- The red lines indicate the breaks between measures. The yellow highlighting gives you an approximate indication of where you are in the song. This is based on Mountain's version of the song. There is an error in the lyrics on the second page. It should say "Oh the fires that they started, all the girls with no regrets".
I was sitting with lead guitarist, Jim- and we were jamming. Looked on the Internet, high and low-for a definitive chart on ANY version of this song. Zip. We argued, and got fed up. What a bringdown. Now I find this chart-and I'm So Glad- I'm Glad, I'm Glad, I'm Glad. (LIVE CREAM).
Merci pour ça Grand
Thank you!
thank you for providing this chart and backing track great song
Also- I went to a CARVIN Guitar Workshop for bassists in Hollywood. It was odd. The only thing I remember was the dudes that were the studs-teaching us fools, had some fun- and went into a spirited guitar version of THEME when we weren't looking. Sounded neat. That was the most important thing-I took home with me. Good songs are kept in the pocket. (No pun intended) And thankfully, GUITAR KARAOKE GUY, is all over it. (THANK YOU, MAN!)
Glad you like the video. Thanks
Please keep uploading more. This stuff is so great!
Thanks so much for this track.
It's overdue, but better late than never. One line is in need of correction. "Oh the fires that they started, all the girls with no regrets"
It took you ten years to tell me that?
@@guitarkaraokeguy All due respect for your video. I have always been a tremendous fan of the song and the artists who performed it, specifically Jack Bruce/Pete Brown who composed the music and wrote the lyrics, and the rock band Mountain who delivered what in my opinion is the definitive version. I've always been a tremendous fan of Mountain. I have in my possession the official "Mountain" songbook that I acquired shortly after the release of their first alnum in 1970. It contains the correct notation and lyrics to all the songs from Leslie West's first solo album as well as the Mountain "Climbing!" album, including Theme for an Imaginary Western. Through the years I have seen countless examples of their songs on websites and UA-cam videos where the lyrics are completely butchered. Your video only had a minor mistake, but for the sake of accuracy and out of respect for the music I felt obliged to correct it. To answer your question, it didn't take me ten years to correct you. It was only this morning that I found your video and I spent 15 minutes writing this. Cheers and thanks for the video.
