Quite idealistic, I know, but if I could have anything I wished for, one of those wishes would be... I would wish that Kvatch was a fully realized city that a player could visit and do quests in-even visit the Mages Guild Hall, the Fighters Guild Hall, fight in the arena, etc.-as any other city, even visit and talk with Priest Martin in the Great Chapel of Akatosh (new lines voiced by a talented Sean Bean impersonator, of course, if the legend himself was unavailable to volunteer his velvety talent), and that it not revert to its standard, destroyed state until after the player gets the quest from Jauffre to go fetch Martin. That quest would be the trigger to replace the full city with the destroyed one, with the smoke plumes now visible in the distance, letting you know something big has happened. Pipe dream, I know, but it would have made the game all the better had that been the case. The player has the freedom not to go to Jauffre as it is, and so having been able to go to Kvatch like normal, and it not be destroyed until later, would have made all the more impact. People and places you would have grown to know and love would now be destroyed, helping you to sympathize with the few survivors, to resonate with their loss on an emotional level.
@Noth Gott Where, in anything that I wrote, did I ever state or even suggest that "all 12 cities shall have a second main quest"? You invented that out of whole cloth. Never mind the fact that there are not even "12 cities" in Oblivion's Cyrodiil. Starting east and sweeping our way west around the crescent-shaped province, let's count them together: Anvil (1), Kvatch (2), Skingrad (3), Chorrol (4), Bruma (5), Imperial City (6), Cheydinhal (7), Bravil (8), and Leyawiin (9). How many cities are there in Oblivion's Cyrodiil? Nine, not twelve. If you need improving your reading comprehension and counting abilities, there are plenty of tools and aids that can help you, many of which are provided for free online.
When skyblivion is done Will you ever get in contact with Bethesda and make conversations about skyblivion coming to console , like a port or a creation club game overhaul or a individual game or dlc . I know there a part of your community who doesn’t have the money for a pc and would love this on console .
Skyblivion unfortunately cant run on consoles because we rely on SKSE which in no way can be used on consoles. Bethesda would have to start from scratch
Hey rebel, does skyblivion work in skyrim VR, has it been tested? it's literally a dream of mine to experience cyrodiil in VR, I've tried to make a VR mod for oblivion but progress is slow.
Keep going I really love this idea And a lot of people of mine do
