Sony vs AI ( The battle for the Sony photography awards )

This is the story of Boris Eldachsin, a German artist who won the creative open category of the Sony World Photography Awards for his black and white portrait of two women from different generations, titled Pseudomnesia, the Electrician. However, he declined his award upon revealing that the image was actually a synthetic image produced by artificial intelligence. The organizers of the award expressed disappointment and suspended activities with him in keeping with his wishes.
