What a legend Inglis was, he would have to also be known as having the best fend in game. I can’t believe he was born in NSW and he played for QLD. He appeared to be someone you don’t winde up and he will tear your defence apart.
He is a freak of nature along with Billy Slater , and we are all so fortunate to be here to see it, he is already an imortal in my eyes, i love watching the highlights u can really see there true

Haha mate, I played against Greg when i was younger. He played all off his junior footy in Bowraville which is actually about 400 kms from the border. If you're going to have a rant at least make sure you actually know what you're talking about. I'm a N.S.W supporter but I love watching Greg play. Believe when I say I got that fend to my face oh so many times haha.

Inglis what a beast always performing one of the best in the world and in my opinion one of the greatest centres ever eminds me of meninga big fast agile but yet so skillful. worldclass is the only way to describe big G.I. What about his move to fullback in 2012 and 2013 one of the best in the game. Simply brilliant.

The hit at 0:36 was when I knew Qld had the series won. Minichiello was already covered in-goal, but Inglis came out of the clouds to nail him. Qld were there to party.
I'm not talking about rules or "decisions", I'm talking about where he's from. Until he was 17 he was a New South Welshmen - born and bred. He chose QLD - good for him. As a former Bowravillian, I salute him as the greatest product ever to come from my (NSW) town :)

Rules are pretty simple for State of Origin - you qualify for the State in which you played your first Senior Graded Game (A grade, or First Grade, whichever you prefer to call it). He is a Qlder - and one of our best :) Schools don't count. Besides, given the choice would you want to play with Qld or NSW (remembering he made this decision before the current 7 in a row series wins)......

God damn. How many Origins has this man and Billy Slater won for Queensland with their innate ability to find their way to the try line with millimetre precision. Helps when you have maestros in the halves orchestrating it all, juggernauts in the forwards and a tactician like Cam Smith laying the groundwork. QUEENSLANDER!

It's a weird world when you consider a kid who grew up playing footy until the end of high school in News South Wales a QLDer, especially in a game called "State of Origin". Mal got in his ear, so he switched, let's call a spade a spade. He'll never be a true maroon.

Inglis played for Hunter Sports High when he was sixteen - his coach is on the record on it. Name a NSW player who played their footy in QLD up to senior level and then played for NSW. QLDers love pointing out Peter Sterling as an example, but Sterling played all his footy in NSW. NSW does it too, but nowhere near the same scale.
GI will be QLD's next full back when Slater is gone, awesome player.

never seen him as being cocky,but if you say he is,then at least he can back it up wit his playing ability.He is one of those quite dudes that if pressed the wrong button would fire up to another level.The incident with Young was the first time I've seen him fired up since the A.Johns incident in 2010 @1:17,maybe because of the scuffle he had with Merrin earlier, but you could tell an angry G.I from a happy one based on his try celebrations, the facial expressions eg. happy:@1:46, fired up:@1:33

The avg of NFL players are alot, bigger and faster then Leagues, it's also a much harder sport to play that is more dangerous, but the american footballers still praise aussie rugby players for running at each other without padding ;)
