ACCESS: Firefighter CPR (2024)

The purpose of the “Firefighter CPR” procedures is to address the unique needs of rescuing a fully “turned out” firefighter from a hazardous environment, rapidly extricating the firefighter from their protective gear, while transitioning rapidly into traditional high-performance CPR or other care as needed. The procedure below is designed with three trained rescuers but may be modified as needed.
