap wrenches from Walmart
@@davisfarmandorchard6160 thanks for the info appreciate it
I put a flat piece of plastic under the filter. It let's the oil drain back. U can punch a hole in the filter, too. Let it empty before spinning off.
my owners manual doesn't show an 8 hr oil change but some videos show it
@@review4view - my dealer said first oil change at 10 hours- then yearly or every 100 hours
the 2024 s240 doesn't need the oil changed till 100 hrs or 1 year it no longer needs it after 8 hrs
