I kinda thought that the whole disclaimer at the beginning of the game about people and places was just part of the edgy style the game was going for, but yeah, I can see Altus really was trying to cover their ass.
lol disclaimer is edgy? any movie or game that has disclaimer about story, people and places are most likely, if not all, are based on true event, or real places.

I walked around Kabukicho (Shinjuku) a few nights, looking for a locations from Yakuza (Ryu Ga Gotoku) series. It was safe, as everywhere in Japan. Maids are cute :)

Amazing I’m here in Tokyo and we’re gonna see these area but it’s harder to find as all over, Is there a list for these places
I'm sure you'll find something on google, also check reddit. But it's best to walk around the area and look for yourself. There are no crowds and many tourists in the Sangenjaya (Yongen-Jaya in P5) district, and it is pleasant to walk around. I couldn't find laundry and it was already dusk, so I showed the screenshot to the policeman in Kōban, and he showed me the way :)
Sadly it was close the bathhouse and I asked people but no one was sure when it would open, I got to the train station but it’s hard to find everywhere, like the flowers shop, did bump into a persona 5 fan looking for the wash house so that was cool
Life is so different in Japan than in the western world. It's pretty cool that a lot of P5 locations were based of places in real life. I always thought they just draw random buildings.

Maybe someday? But Inaba is a fictional town. Yasoinaba Station was based on real-life Isawaonsen Station, but the famous building was demolished in 2016 :(
