I just installed the same set onto my 1999 GMC Safari Van (518K). In Canada they are twice the price you pay in the USA, but they are one quarter of the price of a pair of Monro Sensa-Track coil-over shocks, which could be another solution to the sag that occurs in leaf springs over time. The bumper to grade distance increased just over one inch which I suspect returns the vehicle to the factory new height. Just transported 16 of the 24"X24"X2" concrete patio stones with no bottoming out on the frame and no scrubbing of the tires in the wheel wells when transversing speed bumps. At the 1500 Lb. setting the ride seems slightly stiffer but it feels good and I"m happy with that.
That's crazy on the price from the USA to Canada it doesn't make any sense but what do you do right? I added a 2nd set on mine just two days ago and new shocks on the front and back .
Thanks for the thorough video, I'm more a visual learner so this helped a ton. Straight to the point with some tips during the install, I'd give it more than one like if I could
RGV_Angler Adventurer D.M yes it does. the kits should have a weight rating telling how much more it will add to the total you can tow or haul. it doesn't affect hitch tongue weight.
Due to past heavy load on left side of my f250, it sags on that side. Do you think I could level things out with a set of these. maybe setting the left one for the heaviest load and the right one to the lightest setting.? Or just installing the left one.? Thanks
For what they cost it would be worth a try. I would try putting the left one on and see if it makes a different's on it. I have to set's on mine that is in the video
Thanks my friend, your help is much appreciated! Does the u bolt go over that pin that you put in the “second” hole on the axle end of the helper spring itself? Thanks, I liked and subscribed. We’d get along well my man, thanks again from southern Virginia!
I can't find them anymore but did find this set shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/autocraft-3-way-adjustable-leaf-helper-springs-ac111020/10053624-p?c3ch=PLA&c3nid=10053624-P&adtype=&msclkid=3565064a7ab7179780195950a7f0013a&Fhorns%2Fand%2Fsecurity_cargo%2Fmanagement_gen_gen_all_rmktg_aap_us_all&Bing_PLA_Cargo%20Horns%20And%20Security_Cargo%20Management_Suspension&gclid=CL_zuOX65eoCFVecxQIdj7AApw&gclsrc=ds

I have an f250 with leafs on the front that i want to put a snowplow on.would these help with that horrible sag some plow trucks get?
They would help a little but I don't think it would be enough
jamming your back into the dirt supported jack was nuts but the instal is easyer than the top mounted ones
It's all good
I think this might be just what I am looking for. Thanks for the info and the how to video
You're very welcome
I try to install the other tipe helpers but those only fit on the back of spring leaf.maybe this will fit on front of the leaf
They fit on the front and back of mine.
How come nobody ever shows what everyone wants to see? The ride height before and after!
so the truck doesnt have to be raised to install the springs?
Not this style
my dear the mostm right is adding normal leaf that will make it better than this way thank u for your intrest good works
Thanks for sharing !!!
You bet
I see you just had one jack in the back center. Did you just take the bed weight off to install the Helper springs?
Yes, that's all I did
@@MrJustDIY Thanks, I am getting ready to install a set on my Ranger today!
does that prevent sagg when hauling heavy

You're welcome!
Why you put them under your springs
That's what the instructions say to do.

It goes set in the little bend right in front of the holes for the pin

Use Red loctite if you don't have a lock nut
Good job👍
well done, just wondering where to get them from?
Ebay is how I got mine
Do you know about
Maybe
Good work in a tight space. Bet that was fun for your wife filming you under there :)
Thanks yeah it was fun trying to get a good view
Buddy, go buy life insurance, because no jack stands under that truck means no longevity for you.
He didn’t raise the truck
Nice video,,,, but you should have safety glasses on "
I agree
