Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. If a Pokémon faints, then it must be permanently boxed.
2. I can only catch the first encounter on each Route.
3. No bag items in battle, except for pokéballs. (Held items are allowed)
4. Must be played on "Set" battle mode.
5. Cannot level over the next gym leader/elite 4's highest level pokémon.

39:50 It was not a speed tie. It's the same problem you had on medicham vs hydreigon. You were faster 1st turn bc of megaevolution speed not coming up until turn 2!

This is my comfort Nuzlocke game up until about Flannery and then it becomes "who survives a nuke" simulator. Well done Nick!

39:55 It wasn't a speed tie. Mega Metagross is very fast; it was only slower on the first turn because changes in speed from mega evolution don't apply on the first turn in gen 6.
I found out recently that people have been Nuzlocking other games besides Pokemon and even RPGs in general 😳
People have been Nuzlocking an old NFS game; ProStreet, because a lot of the same rules can be adapted because of how the game works, for example you can't repair or replace cars with the same model, which could kill a run at any point.

What’s a good emulator for pc? And also a controller recommendation? Just getting into pc emulation.
For 3DS use Citra, for GBA use MGBA, for DS use Desmume, for Wii and Gamecube use Dolphin, for Switch use Yuzu

brother this is just a small request -- i.e. not a big deal -- but could we get an overlay. maybe one that shows the team you have, how many deaths we're up to, and maybe who's in the box and/or dead? it's really not a big deal if you're not into that. i enjoy your videos nonetheless.
I was playing nuzlocke this rom recently and got a magnet pull magneton in New Mauville but before the door opens, so you could have gotten it at the early point you wanted - unless it was changed when I got the hack

More reliable is pkhex edit the save to add rare candies to your item directly
