The concept is not 100% original. At this point, not many are. Different people just say the same things differently. In fact Sonyae's song reminded me of a song from the early 2000s, "My Religion" by Krystal Harris. Google it. The only lyrical similarity in this is the "my religion" part and if that is your basis Krystal Harris can sue Sonyae and REM can sue Krystal Harris. They did "Losing My Religion" in the 90s, you know.
What i don't seem to understand is why people have to announce that they are atheist no one cares lol and even at that this song isn't even about "God" its about him saying he's found his "Heaven" in the girl he is singing about and how he believes in the love he has for her... he doesn't say that he believes one way or another in the entire song -_-
@sinnia12 Because it's soooooo likely that they wrote rehearsed and produced this song in less than a month after the Platinum Hit finale. Possible. Just not likely. A concept is never going to be 100% original. I'm sure someone else has had a similar theme in a song years ago.
