- I hope you like this drop stitch chevron scarf pattern! I've been seeing lots of knitters with big aspirations for the new year and I can see how it can get a little overwhelming. So I wanted to bring a cheap n'cheerful pattern that you can get started on right away. A one row garter chevron repeat and dropped stitches to make it work up quicker? Yes please!
cast on a multiple of 12+13, I did 37. Plus 2 edge stitches makes 39
The garter repeat is as follows:
knit edge stitch, k1 k5, k2tog bl, k4, kfb to last st k1
do that for 10 rows before starting the dropped stitch rows!
Make it 50" or as long as you'd like. I felted my scarf a little in the washing machine.
